Top tips for finding cheap flights to Croatia

  • If you want to maximize convenience and take the earliest flight from Dublin to Croatia via Dublin Airport, you might think about lodging close to the airport (DUB). The Radisson Blue Hotel offers accommodations on the airport's grounds. This would save you money on transportation compared to going straight from your house to the airport.
  • The needs of those who have to travel from Dublin to Croatia and who have pets are carefully taken into account on Dublin to Croatia . For instance, before you depart from Dublin Airport, your pet can empty himself in the pet relieving area at the terminal building next to the arrival/baggage claim area. When you arrive at Zagreb Franjo Tuman Airport, your pet can relieve themselves near the parking lots in the arrivals building (ZAG).
  • In addition to SPU, Zagreb Franjo Tuman Airport (ZAG) serves as the destination airport for flights from Dublin to Croatia. The vast majority of travelers prefer to touch down at SPU when flying from Dublin to Croatia. As a result, SPU is busier than ZAG since more flights arrive there each day. Arriving at ZAG has the advantage of faster security clearance and easier luggage retrieval before departure. Because the airport has fewer flights each day than SPU, there are always shorter waits at the baggage claim area and security checks.

First of all we couldn’t check in online, then we learn at the airport we were on stand by for KLM’s mistake of overbooking. The seats were not comfy at all. Our luggage got lost.

Ad experience - been flying many years with them but they are losing out to other carriers with their service and bagage / seating policy. My 2 12-yo kids were not placed with the parent. Absurdity.

Short flight so it was okay. Nice crew, all very pleasant and professional. We were near the back in row 27 so just as we got our drinks, we started our descent so had to drink very quickly!

KLM remains a quality flag carrier airline which maintains its standards whilst all their competitors are lowering theirs.

The baggage drop-off in Stuttgart is bad: after online check-in you cannot use the automated baggage drop off as indicated on the website. You can use the terminals but have to cue to 1 of three open and slowly working counters to drop the bags. took about 45 minutes wait time.

Our first flight was delayed so we missed our connecting flight. However it was easy to book a later flight on their app.

Klm start boarding while somw air issue in the plan

The service was great. However the lounge only gets passing grade

Cabin crew professional, polite and friendly, boarding was seemless, but come on KLM surely you can do better than a pack of cheesy biscuits as an inflight snack

Legroom not all it could be, especially when the seat in front is reclined. Otherwise it was good, food and beverage were nice.

Dear Aer Lingus Customer Care, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent experience on Aer Lingus flight EI53 from Dublin to Seattle on 22/08/2025. Both my wife and I were seated in 15D, 15E directly under a faulty air conditioning unit. Even though the unit was switched off, cold air continued seeping through the sides and blew directly onto us for the entire duration of the flight (over 9 hours). We reported the issue to the cabin crew, but the only attempted solution was placing a piece of food-packaging sticker over the vent. Unsurprisingly, this had no effect. When we pressed further, the crew told us: “It is hard to fix it because we don’t have an engineer on board.” As a result, my wife and I remained exposed to constant cold airflow for the whole flight, and both of us became unwell afterwards, experiencing chills, sore throat and fever at the end of the flight. This has caused significant distress, disrupted our work plans. This experience highlights both a serious maintenance issue and a lack of adequate care for passengers. We therefore request: A full investigation into the defective AC system on this aircraft. An explanation of why no effective remedy (such as reseating us) was provided. Compensation for the illness and disruption caused to both myself and my wife. We ask for a full written response within 28 days. Should this matter not be satisfactorily resolved, we are prepared to escalate the complaint to the Irish Aviation Authority and Commission for Aviation Regulation and other relevant authorities. Thank you for your urgent attention to this matter. Sincerely, Temuujin Tuvshingal Myagmarsuren Ganbold

Seat is business could have been a lot cleaner, but space was nice and seat was comfortable

We had a long delay leaving IOM. No food or drunk service as it is a short flight. Shuttled by bus from terminal to plane with packed in conditions on bus.

The space between seats was reduced even further. Could not even open the tray table fully and got compressed the moment the front guy reclined. For a long haul flight it was extremely uncomfortable.

Not satisfying due to loss Luguage for 4days. Damage Luguage that had no way to fill up a report for and me as a client to spend more money and time to replace it. Thank you for soliciting my opinion, but it was unfortunately a very disappointing experience. Stephanie Zvi

We booked a flight from FCO(Rome) with a stop over at DUB(Dublin) going to JFK. Boarding from Rome was kind of chaotic since the airport I guess is very small and we needed to shuttle to the airplane. The gate agent just let everyone and anyone go without using the sections so that took a lot longer than usual boarding. From drinking to JFk boarding was good and organized. Amazingly the flights was very smooth sailing and we’ve flown American big airplane to small companies before. The aircraft’s itself is on the older side, can’t complain tho because the plane ride wa smooth. For a 3 hour plane ride, nothing was complimentary. But for the longer leg of the plane complimentary snacks, meals and drinks were provided which was great. The food wasn’t bad either. I would fly with them again, great price and good service.

Comfortable trip , flight attendants professional as always. Only complaint was the food, We fly Aer Lingus frequently, this was the first time the quality of the meal was poor.

Delightful flight, ahead of time with a super crew, thanks

I wish Aer Lingus offered free wifi and had power outlets at the seats. Overall, the flight was good. Seat back entertainment had some interesting options. Food and snack options were mediocre at best. I enjoyed the canned red wine.

In business class overhead bins were minuscule. Had to use cabin staff to find a place for my carry-on bag. Boarding process was shambolic, as “passengers who needed assistance in boarding” absorbed an excessive amount of time and attention that Aer Lingus was apparently unprepared for.

Flight was delayed an hour and a half, bags took almost 40 minutes to come out. Flight staff is not welcoming. Lounge food selection is comical. For business class my knees were jammed into the seat in front of me. Airline needs a lot of work

Boarding on a heavy rain outside new airport with bridges.

Boarding on a heavy rain oitside new airport with bridges.

I thought it was good. There's not much you can do for a short flight for entertainment and the comfort was nice.

Boarding was annoying. Just at boarding they changed my bought and extra payed comfort seat for normal economy seat. And on my seat they placed someone else.

We had delayed flight (as usual for Dublin airport!!) for around an hour but the biggest surprise was the seats!! So tight with so tiny leg space. I could barely fit into it. Huge disappointment comparing with other airlines (even Ryanair). Complimentary water and crackers was nice touch but not be able to buy warm food like everywhere else is a joke. Also, on board prices are extortionate (even Ryanair is cheaper. Small can of coke is 4.5 euro!!)I remember times when it was actually lovely to fly with CA. I guess those times are long gone now.

Somewhere between ordering the ticket and the flight my checked bag was dropped and I had to pay more for a bag at the airport. I am very unhappy with your service.

It was great for a short flight - but due to turbulence no service, and there is no entertainment Appreciated leaving and arriving on time!

We payed for the seats and yet were bumped into others. One airbag under the seat was broken and hanging down, which made sitting down quite uncomfortable. Also tore up my stockings. Flight attendant didn't seem to care at all about that.

My comment before for Sarajevo-Zagreb fligh was actually abou flight from Zagreb to Amsterdam.

Welp - they boarded us appropriately...then had us sit on the plane for over two hours before cancelling the flight...which meant another night in Munich. I probably had it a little better than most as over 500 people had to be accommodated/re-booked etc. The next day I boarded the same flight (for which I had now been ticketed 3 straight days) and - with "only" an hour delay, managed to finally get home over 2 days later than scheduled. I haven't flown Lufthansa to Europe in years...and I won't be looking to do so again in the future. To be clear, though, the people I interacted with - flight crew, Service Center, check-in were all professional and courteous - management is clearly to blame for their lack of communication and unpreparedness for when things go wrong.

I ended up in Lufthansa to Zagreb because of our delay

food, movie entertainment upgraded current, interconnecting flights being on time, we have a 24-hour overlay

We paid for business class, and my seat did not work at all. Each time I wanted to adjust the position, an attendant had to come to physically force the seat into its new position. They tried to fix it by fiddling with the electronics (military reset, for example), to no avail. Also, the food was just mediocre. We were at the end of a serving section, so they ran out of several choices. (This was on the flight from Los Angeles to Munich.)

We boarded the plane and waited for 30 minutes ultimately for them to cancel the flight due to engineering issues.

Love the little chocolate bars, and consumer rights in EU regarding stepped refunds when flights are delayed.

Liked - efficiency of boarding with 2 jetways. Checkin was with kiosks with helpful and plentiful workers to help with the process. Munich airport security was very automated, efficient and effective. Free wine and beer! Cons - food was only okay in economy class. Plane bathrooms could have been cleaner.

It wasn’t bad but it was not excellent either. The airlines are trying to save as much money as possible and we are paying price for it. Flying is not as it used to be.

Did not fly HOU to SAT as flight was cancelled.

Amazing! The food was great! Best airline meal ever. The crew was so nice and pleasant.
