We had to wait another 10min to be able to check in our luggage! On arrival, luggage took 45min to just start delivering, completely wiping out the 30min arrival ahead of schedule."

This experience that I experienced at the departing gate was unprecedented, worse than the worse charter flight from a third world country decades ago!!! Apparently Transavia has "Sky Serv" employees doing their departing gate work, and they are the worse I have encountered in my life. Rude, irresponsible, talking back to customers when they dared ask them a question, not caring about anything let alone the comfort of the customers, or advising them of status of departure. As a result, they allowed a line to form for boarding, with all the relevant shoving and pushing, including older people standing and being pushed in line, as the Shy Serv employee went behind the departure desk and THE TIME OF DEPARTURE HAD COME, so it was natural for all to stand up in line thinking they will board, while the ARRIVING PLANE HAD NOT EVEN ARRIVED. And when I realized that (also in line) I asked the Sky Serv employee who appeared as the supervisor, why are they not telling the people that so they can sit down, the answer was "we didn't tell them to stand up"!!! When I told them that I thought it was just considerate to do that, he was joined in defence by his colleagues saying "no-one told you or anybody else to stand up, you and they did". As if this was not enough, when finally the plane came, people debarked, and plane was made ready to board, we were asked to board, only to stop us on the middle of the the boarding bridge and stand there for 15 minutes with no one to tell us anything, until a member of the plane crew came out to advise us of the delay and allow us to proceed to the plane. NEVER AGAIN WILL I FLY TRANSAVIA, or any airline that has "Sky Serv" as it's ground handlers!!!!"

Cons: "Took forever to check in. I know they were under strike at that time but then after waiting for so long and just making our flight, they sent my luggage to Seville Spain. It took 3 full days for me to get my luggage. I contacted via Facebook and email and basically just got the response of I have to wait until it arrives at the airport and the best advice they could give was to call the Seville airport. I mentioned multiple times in my email and message that I did not have phone service. I showed up to the airport everyday to see if it made it in finally it did on day 3. It wasn’t until 5 days later that they even contacted me to say it had arrived but I had already picked it up. Very disappointing."

Calling them didn't help as the call center has no ability to change anything on your booking. At the kiosk they charged us double to check our bags because that's just how that works, even though their website ate our credit card information and didn't give us an ability to pay for luggage before check in online. The whole experience has made me decide to never use them ever again."

Cons: "The major slowness and inefficiency to board and the major delays. Trapped in te plane when they would clearly know that the destination airport would not receive the plane late because of the airport space limitations."

Cons: "The check in process was very slow and we spent almost an hour waiting in line. We boarded on time, but then sat on the plane for over an hour because of technical issues. I would rather wait in the airport during those issues, as there is more room to stretch and move about."

I learn lessons every time I travel! Today’s lesson is NEVER AGAIN Ryanair!"

Cons: "They didn't have record that I had paid for extra luggage for my party of 7. Luckily, I had my paperwork so I was able to finally get my luggage on without paying again. The flight bordered 40 minutes late and then sat on the runway for an hour. They was never an announcement as to why. My mother is in a wheelchair. They didn't let her pre-board, and then put her wheelchair through with the luggage. She had to get to the luggage carousel without it. They told her to just walk. Luckily, she can walk a little with help. Yikes, if she was totally disabled."

Don't make me feel like I owe you,really you owe me a easy time getting through all the troubles of your airline.If some one from the airline reads this you should play under cover and see what i mean ,act as a person who needs help,does not understand your accent .you just really are bad !!"

Pros: "The flight was A-okay, but the experience leading up to it was not."
Cons: "First of all, the website is laid out in such a way that it's easy to make unnessasarry additional purchases. We ended up purchasing seats at the very back of the plane. We were unable to print our boarding tickets prior to checking in at the airport and after waiting in line for help, were directed to self help computers that we had to pay-to-use. These were not working and after lining up for help several more times (to get change to pump into the computers etc...) and sending off a 'chat help request we finally left and got a different clerk. While this second clerk was telling us we'd have to pay for her help, someone else overheard our challenges and took over from the clerk, printed our boarding tickets at no further charge and got us on our way. While we certainly appreciate the service at the end, it should never have come to that."

Cons: "I had just flown in on another Ryanair flight where I had stored my roll-on in the overhead bin. For the next leg the gate agent said my bag must fit in the "If it fits your bag flies free" container. It did not fit and he ignored my observation that it had fit in the bin just 30 minutes prior (identical planes Boeing 737 800). He charged me 50 Euros, delayed boarding, but remained courteous throughout. My complaint is that the unequal sizes of overhead bins and size-gauge allows for caprice and introduces tension between customer and agent. He was within his guidelines but many bags were allowed on that would not have fit. So does the company wish to continue a practice that alienates customers and places extra stress on gate agents? I'll never fly Ryanair until they eliminate this shell game."

Pros: "A couple baggage check attendents let us use the business line to check our baggage because no one was in that linr"
Cons: "We got hammered with fees for not printing our boarding passes and prechecling our luggage. Not just the usual, got to pay for thr service but a substantial charge for not doing it ahead of time. The flight attendants were a little cool, no snacks at all, $3 for a bottle of water, otherwise no drinks. Ryanair had low fares but nickels and dimes you to offset that low cost ticket."

Cons: "Our backpacks cost as much as our tickets. I probably will use them again, though."

Pros: "It was amusing to see flight attendants peddle wares ranging from fragrances to scratch off lottery tickets. It definitely made flying Ryanair a memorable experience."

Cons: "I was travelling for two days and arrived in Dublin to check in and had to pay 240 Euros between my friend and I for checking in at the airport and 4 bags. Absolute rip off and will never fly Ryan Air again. The flight cost 160 Euros, and my check in and bag fees were 80 Euros more. First company to charge for not checking in two hour prior online. Give me a break!"

Cons: "we had our carryon bags separated so we had to wait at carrousel for mine..we recommend checking a bag for single travelers rather than multiples..thanks...fred and kim"

Pros: "They should bring their service to the United States. I enjoyed it and the $499 savings over top named carriers"

Pros: "For the price, everything went well. We paid a lot for baggage and it had to be under 40 pounds but it all worked out. The flight was almost an hour delayed but the flight itself was fine."

Cons: "Your check in process in Dublin is extremely confusing and it's absolutely ridiculous that you charge 45 euros PER PERSON if you need your boarding passes printed. The worst part is that the person who directed us to the line to get the boarding pass could have at the least mentioned we could save the money and check in on line to save the money. We were in the two hour window of time and would have been able to. We were shifted from line to line to line. Very disappointed. Unfortunately having to pay the 90 euro completely ruined the entire flight."
