Pros: The price was right. ...at least until I figured out that my checked bag cost twice as much as my airfares ticket!

Cons: I think maybe I should have flown on Aer Lingus instead. Next time I will do more research. Absolutely nothing is free on Ryan. The only free thing is your carry on bag. Food, drinks, prearranged seat assignment, etc. all cost money.

Pros: We arrived to our destinations, and so did our bags. Good! And crew were all friendly.

Cons: But this budget airline feels so in every sense. Boarding is from Tarmac, even coffee or tea costs checked bag, and weight limits are low, boarding is chaotic, no flight entertainment... By the time we paid for all our bags and did the whole dance of moving items from bag to bag to meet limits, we could have probably picked a better airline and had more comfort. They have a policy to charge for musical instruments, and even though there was space, on our return flight we were forced to check it, which we mostly try to avoid for safety of instrument...the way out no issue, the way back we got a stickler. Overall, for single travelers who don't care where you sit and just have a small bag, go for it. Trying to shoehorn a family of four plus instrument led to several up charges and annoying encounters at airport. I'll avoid next time.

Cons: We were diverted to a different airport for a reason they said they didn't know. We then sat on a plane for an hour while they figured things out and let people off that wanted to get off. We then switched planes and sat on that plane for another 45 minutes because they missed 3 people who got off the plane earlier so their paperwork was all wrong. I understand that they may not have been all of ryanair's fault, however I feel like they could have handled the situation much better. We ended up getting to Gatwick about 2-2.5 hours late. There were 2 flights that left Dublin after us that got to Gatwick before us. They still never told us what they diverted. However we saw a couple Maintance guys looking under one of the wings the entire time we were there.

Asking us to sit down for them to see if the engine is working okay. They asked a member of the public who was sat by the wing to keep an ear out for any funny noises. We stayed on the runway for an hour and a half after it was already delayed. Once we set off in fear that the engine might fail again Ryanair didn't even off us a free glass of water to show appreciation for peoples tolerance. It honestly isn't worth the money you save.

However, my carry-on is TSA approved, it has a lot of pockets so it may appear to be a bit bigger but I don't overstuff and I've had no issue getting my bag into the overhead bin. Granted, the officer was kind when she said it, but I also measured my bag and weighed it before my flight and I shouldn't feel there should be an issue with my bag.

Good 6.6

Pros: Gave 1 star for food & entertainment as didn't buy food and of course too short for entertainment Would fly again with Ryan Air if they didn't insist on a printer boarding pass, too difficult.

Cons: Having to print out a boarding pass is almost impossible when travelling as no access to a printer. The check-in area at Dublin as poor signage as I needed to get my booking pass stamped & passports checked The seats didn't recline & because I am not tall the head rest curve pushes my head forward (on most planes) have gap behind neck so very uncomfortable only helped by reclining seat. Boarding messy as no seat order called hence isles blocked, most planes load back seats first keeping isles free, this plane had back & front stair gangways but weren't told.

Cons: For a major carrier in Europe we expected more. Be Be prepared to pay for food and even a drink on a domestic flight. Seats tiny barely any leg room. Crew members appeared to be having a bad day not many welcoming smiles. I guess if you had to budget just pay use one of the other carriers

Pros: The crew on the plane and at the Dublin airport were nice. We haven’t made it to Dubrovnik. Plane from Newark was delayed, we missed our connection, our luggage was misplaced, then they didn’t have another flight until the next day, and they sent us to a hotel that didn’t have any rooms available.

Cons: What couldn’t have? Thanks Aer Lingus.

Pros: The price point.

Cons: Service was terrible, staff was rude. For an international flight they provide you next to nothing. Only 1 meal and soda or water. They didn’t even have coffee or give napkins with the meal. The seats were smaller than usual and uncomfortable. In addition they lost our luggage.

Prices are per person, are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in EUR.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car hires can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
