Cons: We were diverted to a different airport for a reason they said they didn't know. We then sat on a plane for an hour while they figured things out and let people off that wanted to get off. We then switched planes and sat on that plane for another 45 minutes because they missed 3 people who got off the plane earlier so their paperwork was all wrong. I understand that they may not have been all of ryanair's fault, however I feel like they could have handled the situation much better. We ended up getting to Gatwick about 2-2.5 hours late. There were 2 flights that left Dublin after us that got to Gatwick before us. They still never told us what they diverted. However we saw a couple Maintance guys looking under one of the wings the entire time we were there.

By the time we paid for all our bags and did the whole dance of moving items from bag to bag to meet limits, we could have probably picked a better airline and had more comfort. Pros: Boarding was ahead of schedule, but we waited on the runway for a long time. Checking in via an app is great too.

Cons: The seats are uncomfortable, the application of the baggage policy is inflexible & difficult, there are no places to put your things and having seating assigned randomly when you travel with someone is ridiculous. I love discount airlines, but being charged for things that would make me happier while not costing the airline a penny is too far. Ryanair gets your initial business with artificially low rates and then nickle-and-dimes you until you pay at least as much as you would by just going with an honest carrier that charges normal prices up front. I am tired of being messed about when there are equivalently priced carriers that aren't such shysters.

Cons: I was told next time I have to be careful with my carry-on because I'd have to pay £50 otherwise. However, my carry-on is TSA approved, it has a lot of pockets so it may appear to be a bit bigger but I don't overstuff and I've had no issue getting my bag into the overhead bin. Granted, the officer was kind when she said it, but I also measured my bag and weighed it before my flight and I shouldn't feel there should be an issue with my bag. On my return flight I had souvenirs in my bag (meaning more in my SAME bag) and no one said a word about my carry-on.

We booked or flight one day prior to the flight and were shocked to show up at the airport and pay 90 euro to check in at the airport. This is simply a price gouge. I understand a small, nominal fee for this but not 90 euro! That is asinine. I will purposely avoid Ryan Air in the future as this leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

We stayed on the runway for an hour and a half after it was already delayed. Cons: When you pay to book a flight, you assume that you will be able to get on the plane. Not true with Ryan Air - we arrived at the airport and were told we had to pay an additional 45 euro each for a "check-in fee"! Outrageous! We were told "you got an email warning about this", but when I'm traveling I am not online every day, it's wrong to penalize people for this. We were then told "you now have two hours to check in online" but we tried and it didn't work. So we had to pay 180 extra euro, just to be able to check in to a flight we already had bought tickets for. We will never again fly RyanAir if we can help it! The "cheap" flights always seem to find new ways to eventually charge you as much or more than any other normal flight, as a customer I feel like I've been tricked.

Pros: The flight was very late and then the gate information came up almost as the flight was boarding.

Cons: Lack of boarding information

Pros: Short flight so not much to expect

Cons: We were left sit on the runway after landing waiting for a spot to park up

Pros: Airport lounge

Cons: The obvious boredom of cabin crew due probably to poor wages and long hours.

Pros: The price, and that’s it.

Cons: The airline had hidden regulations that if you are a first time customer will cost you way more than you think. Just be carefull

Pros: The service from the flight crew was excellent. On board meals were good, too. Although my luggage never made it on my flight to Chicago due to a delay arriving in Dublin, Aer Lingus provided me with tracking information, and I received my suitcase at my home within 48 hours.

Pros: We arrived to our destinations, and so did our bags. Good! And crew were all friendly.

Cons: But this budget airline feels so in every sense. Boarding is from Tarmac, even coffee or tea costs checked bag, and weight limits are low, boarding is chaotic, no flight entertainment... By the time we paid for all our bags and did the whole dance of moving items from bag to bag to meet limits, we could have probably picked a better airline and had more comfort. They have a policy to charge for musical instruments, and even though there was space, on our return flight we were forced to check it, which we mostly try to avoid for safety of instrument...the way out no issue, the way back we got a stickler. Overall, for single travelers who don't care where you sit and just have a small bag, go for it. Trying to shoehorn a family of four plus instrument led to several up charges and annoying encounters at airport. I'll avoid next time.

Pros: The price was right. ...at least until I figured out that my checked bag cost twice as much as my airfares ticket!

Cons: I think maybe I should have flown on Aer Lingus instead. Next time I will do more research. Absolutely nothing is free on Ryan. The only free thing is your carry on bag. Food, drinks, prearranged seat assignment, etc. all cost money.

Pros: The entertainment system has been upgraded on planes I've flown on recently and is very good. Food is normal airline blah, no better no worse.

Cons: The crew are very fussy. Can't wear headphone on takeoff and landing whereas other airlines allow, They charge for alcohol so the drink service takes twice as long while they collect money/credit cards. Constant, constant, constant announcements. Impossible to watch a movie without some interruption. No, I don't care who is chief flight attendant in business class. Towards the end of the flight, they subject you to a charity video. You have to listen/watch. The inflight entertainment is interrupted (again) for this.

Cons: Poor customer service. I think I said thank you many more times than the flight attendants who barely acknowledged me and seemed annoyed about performing any type of basic service (serving food/water/collecting rubbish/etc.).

Prices are per person, are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in EUR.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car hires can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
