|Top route||Phoenix Sky Harbor Intl to Denver Intl|
|Top airport||Denver Intl|
Cons: Beverages other than just water (non-alcoholic).
Pros: Southwest is an excellent airline
Pros: easey going, so issues
Cons: letting us take off our dumb masks
Cons: Flight attendants talked too much
Cons: Informing the people that the flight was full and Covid-19 measures was not in effect.
Cons: Don’t load a full plane only to make everyone wait for 17 connecting passengers. We sat on the plane for over an hour before leaving.
Cons: Flight was completely full, took forever to leave the origin, and arrived more than 1 hour late!
Cons: Wi f i
Cons: Not making middle seats available
Pros: The easiest airline to fly with...
Cons: Some place to charge the phone on the plane . Snacks are not the best.
Pros: Southwest flight crews are always fun and helpful.
Cons: The first leg of our flight was packed - not one empty seat. Understandable in normal times but too close for comfort during COVID. We were offered to rebook, but we needed to travel on that day and there were no other flights available. The second leg of the flight was less crowded. Most middle seats were open.
Cons: Baggage claim
Cons: Bad turbulence
Pros: Flight was smooth, right on time and I didn’t have to to wait for my luggage. It was already coming out on the conveyor by the time I got there.
Pros: had a row to myself
Cons: I greeted the staff as I got on, I wasn't greeted before that though. On top of this we boarded late and then we didn't even make it to San Fran, instead we got to Oak. Now the weather Southwest can't control, but they should have given us payment to be able to make it to our accommodations. I don't have money just lying around to be left at a place I wasn't expecting to be left at and then pay a taxi to get across the bay to my house.
Pros: The condensed boarding in increments of 10
Cons: The flight was completely full! We are in a pandemic. This alone makes me want to fly Delta for their consideration for people’s safety.
Cons: Tell passengers to air in the seats until their two is ready to exit. Don’t crowd in the aisles and try to get off the plan first of you are seated in the back
Cons: Very nice and comfortable flight, my only priority is being able to have legroom and that was available
Pros: everything was great
Cons: everything was great.
Cons: On time please
Cons: The staff was rude, inconsiderate and allowed multiple passengers to sit in a sauna. At one point after multiple people had complained both staff members grabbed jackets and said they were going to turn up the heat because they were cold.
Multiple people stated they were sweating so much they were wet.
Also, social distancing is a joke with southwest.
Cons: Crew did not ensure passengers unloaded row by row and just allowed members in the back to attempt to rush past front row passengers
Pros: Getting home less than 6 hours late.
Cons: Check in procedures made us miss our flight. Many hundreds of people in line in De ver wrapping around the whole upstairs. When we got on the flight we sat for 35 minutes due to lack of ground crew.
Cons: The boarding process is terrible
Pros: The flight was delayed and they did not enforce the rule for everyone to wear masks while on the plane.
Cons: They could make sure that racist anti maskers are not allowed to board and fly when they do no comply with the rules.
Pros: EMpty seats
Cons: WiFi was terrible. Disconnected multiple times from web apps.
Pros: Flights were on time and crew was great. Easy connecting flights.
Cons: Although I purchased the in-flight wifi on the first leg of my journey, my tablet didn't connect properly to the wifi until we were at least 30 minutes into the flight. Luckly, I had downloaded some shows prior to boarding just in case.
Cons: I purchased the in-flight wifi to watch my own entertainment, but the wifi only allowed me to surf the web. I could not use Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, CBS, FOX Now, or play my games.
Pros: Crew was nice
Cons: Wi-Fi was terrible
Cons: You need larger seats
Pros: Really funny flight attendant
Cons: Food options
Cons: I made sure to have enough time from slc to den then to yyc. But flight to Denver got moved back 5 hours or more. Told the ticket person I am taking SWA to Denver so I could still make YYC. She said no problem and made the change but then deleted me to yyc. I just barely made the next flight to yyc after talking to the Denver agent for 20 minutes. All good to yyc and she did great
Cons: Deboarded and boarded 3x. Total shi* show.
Cons: Left on time and got in ten minutes early. Slept the entire way!
Cons: Used southwest to have open middle seats and safer travel due to Covid. Was notified only 2 days before that flights would be full! Too late to rearrange all our travel plans. Other than masks on, the planes and waiting area were crowded. Social distancing was nonexistent and impossible. Did not remotely live up to safety standards we were led to expect while flying during COVID :(
Cons: A on time flight.
Cons: Good mix of snacks but no sodas anymore.
Pros: The covi protocol
Pros: The flight was about half full, so I got my own row. Everyone was great.
Pros: They allowed those on the RDU flight to board before everyone.
Cons: Middle seats weren't empty
Pros: Attendants greeting on plane were nice.
Cons: the attendants did NOT explain to those going on to Dallas that we had to deplane and get back on and then told us that it was a different plane and gate. I could very well have missed the flight. The process was NOT explained whatsoever.
Cons: I wish the staff at ticket counter advise me to take Hawaii approved Covid test at terminal, since my test results were not accepted when I landed in Hawaii. Thanks! Now I have to quarantine for my vacation!
Cons: Free wifi
Pros: The crew was very friendly and courteous
Cons: The amount of time we waited to get our luggage from baggage claim
Pros: The landing was smooth as silk!
Pros: Crew took covid seriously
Cons: The flight was empty enough for ppl to have their own rows
Cons: Everything was fine!!
KEEP MIDDLE SEATS OPEN LONGER, please!
Pros: We left on time and got to our destination early.
Cons: Southwest needs to work on their boarding. If you pay for early bird you should board by number. The way it is now, as long as you fit within the range people board whenever.
Pros: Middle seat open
Pros: great crew
Pros: In flight entertainment
Cons: Boarding process
Pros: I was grateful for the social distancing and the crew was very pleasant.
Pros: I always fly southwest because they are very efficient. Their fleet is the same Boeing 737, and the boarding process is universally the same. Flights are consistently on time and even during this challenging time, they kept the middle seat open on all their flights, a true testament to just how much they really care, especially when so many other airlines are just jamming everyone on the flight because they could careless about anything but their own bottom line. Southwest is the best and they prove it every single time!
Cons: My sunglasses were stolen in the airport, but reporting everything to lost and found did not help because the sunglasses were stolen, meaning someone found them and did not return them to lost and found. They don’t help with crime and even when the theft was reported to police, they did not take advantage of the cameras to see who stole the prescription sunglasses. This was very unfortunate because the person could have been caught in the act.
Cons: Mask NAZIS. Illogical
Pros: They were pleasant.
Marketing itself as a low-cost airline, Southwest Airlines operates predominantly domestic flights within the United States. The airline flies to 41 of the country’s 50 states. Flying to a further 10 countries, there is a focus on Caribbean destinations such as Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Cuba, Aruba and The Bahamas.
All flights are scheduled using a point-to-point system, which is decentralized and relies loosely on the airline’s hubs. In comparison to the hub and spoke system commonly used by major airlines, Southwest Airlines reduces the likelihood of baggage loss and fuel consumption per passenger. With less connections and travel time, you can get to your destination faster.
Unlike most other American airlines, you are allowed 2 checked bags for free with every ticket purchased. Another customer benefit is that there is no change of flight fees, meaning you only need to pay the difference of the cost of the tickets. If you switch to a cheaper flight, a credit is provided for future use.
Videos of Southwest Airlines’ safety announcements have gone viral, with the cabin crew regularly mixing in tasteful humor. As they engage the passengers and build a warm atmosphere, make sure you take your headphones out and listen in. Specific seats are not allocated and customers are free to choose their own seat. Complimentary app messaging is provided so that passengers can use WhatsApp and iMessage during the flight.
The fleet is made up exclusively of Boeing aircraft and has used the 737 family series since 1971. A bold livery featuring a dark blue body and orange and red stripes has become the customary design.
