Cons: "Had to check prophylacticly my roller bag, even though flight wasn't full—"

Pros: "The 'ease' of travelling with B. A., the efficiency of the staff and the comfortable seats in the plane all added to an enjoyable trip."

Pros: "Crew was nice, complimentary refreshments on board. Seat had spacious leg room."
Cons: "Flight was an hour delayed."

Cons: "Nothing"

Pros: "The hot bacon sandwich for breakfast was generous for economy."
Cons: "We left late but I’m not sure the airline could do much about it."

Pros: "The seating configuration. Complementary drinks."
Cons: "The chance to be able to volunteer the hand baggage in Dusseldorf airport the same as available in London Terminal 5. The plane is small and it is best to have it sent to the haul after clearing security. This was not offered at any stage at Dusseldorf."

Pros: "nice crew"
Cons: "missed the connecting flight due to delay"

Cons: "Delay of a half hour."

Pros: "Offer of small meal."
Cons: "Delayed 1 hour. Asked to check in bag as full flight"

Pros: "The stewards were very nice and professional!"
Cons: "From my point of view, everything was just right. Loved it."

Pros: "The Flight attendant was nice."
Cons: "The gate could have actually showed our flight which it did not. Someone could have communicated that the flight was delayed instead of saying final call on the boards. Overall it was very confusing and no staff was present to assist. In the end we were 2 hours late."

Cons: "Be on time so we dont miss our connection"

Pros: "Flight and on board service was fine"
Cons: "It is not acceptable when arriving at the recommended time, at a major airport, with a major airline, to find no desks open. We checked in online but our passes “could not be issued”. There were no self service terminals so we stood waiting an hour. Staff were sitting idly but not serving customers."

Pros: "More legroom comes as standard, compared to competitor airlines on the same route with the same aircraft"
Cons: "The interior of the plane is a little bit tatty"

Pros: "I like every single thing staff was kindly, smiley and helpful. Check in easy, I liked very much our pop corn and Fanta complimentary offer as also our quick trip. Landing smoothly and nicely"
Cons: "there was nothing I didnt like"

Pros: "Staff very attentive and friendly"
Cons: "Because some of the passengers had not booked in online they were selected to be admitted from fight if takeoff problems occurred. Apparently there was a problem due to high wind gusts in taking off from Florence but information was very minimal and not displayed to passengers. People should not be discriminated because they are unable to go online!"

Cons: "Better not be hungry while boarding"

Pros: "I think I may have had more room in the seat on this little plane than when I crossed the ocean. Also the window seemed bigger. Very comfortable flight."

Pros: "punctual ,good service"

Cons: "2 hours late"

Cons: "Il"

Pros: "The crew were lovely and the seats comfy for the 2hr flight"
Cons: "Having to board the plane in the pouring rain by running across the tarmac."

Pros: "As someone who hadn’t flown with BA for a while, I certainly had positive experience with this flight. The staff was professional and the boarding/disembarking processes were smooth and quick."
Cons: "Need to work on punctuality. Would have been an excellent journey if it wasn’t for the delay."

Cons: "Called me a no show even though I was there."

Pros: "Ease of boarding, staff was delightful, flight was early arrival, everything was super."
Cons: "We arrived with 3 hours before our flight, as recommend for International travel. But we were not allowed to check our bags until 9:50 AM. We waited on line for almost 2 hours! If we had been told of this restriction we could have gone to a lounge to relax. Instead we waited a long time on foot."

Pros: "Stuff happens outside of the company's control and the inbound flight was an hour late due to crew absence. We were kept informed along the way and we boarded 55 minutes later than expected. However I couldn't have wanted for a better inflight service. Charming helpful and effective."
Cons: "Having to wait for the delayed flight."

Pros: "The seats were spacious"
Cons: "There were no gluten-free food options, not even an apple, so no food for us."

Pros: "What a superb service! Impeccable staff, free meal and alcoholic drink, larger seats, excellent flight! Couldn't ask for more"
Cons: "None!"

Cons: "I missed the flight not because of me, but the confusion information that a staff gave it to me."

Cons: "BA has a problem with one of the doors. Chaos."

Pros: "Free wine or beer"
Cons: "Late"

Pros: "Flight was comfortable and boarding was completely stress free. Myself and my partner checked in online with ease and were at our gates efficiently upon departure and return"
Cons: "Our flights were delayed 3 hours and 20 and although we were compensated for lunch at the airport, when handing out refreshments onboard we were completely missed out. Also pretty annoyed to find that we could only use the lunch vouchers in a hand full of the bars and restaurants."

Pros: "Timing and low cost for some flights"
Cons: "High cost some flights makes planning challenging."

Pros: "Aircraft was excellent LCY is very convenient Price was very competitive for most trips"
Cons: "BA is BA, Better than low cost guys but not LH Sometimes prices are high, with coach being higher than Club."

Cons: "Flight was fine LCY Worked very well. You are BA I DO NOT WANT TO BE NICKLE AND DIMED TO TAKE LUGGAGE. Yare not Ryan Air. If there is a charge make it clear when I buy the ticket. I do not expect to have to tell BA to grow up."

Pros: "Crew was nice. Small planes have better nicer seats and more leg room"
Cons: "Massive delay due to snow, no vouchers given until flight was cancelled (and it was all closed). Only updates were via BA app or email. Next day flight also delayed, and again delays communicated only via app or email (not at signs at airport)"

Pros: "The flight itself was fine. On time, clean aircraft and professional."
Cons: "But the food policy is a joke. They wouldn’t give us anything, including water without buying it. I had no local currency and was waiting until I landed to use the ATM. When flying, people need water."

Pros: "The Service, with smile, awesome service. Very British!"
Cons: "Nothing"

Cons: "THE BACK FIRST TOOK MY MONEY, THEN MY FULL PASSPORT DETAILS AND THEN DENIED ME FLYING BECAUSE THEY PUT MY SURNAME TWICE ON THE BOARDING PASS. THEY ARE ALWAYS WIN. I AM OUT OF POCKET FOR £170 AND DELAYED BY 2.5 HOURS. THIS IS THE WAY THEY MAKE THEIR MONEY - BY CHEATING ON PASSENGERS."

Pros: "How do you be a full service airline and charge for check in bag. I had no way provided to prepay for a bag resulting in getting charged £60 at the airport. This notwithstanding trying to explain how your website failed me."
Cons: "Above"

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Bad service, messed up booking, change me to the last row at boarding, I can keep going"

Cons: "Flight was delayed by seeming incompetence by ground crew in dealing with removal of bag from airplane"

Cons: "The boarding process was like a Third World country. The flight was fine, the flight attendants were lovely, but the boarding process was ridiculous. Nobody in the gate area knew which gate it was leaving from or what time it was leaving, it was quite delayed, finally it was posted to start boarding at five minutes after the departure time and instead, when everyone looked up, people were boarding 10 minutes before that. Ridiculous."

Pros: "All was OK"
Cons: "Nothing"

Pros: "Free food and drink remains on City flights. Convenience of City."
Cons: "Long flight. No entertainment"

Pros: "Boarded on Time"
Cons: "Flight took off but the plane was faulty. We landed an hour after take off waited in a room with no air conditioning for over an hour with no updates. After 3 hours after the flight was supposed to leave they cancelled the flight. Very poor and very disappointed!"

Pros: "Lucky enough that the flight was half empty so there was space for the passengers, the seats are comfortable"
Cons: "The flight was from Faro in July excesseding temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius outside, while inside was a an absolute freezer, not more than 15/16 degrees inside. I had to change cloathing mid flight cus I couldn't deal with the cold air anymore. On previous flight from London stansted to fato was exactly the same, and there wasn't any difference, we asked if we could turn off the aircon, no answer was given, neither warm covers were provided since the air was so cold. The flight attendant was female, by the name tag was "Praya" was somewhat a bit insensitive, but I realised after that she was as unfortunate as we were cus she was wearing a short sleeve shirt part of uniform, and experiencing the same as the rest of the passengers. The temperature issue caused the flight to be extremely unpleasant."

Pros: "Friendly flight crew. Loved arriving in the city instead of Gatwick."
Cons: "No complaints."

Pros: "Flight attendants were awesome!"

Pros: "Thanks to COVID, minimal service"
Cons: "A cup of tea about $7.00. Can it be better. Certainly"

Cons: "Food"

Pros: "See review for previous leg of flight."
Cons: "See review for previous leg of flight."

Cons: "Kayak is a horrible company and not easy to work with. They have screwed me royally and I will say nothing but bad things about them. They should not even be in business the way they have handled my situation including hanging up on me multiple times and changing the rules for flight changes, etc. Saying I am unhappy is an understatement."

Pros: "Everything about this booking was a disaster. Not the least of which is that my bags are still on London and are total travel time will end up being about 24 hours returning."

Cons: "Flight was delayed once we had boarded, so we had to sit at the gate for about 2 hours, which was not the crew's fault of course, however, they could have offered drinks. Once we finally got in the air, they only offered purchasable snacks in a way that was confusing--and did not even come through the cabin with complimentary drinks. Given the circumstances, and the fact the time in our seats was extended by over two hours, there could have been some better service from the actual flight attendants. It should have been clearly stated at the beginning of the flight, and once more when we were in the air, that no complimentary drinks were going to be handed out, and if we wanted anything, we would need to purchase it. I wouldn't have minded purchasing if I had known that was my only option."

Cons: "Flight delayed due to late arrival of aeroplane."

Pros: "Seats were better than the international leg."
Cons: "Everything. Offer at least a drink - all drinks were a charge. Staff was rude. Also they lost our luggage."

Pros: "Quick boarding, kind crew"
Cons: "All food and drinks for a cost. I had to run to make it to my gate which was quite a distance and a shuttle ride away."

Cons: "Transferring to another airline that was “serviced by”. British Airways ended up being 2 hours of stress, confusion and running to our gate. This should be made apparent while booking. Had to go through security 3 times in Toronto."

Pros: "Same comments"
Cons: "Same comments"

Pros: "I liked the variety of movies/television series shows that were available and having USB charger at every seat. Also liked that they gave headphones free of charge as well as pillows and blankets."
Cons: "The seats were fairly narrow and I had the unfortunate luck of having a mechanical box at foot space taking away half of it. (on the previous flight there was no box and foot space was fine). On this journey I was sitting on the aisle being constantly bumped by the crew moving up and down the aisles. I’m not a big person and wasn’t in the aisle however, on the aisle opposite me was a bigger person. The crew were constantly moving to avoid that person and hitting me. Expect tight seating and narrow aisles."

Cons: "Even though all correspondence told me I could check in 24 hours ahead and choose a seat, after repeatedly trying, I gave up. I even called and was told I could do it, but I couldn’t. Because of that, I got a crappy seat. Another man and I stood outside of a bathroom for 15 minutes waiting for someone to come out, and we finally discovered that a flight attendant had locked it from the outside because of turbulence and forgot to open it. My checked bag was tagged with the priority sticker. I had a tight connection to catch a bus once I got to Boston. My bag came out of the carousel exactly 15 minutes after the first bag came out. That’s priority???"

Cons: "Before we boarded this plane we arrived at Aer Lingus for a 2 hour layover. The airport only had a snack bar open and an express bar with only drinks. There was cafes upstairs but that was closed off to hundreds of people with a layover between flights. When asked they said it was closed off by escalater and elevator to all of us. They blocked the escalator with a giant gate sign. People waited in line at a snack for over 20 mins for a bite to eat that was express food or a choice of 5 sandwiches that came hot that actually sucked not worth the money at all. People were pissed! I was looking forward to a nice meal for my layover but that definitely did not happen! They only came around once with drinks on a 6 hour flight, then twice for coffe and tea. When I asked for a sprite they said they ran out of things completely"

Pros: "great on board staff great on ground staff in Dublin"
Cons: "4 month ago where promised a bassinet for lap infant on transcontinental flight which was every time confirmed when calling in prior checking in. Once on the plane were told no bassinets available anymore due to many baby's on board. That was a deception! And a lie! All seats with capabilty for a bassinet were occupied by able healthy adults! There WAS not 1 bassinet on the plane!! Terrible check in staff in Miami...can barely communicate in English (for AER LINGUS!!)...they did not know their own luggage allowance policy...had difficulties to check in a lap infant."

Pros: "Flight was ok."
Cons: "No free food or drink service."

Pros: "The fly from London to new work was very good Very comfortable , there were many empty seats since the Hamburg airport on Sunday had a mayor outage And we were forced to change our fly and stay one more day , the representative on the phone were very helpful! When we contact them to check out fly"
Cons: "We lost a day since we supposed to return on Monday but because the outage we were forced to stay one more day in our hotel at our own expense We had pay for insurance but not sure if was cover at that moment we were tired and frustrated since they block the entry to the airport and we were force to turn around and go back to our hotel witch was hrs away , couldn’t Get nothing near by everything was bucked and all airports around as well The return was very stressful but we enjoy our stay in Germany"

Cons: "The chairs are so uncomfortable!"

Pros: "Cabin crew"
Cons: "Pilot failed to inform us why we were sitting on the tarmac for 40 mins before taking off."

Pros: "Timeliness of flight and service on board."
Cons: "We upgraded 7 travelers for priority boarding. However as we got through check in, 2 of us were told we had to check our carry on. Mind you our carry on was the same size (exact same suitcase) as 2 others in our party who did not have to check in their bags? "Priority Boarding is now only €4.99. Be the first on board to store your cabin bag and relax in your seat before take-off." I believe I am entitled to a refund based on the info on above taken directly from the Aer Lingus website."

Cons: "Free-for-all boarding was less than ideal. Boarding by seat rows as on Boston to Dublin flight would have been better."

Cons: "Missing connecting flight"

Cons: "Let's see... Refused to check my bag because the flight was "over booked". The plane blew an engine on takeoff and then landed in Shannon, IR (150 miles west of Dublin). Once there, the airline had no idea what to do with us passengers (for 4 hours), eventually deciding to put us on buses back to Dublin. Once back there we were offered stand by flights to London, where we could try to find flights back to the U.S. (again, on stand by). When we finally got on another Aer Lingus flight (3 days later), my wife and I were asked for $80 to check a second bag. When we asked the desk agent to wave the fee because of our 1st flight mishap, we were told "Hey, you lived through it, didn't you?". Avoid this airline"

Cons: "Terrible"

Pros: "I had much admiration for the 2 sets of parents of 2 screeching babies who were basking in total oblivion as to the aggravation their little bundles of joy were creating among the 100 other passengers. To be that insensitive to others is quite a feat. What could they have done, you ask? When my children got unruly on flights (very rarely) my wife whisked them off to the bathroom until they were calm. It's what responsible parents do. Not sit and smile at you. And when we reached Munich, we waited more than a half hour for luggage that came in spits and spurts... It was the perfect final flourish to a miserable 12 plus hours on your airline. I'm thrilled at the prospect of my return to LA next week and what surprises may be in store for me!"
Cons: "It was mercifully short..."

Pros: "Dublin airport is cold. Security between plane in correspondance area to crowded and unnecessary."
Cons: "The good part was that I paid for what i received. So anyway why do I complain."

Cons: "Short flight so N/A on food and entertainment. Crew were much nicer and friendly than our first leg of the trip."

Cons: "It was like squeezing everyone into a cattle truck and airport crew double book seats of a few passengers on a full flight so there was confusion on board"

Pros: "I loved the timeliness of the food service, and the options available for beverage service. The selection of movies and music available on the TV screen in the seat back was great, and allowed the time on the long plane ride to pass a little faster. The captain was extremely informative, about our flight path, the wind conditions, weather at our destination, etc. I particularly enjoyed the information he provided, because on some flights, you rarely hear from the person flying the plane."
Cons: "The boarding process was interesting: those that needed assistance and business class 1st (understood), but then front of the plane, back of the plane, and finally the middle. I don't feel this made things go any faster - we still waited in line for quite some time in the jetway. I don't understand having front, back, and middle. Just let all economy get in line, or do something efficient like load the window seats first, the aisle, and for the seats in the middle of the plane, have the middle seats load 1st, and then the aisle seats. Seats got uncomfortable during the flight. Also, the person in front of me reclined ALL the way, so the top of her seat was only a few inches in my face. Most flights I have been on don't allow the seats to recline that far. I could barely get out of my seat to get up and go to the bathroom."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "At Frankfurt Main airport the check in counter had initially only one person and the lines were very long. After about 30 minutes they opened 2 more counters. We were waiting at the gate for the bus and the flight time had passed , but no announcement that the flight is delayed. finally we get on the plane and then we get an announcement that we the plane does not have clearance for another hour and half. The entertainment on board is very very old stuff, and shockingly the food is also bad and no vegetarian food."

Pros: "On time delivery"
Cons: "How many seats can you cram in to an airline cabin? So tightly packed it indicates a base level of disregard by the company for their customers. And nothing offered that didn't cost (no coffee, water...)"

Pros: "Seats comfortable, crew pleasant"
Cons: "My plane was broken, they had no idea when and if we were going fly away. Once the plane was brought to the gate, mechanics had the engine apart inspecting it. Then they caused a fuel spill during fill up which caused the fire trucks to come. This was very discomforting for 300 people waiting for 4+ hours to get on their plane. Once on the plane internet did not work, and my in seat entertainment was rebooting often. I spent 7+ hours at Dublin Airport, sick with a sinus congestion... Plus all the restaurants and shops were closed due to it being after hours of their operation. Last time flying this airline."

Cons: "After booking 2 months in advance to be placed at the LAST ROW next to the toilets? I will think long and hard before booking Aer Lingus."

Pros: "We did arrive early, and safely to our destination. Pilot was informative and efficient. Staff are hit or miss on friendliness and efficiency."
Cons: "Second flight with aer Lingus, second time my baggage has been lost. Phone operators are shockingly rude and unhelpful, and retrieving my luggage is an unnecessary pain. Hopefully this time will be less frustrating than the last one. I'll simply never understand what is so difficult about putting baggage on the flight it is meant to be on; there were at least twenty other people both times that had missing luggage. Food this time was pretty gross, but have never had an issue with it personally before."

Cons: "I can't actually make a comment on the food since u have to pay for it and I didn't want to. Nothing appealed enough to pay for it. Entertainment wise, there was no entertainment so I have it one star"

Pros: "Confort"
Cons: "Too cold"

Cons: "Not even free water"

Pros: "Friendly cabin crew."
Cons: "My baggage is still missing a week after my flight arrived and no news about it. I can't get in touch with anyone from the airline or who can help me. Pretty terrible experience."

Cons: "We arrived at Dublin airport two hours before our flight--as instructed--and had to enter an enormous line. Finally, we were instructed to leave the line after almost an hour and a half and were then informed that our tickets had been sold to someone else (we were bumped!). Aer Lingus tried to "normalize" this by explaining that they always "overbook" by 10%. How irresponsible! Instead of arriving in Paris at 4:30 PM (a direct flight) we had to take a flight to London and then to Paris and arrived at 11 PM exhausted (the bus service to Paris had closed down and we had to take a taxi). We will never fly Aer Lingus again. Aer Lingus created the long line to create this very situation!"

Pros: "I had an aisle seat."
Cons: "There was very little leg room, and no comfort for a tired traveler. This was the last leg coming in from Boston and having a 2 hour layover before continuing. The 2 hour trip seemed longer than the 6 hours it took to get to Dublin. The food service never even asked my row if they wanted to buy drinks/ food, even though my seat neighbor clearly put their tables down in anticipation of getting something to eat/ drink. A set of travelers had difficulty comprehending the rules about sitting in the exit row, and the stewardess was not very helpful, but looked angry and exasperated."

Pros: "check in process was easy"
Cons: "Our 2 carry-on bags were moved to checked in just before we got in. We were told that it was because it was a full flight. So what do I see in the overhead bins? 2 carry ons with "crew" tags. What bulls**t. This was a very good airline 20 years ago. Not anymore"

Pros: "The flight was so short that the food and entertainment part of this survey are. It applicable. They did serve food for purchase though and they had some good choices"

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Are Lingus is non responsive to their customers. When I called them about their change in my schedule, I was on hold for 45 minutes before someone answered the call. I explained my situation that because they changed my flight that I would now have to get a hotel, stay overnight and fly out the next day. They said there was nothing they could do and refused to pay for the hotel or meals that would be incurred as a result of their changing my flight. This was after I explained that I had originally paid more for the tickets on their airline so I would NOT have a long layover. Worst customer service I have ever encountered."

Pros: "Nice, new clean aircraft, excellent meal service, very very friendly crew, top notch the minute we got on plane"
Cons: "Two major problems, when we went to check in, we stood in line and were very rudely told by some German British Airways attendent that we couldn't check in with them and that we needed to go to Aer Lingus, this even though our reservations were through British Airways. Second, despite my efforts over a few months to make seat reservations, my daughter and i were separated. Aer Lingus reps in rome fixed that and I was very, very grateful for that, but when we got to the Dublin/Boston leg of our flight, they couldn't or wouldn 't fix the seating issue. On board the plane though, the flight attendents arranged for my daughter and I to sit together. Really upset me that I didn't know until the very last minute, on the plane, whether I was going to be able to sit next to my child."

Cons: "I remember Aer Lingus being a quality airline that treated passengers well. Now charging for tea and water, and exorbitant fees for bags? Felt like Ryanair. If I want to feel like bottom of the barrel I'll just take them next time!"

Cons: ""Breakfast" sandwich of egg. Also boarding was not by rows from the rear so everyone was blocking everyone else."

Cons: "No free snacks or drinks. I expected at least water and a small snack."

Cons: "The flight was cancelled"

Pros: "Crew was friendly"
Cons: "No entertainment and no snack I don't believe"

Cons: "Our son's luggage did not make it to Barcelona with us. We arrived on Sunday. He was called Monday that a delivery service would bring to him that evening, but they did not show up. They were to come Tuesday morning, Tuesday evening, Wednesday morning and never showed up. He finally had to take a $35.00 cab to airport to get the luggage. NOT a good experience. The Aer Lingus support number just rang and rang, no one picked up for days! My daughter tried the main Aer Lingus connection but they referred us back to the same phone number. NOT good customer service."

Pros: "Crew wonderful.N"
Cons: "None for now."

Pros: "quick entry - but it was not a full flight!"

Pros: "Business class lay flat seats allow sleep. Staff tries to pamper you with good service. Smooth long flight 10hrs40min and flight left 30 min late and still arrived early 40 min."
Cons: "Online checkin requires passport check at airport so you try but cannot print boarding pass. Online would not let me order gluten free vegetarian meal for daughter, but staff at terminal said oh it is too late now, you need 24 hrs notice... on flight though they figured it out and brought her foods she could eat so it worked out ok."

Cons: "Food needs a taster to approve it. Not in the laboratory but on the plane"

Pros: "The pilots gave details of flying conditions and landing conditions. Flight was smooth and on time"

Pros: "Crew was great and movie selection was good. And the food was also good"
Cons: "It was all good!"

Pros: "Friendly"
Cons: "Lost my luggage"

Pros: "Crew was very nice and no surprises while boarding at the gate"
Cons: "You had to pay for snacks or water"

Pros: "Really liked the flight staff.. great service and all very humorous. More room than on most flights and everything was on time"

Pros: "Efficient crew on board"
Cons: "Long lines, late plane, could have started with two ticket people instead of one since plane was already late. Friendly crew though"

Pros: "Service manager Alan and crew were lovely, very friendly and felt genuinely happy to help us. I have never been given so much free stuff on a plane before! The snacks and beverage offerings just kept coming. I enjoyed my warm meal. Entertainment offerings were good, and as we were on a newer plane the technology was better than other flights I’ve been on."
Cons: "Seats could have been a bit more comfortable and roomy, but they were decent and I didn’t have too much trouble sleeping."

Cons: "Could have been on time - 40 minutes late"

Pros: "Very good crew. Friendly. Smiling. Helpful. Short flight. 50 min."

Pros: "Crew very friendly. Decent leg room in economy"

Pros: "nothing"
Cons: "no communication and a few apologies6"

Pros: "Crew was nice"
Cons: "We were about 45 minutes late taking off so it was stressful for all of us that had a connecting flight."

Cons: "Could you refund me 50.00 as your price included bag price but when directed to book I had to add on bags for a further 50.00 and because of this they wouldn’t let me get on an earlier flight on my return sueevans999@hotmail.com or 07799411994 for response"

Pros: "Fruebdjf, courteous and good food."
Cons: "Nothing!"

Pros: "flight was great, safety video and pilots were great. 8/10 would recommend. Was great for the price. Attendants were great."
Cons: "No free beverage or food even on international flight. In the exit seats, there are major pros and cons. The exit row has amazing leg room, but you can’t use your tv screen like other passengers (can’t listen to movies because there is no aux plug and no usb to charge your phone like other passengers)"

Cons: "We were told that those boarding and didn’t need carry on luggage. We went to do so and was told to get in line. When we got in line and up to go on plane, the person (a lady) told us we couldn’t."

Pros: "Overall it was fine. Friendly staff, everything pretty efficient."
Cons: "Truly disappointed to find that BA has decided to charge for ANY beverage whatsoever, even tea. I have such fond memories of flying BA years ago. My husband and I so enjoyed the disposable plastic blue teacups that we brought them home with us and still use them as kitchen scoops all these years later. I know that may seem silly, but even without that nostalgic memory, it just feels SUPER unpleasant to have to pay for the basic (non-alcoholic) beverage service. Honestly, just charge a few bucks extra on the ticket in the first place."

Pros: "Polite crew"
Cons: "Waiting for an hour to disembark"

Pros: "The staff was nice"
Cons: "You've got to pay for a can of ginger ale now? When did British Airways become a budget airline? What a joke. The plain is an old outfitting with flip down screens and whatnot. It's not like we need these things for shorter fights, but why would anyone pay more to fly a nicer airline if you're treated like you're on Ryan Air?"

Cons: "Flight was delayed 30 mins to Dublin and flight was delayed 1 hour back to London. No free meals provided"

Pros: "I appreciated the brand new seats on the aircraft which were quite comfortable, and the friendly crew who actually were nice enough to have a conversation with. Enjoyed the Marks and Spencer’s food too."
Cons: "The boarding at Dublin airport was not great, masses of crowds from every displaced flight due to snow (not all British Airways, many other airlines adding to the crowd). Was not awful but not fun."

Pros: "Nothing I didn’t make the flight"
Cons: "Heathrow security is slower than molasses and rude. They had to check my bags and it took them over an hour. They were condescending and very unprofessional. Also extremely slow."

Cons: "The only complaint I have is our bags getting lost twice. I’m very understanding that these things happen. But for it to happen twice seems like people might be careless to the problem."

Pros: "The flight attendants were great, helpful and polite. The food was delicious and there was planty leg room. A great airline to fly with and I'd highly recommend them."
Cons: "Nothing, all was great."

Pros: "Great staff, ultra professional"

Cons: "Small plane"

Cons: "The change of seats with the motove of keeping balance on the plane"

Cons: "I am 6'3" and I cannot find sufficient leg room. The answer is paying additional for seats with extra leg room, is no answer at all. The answer is quit jamming more seats in to a ever shrinking cabin."

Cons: "the booking stated that it was Aer Lingus. I went to their counter in Terminal 1 and had to wait in two lines before being told that I was in the wrong terminal and I needed to go to the british airways counter to check in. This was a fail."

Pros: "This was a BA codeshare but operated by AerLingus, supposedly a 4* airline."
Cons: "So called 4*"

Pros: "All staff were very helpful and polite"
Cons: "This flight was delayed. When it came to boarding my husband who needs special assistance was first taken to board first but then had to be brought back as refuelling was not done and was then last on board. When we arrived at Heathrow his special assistance was not there and we had to wait for about 10/15 minutes. It is stressful traveling with someone who needs help and even worse when there are delays. We were advised that we could leave the aircraft which we did but we were left waiting in an area without any toilets which is a problem for him"

Pros: "Good to have movies to pass time on lng flight."
Cons: "2 days prior to returnflight I called stating the at was not enough time to catch a flight transfer having to go thru tsa again . B A assurred me I was o.k. ..It was not. A person should not have to physically run and have stress of wait to get thru TSA then run again back, get on train to next plane.Other passengers then said "ou are why we are starting late". It was a transfer off a plane from Ireland not a traffic issue. BA SHOULD HAVE PUT ME ON A LATER FLIGHT. TO SEATTLE."

Cons: "No wifi. No tvs. 1985 just called and they want their no entertainment airplane back. This is 2017.... get with the program!"

Pros: "The snack provided onboard was tasty. The flight attendants took their job seriously."
Cons: "Southwest Airlines style seating with a foldable tray table over a middle seat. Sold as a business class cabin at a high price for an hour and a half flight but we left feeling ripped off. No boarding order and overall chaos boarding. I feel that for the price and being advertised as business class I was taken for a ride so to speak, and not in a good way. This would not qualify as business class on any other airline irregardless of how short the leg was."

Cons: "No food, and no entertainment. An older airplane"

Pros: "Generally I like the staff at BA and they are mostly on time"

Cons: "We are really upset that Aer Lingus and/or Bitish Airways lost our baggeage! All our clothes, toiletries, medicine, and other personal belongings are MIA and we want these two airlines to work together and expedite finding and tertuning our luggage."

Cons: "The metal boxes below the seats mean that the little space allowed to a person is now all the more clipped. My backpack wouldn't even fit under the seat. My knees are already pressed up against the chair in front of me, now there's nowhere for me to stuff my feet even."

Pros: "British Airways offered me a direct flight from Dublin to Philadelphia on their sister carrier American Airlines."

Pros: "The food was surprisingly good"
Cons: "This was an old plane with the cvs in the ceiling and only every 8 or so seats so the entertainment was difficult to see and much needed during a 7 hour flight."

Pros: "British Airways certainly has slipped. Very mediocre service."
Cons: "Didn't tell us if/when we would be eating. I called for a flat attendant twice, with no response. When I pointed this out, she said that she knew they would be coming through the cabin with drinks, so she didn't bother to respond. Just so long as it was easy for her..."

Pros: "Great meals, entertainment options, and service. Perfect landing of the 747 as well."
Cons: "Not the fault of British Airways, but Denver International Airport has a cumbersome and lengthy process for the re-entry of U.S. Citizens. We stood in two different lines for over an hour to be screened for customs."

Pros: "swift boarding allowed for an earlier departure and arrival 30min ahead of scheduled time"
Cons: "I waited 30min at the priority check in queue while being first in line this whole time. There was only one counter open for normal check in and one for priority when I arrived and after 20min waiting, the priority counter closed completely and there was just one counter open remaining, with just 10-15min before the check in closed. We had to wait another 10min to be able to check in our luggage! On arrival, luggage took 45min to just start delivering, completely wiping out the 30min arrival ahead of schedule."

Cons: "This was a connecting flight for us and was delayed causing us to miss our flight home from London to Los Angeles. There were no flights back to Los Angeles until the following morning (18 hours later). We had to stay in a hotel near the airport in the meantime. My boyfriend and I were forced to miss work an additional day causing stress and inconvenience to our lives."

Pros: "Everything was fine."
Cons: "Small seats."

Pros: "The boarding process was better than I expected in such a large plane. There were multiple lanes open to check in at the gate."
Cons: "The crew were not very attentive or polite when asked a question or for help. Then tended to go up and down the aisle with their carts with out stopping or offering anything and if someone asked them for a drink or something they would tell the, they would have to come back. The food on this trip was terrible and not well planned out. They ran out of the meat option for dinner before they were even halfway through the plane. At least 100 people had no food option. What was left was something with a cheese sauce cooked into it so it stunk with the foil was peeled back. I would have preferred the traditional peanut package to that."

Pros: "Cheap, saved me when I was in a pinch, and easy check in. I loved being able to check in on the app and check my own bag!"
Cons: "It was difficult to understand what the flight attendants were saying over the intercom. Between the masks and the intercom, nothing came across well. Please continue to wear masks, but perhaps find a clearer way to communicate for those of us that are hard of hearing. I was too embarrassed to say “what!?” 84 times. It’s not their fault."

Cons: "Less time at the AirPort after landing"

Cons: "No issues"

Cons: "Not being 7 hrs delayed"

Cons: "Plane late, seat uncomfortable, horrible"

Pros: "It was affordable"
Cons: "Customer service"

Pros: "Took off on time"
Cons: "Random seat allocation due to not paying the extra fee?"

Pros: "Service and comfort means ryanair"

Pros: "Ryanair still don’t have enough leg room for taller people. Very uncomfortable. Cheap but not that cheerful if you’re over 6 ft"
Cons: "More leg room or exit seats for taller people"

Pros: "Crew were good considering the difficult situation they found themselves in"
Cons: "Once everyone had boarded we were told we would be on the tarmac for 2 hours before we leave. While we sat there we were told they could not serve us anything while on the ground...even water! When we finally were airborne the crew were overwhelmed with customer orders and not all people got served"

Pros: "Just ok"
Cons: "Nothing to complain, no delays."

Pros: "Seat was fine considering the cost."
Cons: "Ok but i accidentally started queuing in the priority queue and was told that i needed to be in the other queue, even though i was there very early on. I think i should have been allowed to join the other queue at the same spot but went to the back of the other queue. Apart from that it was fine"

Pros: "Perfect timing."
Cons: "Nothing"

Pros: "Online Check-in early"
Cons: "flight takeoff was delayed by an hour. No explanation was given at all"

Pros: "Quick boarding"
Cons: "I didn’t like the fact that there are lots of hidden fees, with the seat, luggage, etc. It is true that the ticket is cheap but paying the hidden fees adds up to the cost."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Seating uncomfortable, don’t even serve water, charge money to check in 3 days early and for some strange reason they charged 100€ for standard carry ones manufactured by Samsonite for international travel because it didn’t fit in their standard cubby ... the same carry ones they allowed from London to Stansted became a tad too big on return . They remind me of US traffic police that start giving tickets on tiny issues st the end of the month to make their quota . Also many people in the line had bags exactly our size"

Pros: "Cheap & Cheerful, as usual"
Cons: "Delayed Boarding Delayed Taxi Delayed dis-embarking (no dispatcher) just two bus drivers and no unloading of cases o those with mobility issues"

Cons: "Having chosen a seat in the emergency exit row, was told that I couldn't use my jacket to cover myself while I slept; I either had to wear it or store it in the overhead locker. I understand that this row needs to be kept clear in case of emergency (as the name indeed suggests), but I don't see much difference between wearing the coat and using it to cover myself. Worse than that though was the way the stewardess communicated this to me with a cold stare. I'm waiting for the day I can write a positive review of a Ryanair flight."

Pros: "It was a stress free journey. Which I will be doing at least 4 more times this year"
Cons: "I cannot think of anything. Except you can't buy duty free cigarettes on the trip anymore"

Pros: "The plane was so empty, we were allowed to change seats so I sat by a window seat and had the whole row to myself! Also, the plane was warmer than usual, which was kinda nice."
Cons: "It was delayed by 40 minutes."

Pros: "I had a good flight either way. Some turbulence, what you might call 'a controlled crash landing' on the way back to Stansted."
Cons: "The price of the flight. I normally am able to secure a return flight for about 100 euros. This time I got a quote for 300 plus for a return flight. Going through an affiliated site helped me to get a slight reduction on the flight. I find it odd that on a Thursday or a Tuesday the cost can be 12.99 pound either way and yet on a weekend this goes up to a silly amount. The flight is still the same. I am still going to the same place. Having to book three months in advance to avail of a cheaper ticket is of no use to me. The girl checking us in on the outward journey had her back to us the entire time when making an announcement for boarding. She looked like she was sucking sour sweets. No friendliness about her at all. Passengers using overhead spaces different to where they are sitting. That's really irritating."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "All"

Pros: "Ryan Air 5.5 hrs Flight Delay from Glasgow, Scotland to Dublin, Ireland (Draft 2.1) Our flight from Glasgow, Scotland to Dublin Ireland on September 22nd with Ryan Air was delayed for 5.5 hrs (165 minutes) for unexplained reasons. We were supposed to depart at 3:25 pm and we actually departed at 8:55 pm when the plane actually began to move from the terminal to the runway. Over the ensuring 5.5 hr. delay there was no plausible reason given by gate staff or the bag check-in staff or the electronic flight board of daily departures in the Glasgow airport. Here is what we heard from all 3 communication sources stated in the previous sentence: • Seven (7) actual time delays of actual flight departure times (electronic flight board) ranging from: 3:25 pm, 4;30 pm; to be scheduled; moved to 5:15 pm; 6:30 pm; 8:00 pm; 9:00 pm; check with the gate. • Waiting for a plane to arrive......... • We have no idea...... • Waiting for a plane and a crew to arrive.... • Corporate is working on finding an available plane...... • I don't know....we will post the details when they are known to us..... The Scottish Times Newspaper (Sept. 21 or 22), reported that Ryan Air had allowed too many pilots to go on vacation at the same time which had made the entire flight schedule prone to long flight delays and numerous flight cancellations. What was reported on the various UK news shows was very different. Their were serious labor issues between Ryan Air's pilots and management, particularly Dennis O'Leary the CEO, over work conditions including pay and job performance. Those of us who read local UK newspapers had an inkling that the pot was boiling. However, as the actual departure delay went beyond the scheduled 3:23 pm, passengers were uneasy about our hotel rooms in our destination cities still being held and whether any drop-off family members should go home or be available if the flight was ultimately cancelled. What made it worse was Ryan Air realized that they were in violation of the European Union flight delay rule so they passed out FLIGHT DELAY POLICY to those waiting in line. The gate crew and the check-in folks outside security told us about having to provide all passengers two (2) free phone calls except that this would mean leaving security at the expected gate and going back to the Ryan Air check-in counter and back through security. A very arduous process one more time. Ryan Air has very arcane booking rules so if I change my checked baggage to a larger size, my only option was to add an additional piece of luggage at a very stiff cost. In our opinion, Ryan Air is a very poorly managed airline and the most customer-combative airline we have ever encountered in our many flights throughout the UK and Europe. Without hesitation, we would not recommend Ryan Air under any circumstances and would be willing to pay more with other carriers who take better care of their customers. [Customer names withheld for privacy reasons - 9/26/2017.]"

Pros: "Cheap"
Cons: "Delay"

Pros: "Low-cost flight. Very affordable. Easy check-in online. Clear policies. Friendly staff. Comfortable flight. Tips: Print out you boarding pass. Pay ahead for check-in or extra luggage. Expect to pay extra if you print your ticket at the airport, pay for luggage at the airport, opt for a reserved seat. Don't expect complimentary snacks and drinks (available for purchase). Their Sky Mall magazine is the entertainment and gets passed out (recommend you bring your own entertainment). These are all necessary to keep these flights very low cost! It is worth it!"

Pros: "The price is very reasonable"
Cons: "You have to be very careful with this airline. Although the price is really inexpensive, if you do NOT follow any of their rules to the letter they charge exorbitant fees that could double your price. Also, the boarding on the tarmac and waiting fior a long time in the sun was miserable. They are constantly trying to sell you things during the flight which is annoying. And not being able to sit together unless you pay more is just plain rude. The many steps up and down to get to the plane with hand carry is hard. I kept thinking if anyone tripped or fell there could be many people badly injured."

Cons: "I felt it ironic that our two smallish rolling duffel bags were not the right parameters to take on board, and just enough over the weight limit to rack up bag charges of about 35 E ea, ea way between Dublin and Glasgow, so actually our luggage charge is more than our set of tickets for this particular trip. No wonder the owner's a billionaire--however, on the positive side, the pilot landed "like butter" in Glasgow AND we heard that the Ryanair owner actually does pay millions in taxes for the good of Ireland. (Sigh...)"

Pros: "Once I was on the plane I fell asleep so it was a good ride."
Cons: "When we got to the airport no one was willing to help me which ended up costing me an extra £100. I was so upset and no one even showed the slightest care. Im never flying ryanair again."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Snobby customer service rep that charged us 15 to print boarding pass when their site was down and would let us view our boarding passes. (When we had previously checked in and seen them online)"

Cons: "Late departure"

Pros: "Everyone was very nice, and the flight was uneventful. Will fly again and learned lesson about luggage fees."
Cons: "Had two bags to check. Paid for two bags in advance. Didn't know there was a total weight allowance across two bags. First bag ate up most of total weight allowance which forced me to pay for the overage on the second bag of €70. I thought I could bump up my second bag to the higher weight class when checking in instead of having to pay the overage charge that was three times as much. Found out during boarding they were checking bags for free...should have done carry on and avoided the extra costs."

Cons: "Gum and candy wrappers stuck in the sides of the seat. Crew spoke poor English. Co-fliers were loud, drunk and unruly."

Pros: "For the price I paid the flight was quick. On time. The staff was really polite and the plane was clean. Definitely would fly with them again on short trips and would recommend them to friends and family."

Cons: "First, I tried to check-in online but their system was down. I outsmarted them because I took several screen shots of different timelines. When I checked-in at their counter, they wanted to charged me €40. The lady wouldnt believe me when I told her that I tried to checkin online for 2 hours but their system was down. That's when I showed her the photo of the screen shot, she called someone on the phone telling him or her of the situation and that I have proof of screenshots. They finally allowed me to check-in with no fee. Second, When I dropped my 3 luggages, they wanted to charge me for my 2 check luggage allowances. I told the lady that I bought online for 3 luggages allowances, but their system only showed that I only bought one. It took several minutes for them to realized that I was right. Third, maybe because of my lack of sleep and tired of travelling for over a month, i left my shoulder bag under the seat of the plane. My fiancee's and my passports as welk.as £500, smart tablet, camera, credit cards, jewelries and other personal belongings were inside my bag. That day was the last day of our 40days vacation. When I got outside of the terminal, that's when I realized that I left my bag on the plane. I went quickly to Ryan air desk but the lady told me that we have to go to the lost item counter and wait for my bag to show up. I waited the whole afternoon at the lost item counter and the lady there told me to just call them and ask if my bag has showed up. When I got to the hotel, I called the airline for rebooking on my flight back to my country. I went back the next day to the airport, but my bag has not showed up at the lost item counter. I was able to get the contact numbers of Ryan air in-charge of this matter. I requested someone to call the person in cbarge, telling him that my bag couldnt be lost because of strict security inside the airport, after a long wait, they finally said they found my bag. I waited 1 hour for Ryan air staff to turn over my bag to the lost item coiunter. When I finally got my bag, there were only £40 left in my bag and a piece of jewelly was missing. I will fly back to my country today and I will file a formal complain with Ryan air as well as write the CEO or President of Ryan air of the way he runs the business. I'm glad I got back our passports but the whole world should know about how Ryan air run their business. PLEASE,.STAY AWAY FROM RYAN AIR."

Pros: "Cheap, efficient, works!"
Cons: "Customer service is just bad. We had to self check in and self drop bag. We intentionally went to a lady to help us she said "this is self check in and you have to do it alone", in the process we had a mistake so she asked "why did you do that, the machine told you not to" - that's exactly how you should NOT treat your customers. We thought our luggage will not arrive - and she was rude and stressing us out. 0/10 for her"

Cons: "The crew had to rush the announcements and introduction because of time restraints, this made it unintelliagable. The safety part was fine"

Pros: "We bought Ryanair because of the great price. However, they do charge extra for everything and fly from an airport that's an hour away from London. If you count all the extra cost Ryanair is far more expensive than any other airline"
Cons: "Price"

Pros: "Cheap, quick, and safe flight."
Cons: "Because the tickets are so cheap, they try to get money out of you at every turn! They charged us $20 each to print our boarding passes at the airport (it wasn't enough to have them on our phones)! They make you pay to check a bag and you have to arrange it ahead of time (cannot ask to do it at the airport). They made a big fuss about the sizes of our bags and threatened to charge up to $55 per bag if they needed to check them at the gate! They have tiny compartments at the gate but our bags fit without any issues on the plane itself."

Cons: "the flight seemed full and therefore, since it was very much delayed, the ground crew set about getting people to check in their carry on bags. I'm not sure why we were chosen, since we were not at the end of the line, and some in front of us and behind us were not asked to check their bags (which were actually larger than ours). In he plane we were unhappy to realize that there was enough space overhead for our bags. Had to wait an extra 20-25 minutes in London after and already very late flight. So: not the best."

Pros: "I liked the fact that my initial ticket was a good value. I liked arriving safely and on time. A Ryanair attendant took me under her wing and made sure I made my flight, without her, I would not have made it. I am thankful for her."
Cons: "Ryanair is not for the uninitiated. Nor for those who don't read the fine print. My baggage fees were not included, nor were the extra heavy baggage fees. My flight change fees were also as much money as my initial ticket. I almost missed my flight because of the extra time required to add in and pay for all of these fees. All told, at the end of the experience, I ended up spending 400% of the cost of my initial ticket. Be wary, be informed, read the fine print, and then be prepared for shamelessly overt marketing, uncaring bored male flight attendants, and a shabby dirty plane covered in cheap vinyl and bill boards. Next time I will pay any price to avoid this experience."

Pros: "The whole process went smoothly"
Cons: "Temperature changes very contrasting. Ok in terminal, boiling hot waiting on staiwell, cool walk to plane."

Pros: "It was short so there wasn't much to do, no screens or anything but that was fine. I thought it was great."
Cons: "I think it was a bit overcrowded. There wasn't a lot of space for people and some had to put their bags at the back of the plane."

Cons: "The cabin was a little dirty."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Ryan air's cold blooded policies"

Cons: "We did not know when we bought the tickets that there is a $45 dollar fee for checking in at the airport. We received a reminder email in our inbox a few hours prior to our flight, but we were already traveling and our WIFI access was limited, so we did not see it. It cost an extra $90 dollars to check in and a bit of stress as we were attempting to check in before the two hour mark using the airport internet that was spotty. We ended up missing our checkin by minutes, and had to pay. It was like being on one of those timed amazing race shows. $90 dollars!!! Won't do that again."

Pros: "Leg room, we sat at the exit row"
Cons: "It was never made clear that there would be extra fees with Ryanair by checking in at the airport. We had no Internet connection in Dublin and therefore no opportunity to check in beforehand online, nor see that these fees would be charged: this is entirely unique to this awful airline. Got stuck with a 45€ fee per person. They also claimed that a tiny meal was included, so we ordered paninis, only to be charged 10€ per sandwich. Ridiculous. And they have the gall to claim to be the "low fare airline"--never again will we fly with Ryanair."

Pros: "Regular stuff. Mostly good."
Cons: "Leg space was littered with pieces of crisps. Perhaps it is cleaned only once a day and not in between flights."

Pros: "Flight out was perfect"
Cons: "I didn't like the 4 hour delay and diversion to Birmingham due to the runway at Stansted!!!"

Pros: "."
Cons: "."

Cons: "It was very late but they never updated the information to show how late or when the flight would be expected. We were held in a tiny room with all other passengers for hours with hardly any ventilation, no bathrooms and no information regarding our flight. It was completely inappropriate for an airline, but it is the norm with ryanair. At least open a window in your cattle boxes prior to boarding. Due to the severe delay in the flight and the 1.5 h queue at customs, I missed the last train from Stansted which was also a huge disappointment."
