Cons: "The seats were cramped, and hard to get out of when the person in front had their seat tilted back, it felt practically in your lap when you were seated."

Cons: "The plane waited 40 minutes for delayed connecting flights to arrive. It's great for some passengers because they don't miss the transatlantic flight, but it causes others to miss their connections on the other end. It added to very stressful deplaning."

Pros: "Amazing - they had a full dinner for a 9:55pm flight, with real silverware, complementary alcohol, for economy passengers! Crew extremely professional and efficient."

I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade""

With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

Cons: "Poor communication between delta, KLM and Air France meant that I couldn’t check in online and get a digital boarding pass. Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

In the mean time, no drinks, no snacks, nothing. So we should depart at 18:00 but it became 19:30. Our first drinks and meal was no earlier then 21:00. The crew should have anticipated better that the technical problem would at least take one hour and give everyone a drink at least."

Cons: "Our flight from Nairobi to Lusaka was cancelled for some reason and we did not find out until we happened to log into the website to double check our itinerary. They automatically rescheduled the flight only giving us 25 minutes to reach our next flight...impossible. so, after calling, we were re-booked again and forced into a 13 hour layover in Amsterdam. Our original flight plan had 4 hours. so, because we are a family of 7 with a baby, we had to buy a hotel room to rest, costing us a lot of extra money we had not planned to spend. We contacted KLM for help with the cost but were rejected. We also lost 5 bags somewhere between Chicago and Lusaka, but after 2 days, we received them."

So they gave me a complimentary Wi-Fi card, but there was no service or wifi available. One flight attendant tried to help and said he would come back. 45 minutes later... he never came back! I pressed the call button to get the flight attendant's attention, and no one came for an hour and a half! They saw the light above my seat, but they just kept walking past me! I raised my hand to get their attention, but they ignored me and walked right past me! I appreciate the fact that they were trying everything they could do to help me out, but when they started ignoring me every time I asked them for help...that was just rude and my anxiety began to rise! Worst flight experience I have ever encountered."

Overall, this flight was a nightmare and a huge let down after flying to Rome on British Airways. I can't say enough about how wonderful that flight was..Aer Lingus was a big disappointment and a poor substitute for BA. Very unsatisfied customer!"

Cons: "We arrived in Toronto from Dublin to get our connecting flight with two very tired children and were told by Air Canada that our connecting flight was never booked by Aer Lingus. We were told that the flight we were supposed to be on was full and there was no flights until the next morning. To top it off Air Canada could not locate our baggage and we were told to wait around and check back every half hour. If was past two in the morning Dublin time and our kids were exhausted and fell esleep in the airport. We could not wait around any longer with exhausted children so we booked a hotel and took our kids there without our luggage. With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

Had similar situations in all my recent TAP flights. Cannot believe is a system problem! Looks like more a TAP policy to short-change (long time, in my case) customers."
