the only problem was mechanical and who knows if it could've been prevented or not. but the team made sure we were comfortable regardless. it's a quality staff, that despite circumstances did their best to accommodate it's passengers. overall, everyone i met on the ba flight was very friendly and professional.

Probably the worst airport in the western world. Unable to self service check in despite have carry on luggage. Check in was T2. Rude reception at check in. Asked why no self service, he said it was new. Asked when it will be self service and he said it’s new. Asked about lounge and he didn’t know. Asked another counter staff and they were more helpful. Gates entrance at T1 so you have to walk to T1 from T2 for security. Long queues at security. Found out this was because the rather authoritarian and rude security staff decided to only let one person loads bags in to security belt when there was room for 3. Guess he didn’t want to be too overwhelmed. After security, I found the lounge. Clean, reasonable. But you then have to walk back to T2 for the gate. What a faff. Cologne airport could be so much better, it’s just not geared up to international travel. Was hoping to make this a future destination to do business but not now.

Club world worth the extra!
The flight was delayed for more than 5 hours. It was a headache trying to wait for the plane after it got delayed over 4 times. Both Flights took were delayed for 4+ hours... After all the rebooking and navigating around the airport it was a complete hassle

British Airways is consistently fine, in terms of the on-flight service. Heathrow Terminal 5 can be difficult, though that is probably not BA's fault. On the other hand, British Airways' service has routinely been difficult for me the past few years. Indeed, it is a reason why I am considering changing carriers.
I think the casual disregard for booking a seat for my child was pretty awful. Terrible airline, terrible attitude.
Less Layovers needed for connecting flights. 12 hours 40 minutes layover in London was too long, it adds to the fatigue in longer flights.

Me and my wife checked well before time. we were amongst the first to check in. When the flight landed in London our AirTag showed that the luggage is left behind at Toronto. We caught the onward flight and landed at Bangalore, India and are still waiting for delivery of the four pieces of checked in luggage.

2 hour delay with very little information given. Horrible service by BA employees at Heathrow after we missed our connecting flight. Extremely disappointing experience!

I hope to fly with British Airways again in 2024. Staff professional and caring. Great variety of food and better than home-cooked. Plenty of beverages and meal portions generous. Thankful for the schooling, training, expertise of pilots and mechanics, making safe and enjoyable flights to anywhere in the world. Pass on thanks to baggage handlers, those directing flight arrivals to terminals, housekeeping and more.... All positions important that make traveling a joy. Thank you British Airways.
I travel business class because I like to lie flat on the flight and sleep. I achieved that on this flight, and I really do like BA's new cubicles. As regards the rest of the experience however, I could have been in Premium Economy. The lounge was crowded, and the food/ drink in it was nothing special. The in-flight food was also nothing special, and the in-flight service was pretty perfunctory. Sorry, BA - you need to provide a better service. Cheers
