Have your passport ready; it’s requested multiple times! The Rome airport is enormous- not easy to get help answering questions on where to go and how to get to security and gate for boarding. AerLingus at Rome airport is actually on offsite part of terminal. We walked forever to get to our gate “E” then we were put on a bus to shuttle us to where the plane was. Again, more walking- if you have a lot of carry on with you or can’t walk so far it’s a challenge. They need to advise trailers at check in to get to their gate Early to allow for all the extra walking and shuttle time needed.

The flight boarding at Dublin Airport was a negative experience. Another passenger admonished me for cutting in the "B" group line, so further direction on how to proceed in the queue would have been helpful for travellers who are not familiar with Irish airport protocol.

Bring snacks. Double check with the airline that everything is in order. Never go through large airports like Heathrow with any layover that’s less than 3 hours. Small airports are preferred for layover like Dublin or Brussels.

Dublin airport was great for an American due to the American TSA 'precheck' area so we did not have to go through customs in America. Problem though: I wanted to see shops and restaurants in Dublin. An attendent told me there were shops and restaurants after USA Precheck but there really were not. there was ONE overcrowded restaurant with very few food options and there was a duty free shop and that was it. There should be signage allowing people to choose to go to the main airport before doing the USA Precheck and being stuck in this place with few amenities.

Heathrow seems to have a lot of plane traffic so make sure you have a good cushion of time if you have connecting flights. I had a 2 hour layover but ended up having to run to make sure I got to the other gate in time.

Make sure you have enough time on your connection because even though the gate agent in Naples assumed we would not clear customs in Dublin and we would just go gate to gate because we are on Air Lingus the whole way and we would clear customs in Los Angeles, but no, that was not the case we had an hour and 15 minutes and barely made it because it was a long walk off the jet way on a bus to the terminal a long walk until we got to immigration so they did put us through customs in Dublin and then we did not go through customs in Los Angeles.

Hamburg sometimes has an additional passport check between two gates (Cx and Dx) which can take 30min. Take this additional time after security check into consideration.

Avoid Ryanair. The airport is tiny, buy water etc in duty free shops not restaurants they will charge you €5 for water

Baggage checking was very slow over 30min with not a massive queue. Gate was very late to be announced and priority boarding with young child was overlooked due priority boarding queue being so long. Airport is nice with great amenities and facilities in the terminal, but long walks to gates if travelling with a young family.

The check in at Linate are diabolical. I would recommend online check in and carry on baggage only

There were no charge points for phones on the economy seats. The seats were comfortable overall. Food was okay.. flight was on time

It was really nice experience by flying this klm flight.I personally recommend everyone to please try this klm flight

The immigration hall in Amsterdam was understaffed, so passport checking was slower than it should be for a major airport. They need to get the automatic readers up and running for non EU passport holders. Waiting in line after a long flight feels a bit abusive.

Ad experience - been flying many years with them but they are losing out to other carriers with their service and bagage / seating policy. My 2 12-yo kids were not placed with the parent. Absurdity.

Legroom not all it could be, especially when the seat in front is reclined. Otherwise it was good, food and beverage were nice.

It’s chaotic at the bus stop outside of the airport because of the Uber meeting point. You need to be alert and look for the KLM bus which is not branded or labeled. Incorrect information was provided to go to gate 28, when in fact the bus was at gate 27. On the plus side the bus left early and arrived early to Ottawa.

Delay, luggage didn’t arrive. Had to go the next day to collect it

The food from Lagos to Amsterdam was was very poor compared to AMS-YYZ

The flight itself it was great nice food the crew were very nice and helpful, Checking in from Birmingham wasn't great long queues for bag dropped, And I had my hand luggage case taken away from me even though I requested to have it with me as I had breakables items. I was told I can not because of the length of the flight with no explanation at all no options was given for me to take my fragile items out of my case it was taken away with hold buggage I find the staff member who was checking me in very unpleasant !! Can we please be advise if the rules have changed about the the carry on hand luggage it will be easier to be advise on booking your tickect if we not allowed to take the hand luggage with me. Overall I had a good flight .

Amazing KLM service and brilliant economy comfort seats. Well worth the extra.

The food was delicious. There has been a major improvement here in the last few years. Excellent, friendly service. An enjoyable experience.

Crew were professional and responsive. Food was mediocre and breakfast could do with revampinmg

Arriving at Heathrow was a complete disaster because air bridge broke down and it took ages to find spare stairs! Something that I'd kick Heathrow in the shins for, not Finnair - who were great.

The wine was low quality Finnair label stuff in small bottles and only one small bottle each. Embarassinng. A competing airline served me two generous glasses of a nice South African Shiraz from regular wine bottles, a Beck's beer, and a generous Dewar's White Label on the rocks. Cabin service was good and polite, plane interior was beautiful, but cramped.

I booked the flight with Finnair, which made the arrangements for downloading a boarding pass unnecessarily complicated. I wouldn't do that again. Instead I'd book direct with AA.

Flight ok, but me and other two passengers didn’t have connection with the entertainment in our seats. So, no movies, no games, no music… for 9 hours. The crew just told us that there’s nothing they can do but I noticed during the flight that there were empty seats, so they could have offered to us to change seats. Customer service could be better.

Helpful steward. Allowed me to move to some empty seats and I was able to get some sleep. He also had milk for my tea. Americans don’t realise that cream or half and half ruin tea.

The flight was surprisingly good, especially given initial experience. BA app is horrible as is their customer service. Online check in was a horrendous experience and when I phoned their customer service number, the live agent with whom I spoke was rude and dismissive. She did helpfully inform me that their IT people were working on a known problem related to online checkin. However, once she delivered that information, she curtly ended the call before I could suggest that since BA was aware of this, it should be posted on the app and online. I grudgingly flew BA this time - have avoided them for years because of past similar serial bad experiences. While this flight was fine, I’ll return to avoiding them in the future given the hassle experienced and rude personnel.

Even though we had an airline approved car seat they insisted it was too large to fit in the plane. This same car seat has traveled to 18 different countries on at least 12 different airlines, including our initial flight on the smaller of the two aircraft used for our round trip travel. When we attempted to push the issue we were told to either check the seat or we could just stay in Helsinki (our layover location). The reasoning was because the flight was full, even though we occupied all 3 seats on our side of the plane/row. The the flight attendant then had the nerve to come back and make a smart comment about how the 2 year old was just as safe sitting in his seat alone (complete BS, because anyone who has ever tried to get a 2 yr old to sit still without a seat for 2+ hrs knows it is not going to happen).

The staff were helpful and polite, seat was comfortable, plan was clean.

I love flying with them, the long-haul was fantastic. The short flight from Dublin --> Switzerland was horrible though. Most narrow seats I ever had, first and only time in my life I couldn't even close the seatbelt in seat 1A which was very embarrassing so I had to sit in the middle, because that seatbeld was 20cm longer. No idea why seat 1A would have a much shorter belt, it's just ridicilous. Also I hate the fixed seats, way too narrow.

Despite me ordering a gluten-free meal, they had nothing on board. If you have health restrictions, be careful! Otherwise just fine.

The first flight was delayed and left us with a tight connection from Dublin to LAX. We would have made it and only had carry on luggage, however we were turned away and not allowed to go to the gate because they gave our seats away!

I was not permitted to check in online and there was no one at the check in desk at FCO when I arrived, so I could not get to my flight. Did not receive compensation of any kind.

Boarding was messy and the flight was delayed an hour

Food was mediocre, but as expected in economy class on an airline. Wrap was ice cold , my son’s served by a steward on the next aisle was warm . As expected, but at least heat the food up a bit. No frills, but it’s economy. Excellent free WiFi was a bonus

The overall sports experience wasn’t even OK. The fact I canceled when I was on my way to get food at the airport again this was a international flight. I was out of the country and I did have work the next day. It was very inconvenience and very last minute and it was very poorly communicated.

Informed of delay the day of flight resulted in us getting to our destination hours later. Had we been notified earlier plans could have been rearranged. No airline employee could tell us why there was such a delay. Smells of trying to hide the real reason Food was not offered to us. Stewardess walked right passed us offering others drinks and food. I thought on a short flight maybe they paid for it so I didn’t ask. Turns out they should have offered us something Seats were very hard and uncomfortable

Terrible. The flight from Athens was delayed and we missed the connected flight to USA. They will put service was unacceptable, we had insufficient information, and the whole experience was awful.

My luggage was lost and still has not been found. Apparently there is a disconnect between Aer Lingus and American Airlines regarding the transfer of luggage that needs to be corrected.

Had no disruptions or delays. Did not order any food.

I liked almost everything (e.g. ease of booking, price, punctuality, efficiency, friendliness, courtesy). A slam landing in Dublin airport took some of the gloss off it, though. Being able to paste here the text of the review of the same flight that I just wrote for Ryanair would make me feel better about Kayak too.

Take off was great but landing is always with a bump.

Staff were very professional. Much better than the outgoing flight from Dublin. Seat cushions were practically non existent. Making for a very uncomfortable flight.

It's not the staff's fault. The cabin crew do their best but the setup in Stansted Airport by Ryanair is poor. The herding of people like cattle is unacceptable before boarding and is something that's in every airport but only in Stansted have I seen the queueing of passengers outside the plane on the tarmac and the crew only turning up with maybe 5 minutes to depart. This is a resource issue . Yes prices are good but seemingly comes with a price of poor treatment of customers. I'll pay more next time

Flight was fine, crew were good, cabin director spoke far too much; disembarking at Dublin Airport and entry into the terminal building was just dreadful, like entering the back door of a neglected factory building. What an awful impression it must give to first time visitors to Ireland.

Worst experience ever. First time and last time with Ryanair. I'm not a cow.

Didn’t like anything about it we were delayed by 3 hours and sat on the plane when leaving Dublin. On the way back to Dublin we were kept in the plane on tarmac for 4.5 hours. This airline is a joke!

Delayed flight. Received notice from ryanair by email and via app but no such timely information available at airport from monitors or staff

Ryanair is always shite. Slowest boarding possible in the most uncomfortable way. It’s like they are are tad sadistic.

Overall excellent service and Frankfurt Airport was very efficient and clean

Check in could have been a little cheerful rather than dour

Crew was great. Flight was delayed by 2 hours. Seat was not comfortable. Overall experience was mediocre.

Terrible experience. I was stuck in Germany for two full day because your flights can't leave on time. You guys suck!!!

Hated the food. Flew many business class flights on this flight little privacy should be more secluded Staff was great

In this flight was no good it was delay, change of door

In a half empty plane LH put me on the only row in Economy plus were 3 people were sitting. Instead of asking either one of us if we'd like to switch to an empty center row , they moved people from the back to the empty middle rows. In the end I felt cheated because I paid more for my seat and lost out.

Overall good experience, just the delay of 2.5 hrs was a bummer.

Flight comfort was good. However, due to delayed flight, waiting was too much while boarding. Moreover, food choices can be improved as well.

Working outlet at the seat would have made it better
