Cons: "My flight from ORD-DUB arrived late causing us to miss our connecting flight to Madrid. I talked to an agent and they told us we would have to pick up our bags at a different carousel and then go to the ticketing agent for a new flight. 1 ticketing agent+3 hours of waiting = 1 pissed off traveler."
Cons: "Would have been excellent but it was 30mins late"
Cons: "Lost bags"
Pros: "Generally a smooth experience."

Pros: "Seat was fine ! I was very thirsty and no free water.."

Pros: "Surprised it was as good as it was having read so much negative news about what British Airways had become"
Pros: "I was able to sleep the whole way!"
Pros: "When my flight was cancelled due to weather they got me on to another flight right away and I didn’t miss my connection. However I waited in line for an hour and a half, maybe I was lucky because I was near the beginning of the line. There was only one person for awhile helping re route people."
Pros: "Absolutely nothing"
Cons: "Traveling for important business trip. Flight got canceled for “operational issues” and I Never received a notification from the airline or booking agency. I was told I couldn’t get a flight until 24-48 hours later. There were flights available through other airlines, so I asked if they could get me on one of those flights. I then sat on hold for 45 mins to be told that the airline wasn’t responding and the only thing they could do is refund me. I ended up purchasing a new round trip airfare 4 hours before departure which cost me $1000 more than what I paid for my original flights. I was experiencing a lot of anxiety and stress during this period again with no help from the agents. I expect someone to get back to me regarding this and offer some options on how to make this situation right."
Pros: "First experience flying business class -- and Aer Lingus has it down to a science! Great food (maybe too much actually!), friendly attendants, great service -- and the most wonderful pods that allow you to lay out flat for a snooze, complete with duvets and pillows."
Pros: "Overall, a perfectly serviceable "domestic" (i.e. intra-EU) flight."
Cons: "Long check-in line at Aer Lingus desk at Munich Franz Josef Strauss due to one of two check-in agents apparently being late to work. This agent was also brusque to the point of rudeness when checking me in -- and was checking personal messages on her phone during the process."
Pros: "The flight itself was great"
Cons: "The lines to get on the plane were insane. We waited for over an hour to check our bags because the kiosks weren’t working. Our luggage gate closed at 1115 and they waited until 1130 to call us out of the line because it was last call. Then they proceeded to tell us that our luggage may not make it because we didn’t push people out of the way and throw down grandmas? Unorganized."
Pros: "Lights were on for the initial meal but relaxed for light breakfast snack."
Cons: "Cramped space and seats very uncomfortable. Terminal two not great either"
Pros: "Friendly crew, clean and comfortable."
Cons: "Luggage control was a bit off, passengers criss crossing trying to find space. I think the crew could have managed that better."
Pros: "Quick boarding"
Cons: "They lost my luggage. I was with my luggage and personal belongings the whole trip. Received my luggage 2days after returning home."
Pros: "Check in, boarding and flight all great"
Cons: "this flight was unnecessarily delayed. it was possible to have an earlier connection"
Pros: "Service on biz class."
Cons: "Too many boarding / customs lines in Dublin. They dumped all of my toiletries that I had carried across Europe."
Cons: "Why is it not possible to print a boarding pass from a phone? This cannot be an uncommon activity."
Cons: "this wasn't a BA flight.. it was air lingus and it was a disaster. shouldn't have been charged BA rates for this"
Cons: "My issue has more to do with after the flight, than the actual flight. My luggage was lost somehow between Heathrow and Shannon. The lack of communication I received from Aer Lingus, and the length of time it took for me to get the luggage was a bit ridiculous. I was never told what happened to the luggage and I was given the timeline to receive my luggage within 24 hours. Well it took over 48 hours to get the luggage. I was given specific timeframes to call the Shannon Airport Aer Lingus luggage desk, which I followed. Had to leave a message every time, and not once was it returned. The only communication I did get was calling the Shannon Airport directly and working with their employees. I could tell they were frustrated with me, which is completely understandable, because they weren't the appropriate people to communicate with. I was just very disappointed in the customer service."
Pros: "Quick boarding"
Cons: "Slow crew service couldn't get coffee served beyond first 5-6 rows before landing. Crew just putting in time chatting with each other. Couldn't get boarding pass til morning of flight."
Pros: "comfortable flight."
Cons: "no vegetarian options for meal, unless arranged ahead of time...which was not an option."
Pros: "Friendly staff with excellent humour, and an efficiently short flight time."
Pros: "Food is poor!!! The vegetarian meals have no flavor"
Cons: "Ability to choose seats ahead of time was not streamlined."
Cons: "We just returned home to New York from our trip to Amsterdam and Ireland. The trip itself was amazing despite the sub par customer service we received from Aer Lingus that definitely put a damper on our vacation. Our flight on Wed July 19th from NYC to Amsterdam went off without a hitch until we claimed our luggage, my brand new suitcase was covered with stains. Very disappointing but we went on to enjoy our time in Amsterdam. The real problems began when we flew from Amsterdam to Dublin, first we were seated all over the plane and worst of all when we arrived my husband's bag was lost. We went to customer service and completed the paper work. Everything my husband had for the trip was in that bag. Aer Lingus only texted him once and after that he had to call every day to check the status of his bag. Instead of exploring Dublin, we had to spend Sunday shopping to get him clothes for the trip. No word from Aer Lingus. Monday morning July 24 he calls to find the status of his bag. It was found in Amsterdam and was to be flown to Dublin and shipped to our next stop in Kinsale. We arrived Monday evening to find that the bag had not been shipped. Again no word from Aer Lingus. My husband called to find out the status and made arrangements to pick the bag up when we were flying back to NYC. We were happy the bag was found but my husband still was without all of his belongings for our entire trip. On Thursday July 27 we arrived at the airport early to retrieve the bag before we checked in to our flight. We were dismayed to find that there was not a person to talk to but a phone on a column to call to get help retrieving the luggage. There was a queue at the phone with people ahead of us in similar situations. Finally someone came out to escort my husband to get his bag. We were traveling with our son, and again our seats were scattered about the plane. There was no one at checkin to help us, and we didn't get help at the gate. So we had to sit separately for the 6 hour and 30 minute flight. When we claimed our bags, my bag now had tears along with the stains. This was a brand new suitcase and it is now ruined. My husband says he will never fly Aer Lingus again and this was the worst customer service he has had in his life. The customer service was virtually non existent."
Pros: "Short flight to London"
Cons: "There was no boarding pass issued for the Lon - Ny trip. Additionally, when we arrived to London, there was no direct transfer from our landing gate to our departure gate forcing us to have to exit and then reenter. There was no ground avail to assist either. Since the dub - Lon flight was delayed, we have 60 min to get a boarding passes / re renter security / & had to run to the flight which was a mile all with a 2 yr old."
Pros: "Good attention to detail without being in your face... very prompt"
Cons: "Lost my luggage"
Pros: "The price and convenience was great, airline was well kept with minor technology issues. Restroom facilities were well kept and food was adequate (what airline food is really good?) turbulent flight but the pilot did a goood job maneuvering around."
Cons: "The headsets provided for international movies sound quality was very poor.my daughter and I found ourselves using a single prong (airline headsets require two one for each ear)headphones from our phone to listen to movies with only one in. One flight attendant was not pleasant and wound up spilling a full cup of water on my lap, followed by another hitting me with the food cart. I am a frequent traveler so for me this shouldn't sway anyone's opinion on a minor instance."
Pros: "Good movie selection, not bad food,"
Cons: "Flight arrival time, not a fan of the red-eye."
Pros: "I was comfortable enough to fall asleep before takeoff. No long lines or waiting"
Pros: "All was perfect"
Cons: "No food or drinks included; everything was an extra charge."
Pros: "inflight entertainment uptions were good."
Cons: "check-in terrible, website was down, stuck in a window seat for over 9 hours. seats in main cabin are too small."
Cons: "My ticket was somewhat unclear on what airline i was flying to London. I thought it was British Airways when it was really Aer Lingus. Almost missed the flight being in the wrong terminal."
Cons: "They doesn't let me land and they doesn't give money back"
Pros: "Aer lingus was good and helpful"
Cons: "I don't have my bag"
Pros: "The fact that I could charge my i phone..."
Cons: "The lax attitude to service and customer satisfaction there was a problem with the entertainment system, took over an hour to get attention... But no positive resolution..."
Pros: "Friendly personnel. good movie selections."
Cons: "Rather slow to board. No free wine as on many other international flights."
Pros: "Lovely crew, comfortable seats and bang on time."
Cons: "Delayed. Confusion over gates."
Pros: "Seat was all sticky and I had to clean it"
Pros: "Price and efficiency"
Cons: "Well it is a low cost airline, you get what you pay for"
Pros: "Seat not too cramped. We didn't get lost - as BA flight did recently!"
Cons: "Flight was delayed! Info re delay was limited."
Cons: "Late takeoff - late arrival"
Pros: "It was a great flight staff A1 and beautiful flying from knock, hadn't done for years , hot paninis great food better than Emmirates I flew with over the Christmas"
Cons: "have to pay 55 euro’s for checkin .... crew very rude at the desk"
Pros: "I liked that I didn't feel squashed and this is about it."
Cons: "I disliked the fact that our flight was delayed and we weren't notified about it. I disliked that we got told there was a problem with the engine but they didn't allow us to either get off the plane or change plans we just sat there as they ran test after test. Asking us to sit down for them to see if the engine is working okay. They asked a member of the public who was sat by the wing to keep an ear out for any funny noises. We stayed on the runway for an hour and a half after it was already delayed. Once we set off in fear that the engine might fail again Ryanair didn't even off us a free glass of water to show appreciation for peoples tolerance. It honestly isn't worth the money you save."
Pros: "This flight issues were so plentiful they provided me with knowledge on how not to run an airline."
Cons: "5 X delays, Incompetent pilot, No organisation of ground crew 2.5hr late"
Pros: "No frills but got us there safely on time."
Cons: "Had to walk on the Tarmac."
Pros: "Boarding was ahead of schedule, but we waited on the runway for a long time. Checking in via an app is great too."
Cons: "The seats are uncomfortable, the application of the baggage policy is inflexible & difficult, there are no places to put your things and having seating assigned randomly when you travel with someone is ridiculous. I love discount airlines, but being charged for things that would make me happier while not costing the airline a penny is too far. Ryanair gets your initial business with artificially low rates and then nickle-and-dimes you until you pay at least as much as you would by just going with an honest carrier that charges normal prices up front. I am tired of being messed about when there are equivalently priced carriers that aren't such shysters."
Pros: "The price, and that’s it."
Cons: "The airline had hidden regulations that if you are a first time customer will cost you way more than you think. Just be carefull"
Pros: "Loved the speed and efficiency of everything; we arrived from Dublin to Gatwick 25 minutes early. Plenty of opportunity for inflight purchases for such a small flight which was great!"
Pros: "Boarded from gate beside the executive lounge."
Cons: "Ground staff made final boarding call too soon. Had to rush from the lounge only to find no passengers had left the terminal steps to walk to the plane to board."
Cons: "No flight announcement at Dublin airport so missed flight"
Cons: "Very long walk on landing"
Cons: "Customer service"
Pros: "Once boarded it was very smooth"
Cons: "Over 3&a half hours delay was sooooo painful"
Pros: "Cheap as chips and only took an hour instead of 90 mins; happy out!"
Pros: "Ryanair prices are good. You do have to keep in mind to pack light as they do charge for any bag that cannot be brought onto the plane."
Cons: "Would like to have one bag checked for free."
Cons: "Flight was very late.(over 2 hours) Notices not posted timeously No meal tokens offered, or anything else to soften the irritation Boarding and offloading by stairs into the rain - cheapest possible options."
Cons: "Anxiety over the luggage."
Cons: "Uncomfortable seats"
Cons: "Sitting 10 rows from my wife"
Pros: "When I paid for the upgraded priority seat, why did the crew give the seat next to me away for free? Shouldn't he pay just like we had to? She said it was because he has long legs. Well, so does my husband and we paid for that seat in 1-A and 1-B. So, the man who took 1-C proceeded to be rude and rest his arm on mine the entire trip. FAIL!"
Cons: "When I paid for the upgraded priority seat, why did the crew give the seat next to me away for free? Shouldn't he pay just like we had to? She said it was because he has long legs. Well, so does my husband and we paid for that seat in 1-A and 1-B. So, the man who took 1-C proceeded to be rude and rest his arm on mine the entire trip. FAIL!"
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Hard seats"
Pros: "Was cheap"
Cons: "Was very late"
Cons: "The customer service agent was horribly rude. When asked her name, because she wasn't wearing a name tag, she said "Oh, you'd like my name? I'll be sure to write it down for you." I never ended up getting her name, but the way she treated me and my fiancé - as two customers that were very much over paying - was inappropriate and unprofessional. Never again will I fly RyanAir."
Cons: "I was told next time I have to be careful with my carry-on because I'd have to pay £50 otherwise. However, my carry-on is TSA approved, it has a lot of pockets so it may appear to be a bit bigger but I don't overstuff and I've had no issue getting my bag into the overhead bin. Granted, the officer was kind when she said it, but I also measured my bag and weighed it before my flight and I shouldn't feel there should be an issue with my bag. On my return flight I had souvenirs in my bag (meaning more in my SAME bag) and no one said a word about my carry-on."
Pros: "The price"
Cons: "It was uncomfortable It was late"
Cons: "In order to ride the plane, I have to walk outside. It is very cold."
Cons: "Cramped seats did not recline; all drinks, including water, had to be paid for; plane did not have a jet bridge and passengers had to walk up and down stairs to embark and disembark. This airline takes No Frills to an entirely new level."
Pros: "The price was fantastic! the best around :)"
Cons: "There was no notification from cabin crew to advise us to ensure we collect our luggage BEFORE we go through the glass doors at Gatwick. We were expecting to show our passport and collect our luggage from the carrousel but didn't realise until after we went through the glass doors and had to wait over 40 mins for it to be brought to us. What was so astonishing- we were told we weren't the only ones this happened to. It would be very useful if cabin crew made the passengers aware of this to avoid it happening time after time with others/flights"
Pros: "The price is the main reason to fly. It was on time and efficient. Would definitely ride this airline again."
Cons: "Restrictions on baggage made me have to rearrange. Nothing major, just a slight inconvenience."
Pros: "Timings, the plane was fine for the short journey we had."
Cons: "The boarding process and difficulty in hearing the crew member as he had a very strong Eastern European accent"
Pros: "Gave 1 star for food & entertainment as didn't buy food and of course too short for entertainment Would fly again with Ryan Air if they didn't insist on a printer boarding pass, too difficult."
Cons: "Having to print out a boarding pass is almost impossible when travelling as no access to a printer. The check-in area at Dublin as poor signage as I needed to get my booking pass stamped & passports checked The seats didn't recline & because I am not tall the head rest curve pushes my head forward (on most planes) have gap behind neck so very uncomfortable only helped by reclining seat. Boarding messy as no seat order called hence isles blocked, most planes load back seats first keeping isles free, this plane had back & front stair gangways but weren't told."
Pros: "Price - boarding was good, especially considering plane was full."
Cons: "Punctuality - about 40 mins late both ways - I kinda factor that in now!!"
Pros: "The price was right. ...at least until I figured out that my checked bag cost twice as much as my airfares ticket!"
Cons: "I think maybe I should have flown on Aer Lingus instead. Next time I will do more research. Absolutely nothing is free on Ryan. The only free thing is your carry on bag. Food, drinks, prearranged seat assignment, etc. all cost money."
Pros: ", bought a coffee & the male attendant told me how to use it . New filter lid"
Cons: "waiting to take off . Flight boarded early then we sat on plane . 12.50 flight & arrived just before 15.00."
Pros: "Cheap, quick, and safe flight."
Cons: "Because the tickets are so cheap, they try to get money out of you at every turn! They charged us $20 each to print our boarding passes at the airport (it wasn't enough to have them on our phones)! They make you pay to check a bag and you have to arrange it ahead of time (cannot ask to do it at the airport). They made a big fuss about the sizes of our bags and threatened to charge up to $55 per bag if they needed to check them at the gate! They have tiny compartments at the gate but our bags fit without any issues on the plane itself."
Pros: "boarding was on time and no delays on the tarmac"
Cons: "It was way to small, no room. Rough take off and landing"
Pros: "The flight was on time and boarding was quick."
Cons: "No complimentary drinks. But I expected that so it was fine."
Cons: "Everything, especially the employees"
Cons: "Checked our party (two adults and three kids with backpacks) of 5's hand luggage, letting most other single travelers get onboard with hand luggage. What is the point, if you choose not to travel with checked bags and at the gate they still check hand luggage?"
