Pros: The wonderful crews and the comfortable seat
Cons: Snack and drink
Pros: Everything good
Cons: The boarding process was horrible. The flight was running late there was no communication until people started screaming at the person behind the counter tell us what the heck is going on. Then they made us walk at least a mile to the plane.
Cons: Provide Atleast water. Seats were terribly uncomfortable. No cushion and barely enough leg room to cross your legs.
Pros: New plane but uncomfortable
Cons: Get beverage and snacks.
Cons: I was delayed for 7 hours. This airline was the worst I have ever travelled with.
Pros: Seats were fine as they were basic accommodations.
Cons: There was a 90 mins delay which would’ve been a little more palatable if I didn’t have 2 small children with me, and if they could have offered us regular updates to plan accordingly such as bathroom breaks and feeding my kids. Having a 3 and 5 year old in tow is already a bit tough but there were no gate agents there to update us, and no one to offer exactly how long the flight would be delayed. All they could offer was they had to do some specialty cleaning since the plane arrived from Mexico. I would imagine they knew it was coming from Mexico so I’m also not quite why Frontier didn’t plan enough of a buffer to accommodate the necessary sanitation guidelines required. We were delayed 90 mins for a 45 mins flight. Then the already beleaguered passengers were restless and started arguing at the back of the plane about deplaning etiquette which I guess should go out the window when flying a budget airline? All in all a pretty poor experience
Pros: Quick efficient
Pros: The pilot managed to land pretty smoothly despite the turbulence.
Cons: Wait time before take off Snacks (at least have coffee or water) Seats were uncomfortable
Pros: Boarding was easy!
Cons: Customer service w crew very rude and extremely inappropriate
Pros: Boarding process was easy
Cons: Check in and fligjt info were bad, check in online was not possible and no customer svc available to assist, neither via phone nor online chat, website constantly out of order... we could only do something at the airport, long line of waiting
Pros: Aircraft was great, new 320 with more silent engines :)
Cons: Little late
Pros: Flight was fine. Drunk unmasked passenger behind me
Cons: Move the drunk passenger in the back where there were empty seats, and monitor him to keep his mask on.
Pros: Flight itself went smoothly and crew was responsive to people's needs
Cons: The check-in process for Frontier is a scam. Initial cost of my flight was $70, but they neglected to inform me of extra charges like carry-on and assigned seating until the time of Check-in, which upped my price to ~$130. Still not the worst price, but it was very scummy that this wasn't just charged upfront. Seats are uncomfortable, which led to many people getting up despite the seatbelt sign being on.
Pros: The flight was delayed by over 2 hours. No explanation and no apology.
Cons: On time flights. I was delayed leaving Denver and returning to Denver. Let’s hope Frontier extends some apologies but knowing they won’t I’m done traveling with them.
Cons: Better prepared crew. Flight delayed due to not having a flight attendants.
Pros: Seat was too sensitive to other passengers movement
Cons: Entertainment, boarding organization
Cons: Flight was delayed almost 24hrs due to no pilots or flight attendees
Cons: The flight was delayed for 1.5 hrs. I missed my connecting flight and no steps were made to correct the issue.
Cons: They took forever and weren’t nice about it! Terrible experience!
Pros: There was nothing redeeming about my flight. We were delayed 2 hours leaving … and I am currently sitting on the runway after we landed because the gate we were supposed to be at was occupied by another plane. This has been almost the worst flying experience of my life. Don’t worry the worst experience was by Frontier as well. Terrible!!!
Cons: Everything could be better. No food. No drinks. Pay for water? Can’t be on time. It’s not worth the price. I might as well just fly first class on a REAL airline. Either figure out how to get in the game or get out! Terrible
Cons: Waiting on the plane for paperwork to be filled out. Over 45 minutes.
Cons: I asked for a bottle of water because i needed to take my meds and I was given the run around and after i payed i Was given the bottle of water followed by we are about to land in half an hour are you sure?? Of course im sure i need to take my meds. I am a veteran and have to take my meds on time.
Pros: Nothing i thought it would be the price but that is not worth the headache to this trip. You pay for what you get.
Cons: Not paying for carryons, having water to drink. Not so many changes and charges. I will never fly with this airline again
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Checking was horrible. It didn't allow the printing of boarding passes so the lines were LONG and SLOW. Staffing not sufficient. After finally checking in and getting through security we realized we had to walk from terminal E to terminal A for the flight...not a short distance. And supposedly only 10 minutes until boarding was completed and doors closed. We raced, not stopping to grab a snack or drink thinking we could get something on the plane since the flight was 3.5 hours. Got to the gate and found this incredibly long line to board. The gate agent ignored those of us who paid for zone 1 boarding and just told everyone to board. We finally boarded and got comfortable, taking off about an hour late. After all that, the flight attendant announced that they had no food or drinks but if anyone wanted a bottle of water it was $2.99. Will never fly Frontier again.
Cons: Flight attendants seem smug and rude Flight was delayed over an hour
Pros: Nice crew and flight was mostly on time.
Cons: I had to pay double my ticket price in hidden fees - very frustrating and unexpected. Also, no drinks/snacks on board and no entertainment.
Pros: Seamless flight. No delays. No lost luggage. Crew was very nice. Obviously its a cheaper airline so no snacks and seats were not the most comfortable but I was looking for a lower price so I expected it. I certainly would fly again with Frontier.
Pros: The flight was only 3 hours?
Cons: Communication about the delays. More attendants working at night & more food/drink options open later.
Focusing predominantly on domestic travel within the United States, Frontier flies to smaller regional locations as well as large cities. Controlling operations from a hub in Denver, the airline reaches more than 105 locations across the United States. Services are also available to international vacation destinations in Mexico, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Canada, and the Dominican Republic.
Frontier operates as an ultra-low-cost carrier with competitive prices and direct single-leg trips. Fares are kept low by sacrificing luxuries, such as in-flight entertainment devices, while meals and drinks can be purchased as extras. It is a subsidiary of IndiGo Partners, which also controls JetSMART, Volaris, and Wizz Air. A codeshare agreement is held with carrier Volaris, expanding the possible connections between Mexico and the United States.
It is possible to sit in either Economy or Stretch (their version of Premium Economy). The chairs are not designed to recline, meaning the person in front of you won’t encroach on your space. Seats in the Stretch section have roughly an extra 5 in of legroom and a large pull-out tray that is ideal for working on a laptop.
Exclusively Airbus aircraft are chosen for the fleet, with Frontier preferring narrow-body jets like the A320 family. One of the most commonly flown models is the A320neo, which has tremendous fuel efficiency and can carry approximately 186 passengers. The planes have distinctive animals painted on the tails and are all unique images. Among the animals featured are rabbits, dolphins, bears, sea otters, and penguins. The names of the characters appear underneath the cockpit windows.
