When the finally brought drinks, never even asked why the light was on. They also were extremely unfriendly because our incoming flight from Malaga was late . All 4 pieces of luggage missed the flight and in NYC we had to ask for robes to sleep in and tooth brushes. we felt horrible flying the next day. Three pieces of luggage came 2 days later that we had to go back to airport to get. The fourth was delivered one week later with only 3 wheels!"

Cancelations happen but there was no plan in place, to manage such a situation. We were offered no compensation except free chips 5 hours into the wait. Cons: "First of all, the website is laid out in such a way that it's easy to make unnessasarry additional purchases. We ended up purchasing seats at the very back of the plane. We were unable to print our boarding tickets prior to checking in at the airport and after waiting in line for help, were directed to self help computers that we had to pay-to-use. These were not working and after lining up for help several more times (to get change to pump into the computers etc...) and sending off a 'chat help request we finally left and got a different clerk. While this second clerk was telling us we'd have to pay for her help, someone else overheard our challenges and took over from the clerk, printed our boarding tickets at no further charge and got us on our way. While we certainly appreciate the service at the end, it should never have come to that."

Very nasty situation. i think it will be my only Ryanair trip."

Can't help but feel that we were profiled as Americans.traveling."

Found out during boarding they were checking bags for free...should have done carry on and avoided the extra costs."

The worst part is that the person who directed us to the line to get the boarding pass could have at the least mentioned we could save the money and check in on line to save the money. We were in the two hour window of time and would have been able to. We were shifted from line to line to line. Very disappointed. Unfortunately having to pay the 90 euro completely ruined the entire flight."
Cons: "I am a musician traveling with a guitar. The staff was extremely rude and not accomodating when it came to treatment of my instrument. I was not even allowed to attempt to bring my guitar on the plane. I was told it was a full flight but after I was forced drop the guitar and borded the aircraft I not only found that there was ample room in the overhead bins for it but there were some no shows and plenty of extra seating which was used to store luggage too large for the overheads. I asked the flight attendant if I could retrieve my instrument so it could go on the plane and was told no. It is apparently much easier to travel with golf clubs than a musical instrument on Ryanair. Never again."
