The rental company address is not the same as Kayak provided. The company forced me to buy their insurance even though I showed them mine with the coverage they wanted.

Worst experience ever, made us pay for their insurance even though we showed them our full coverage insurance. The lady at the front desk was being difficult to just be difficult. No one else had to do everything we did. SUCH A SCAM!!!!!! We thought this would be cheaper than on site at the airport but that’s how they get you! Don’t use them!!!!!!!!!!!

At the time to pick it up these people change me the price 3 times more than what they said at the reservation, then I didn’t get it and they charge me 88 dolllars to canceled when it was clear that I canceled becouse they increase the price crazy. I tried to speak with their supervisor and he threatened me to send me to collection if I don’t pay them the 88 dollars. This company is a full scam, I will never gonna rent a car there again

Routes is a scam. They required me to present proof of insurance to avoid a $250 add on at the counter when my reservation said cost should have been $85. I called kayak, and they didn’t do anything about it. Never again.

Car was dirty on the inside weird smell. Outside was all damaged. Thankfully I took a video before. When. I dropped the car off the guy tried to say I hit the car. He changed his story when I showed him a video when I picked the car up.

Was in a booth video over an hour.. only one live employee on site. still wanted to charge another $67 on top of the payment I already made in full. I cancelled the agreement with no car and an hour wasted. My wife was waiting for me and said she never seen one happy person leaving routes. Had to order an Uber for a pick-up. Thought the Hyundai was our ride, but no.. another customer returning his vehicle after just leaving with troubles. No refund given. PLEASE save yourself and go elsewhere. The live video agent was a very nice lady, but she needs to work for a reputable company.

Renting a car from Routes was the worst experience I've ever encountered, and other customers felt the same. I came prepared with my insurance declaration page, but they still charged more than the initial rental rate, claiming my deductible was too high. Apparently, they add collision and comprehensive deductibles together, and if both are over $1,000, they require a "waiver of deductible", which costs more than the car rental. To make matters worse, customers were waiting over an hour to be given a key and their car.
