Cons:Charged us per mile driven on top of what was paid through Kayak, was never notified there would be an additional charge. Staff at counter was extremely rude when we tried to ask about the $44 cost difference (paid $88 up front, was billed $122). On top of that, the "courtesy" shuttle was awful, waited 30 mins in the parking lot before going to the airport (a 10 min drive at Denver) and we consequently had to sprint through the airport, with an infant, to catch the flight. Barely made the plane, bags of course didn't make it.
Cons:The staff tried to charge me an outrageous amount of money for insurance, even though I told them that my credit card covers total lost. I was very disappointed and end up not renting the car here, so I went back to the airport with my wife, two children and parents and tons of luggage. At the airport we were not allow to go in where all the car rental companies are. It was a very stressful moment. At the end airport security allow me to speak with one company representative of my choosing. I asked to speak with someone from AVIS and end up renting car here at a price a bit more than fire fly but no charge for insurance.
Pros:Headline hire charge was great
Cons:$5000 excess in the event of an accident meant that the additional insurance was highly desirable, which brought the cost up to about that applying to themajor firms
Pros:Car performed well and had no issues during the week hire. Staff were doing well for working understaffed and working in stressful conditions.
Cons:Long wait for pick up due to being understaffed. Car had not been cleaned, made me a bit worried if it had been checked mechanically. Drop off was a lot better but still only one person working the desk and driving the van . Had ordered a Ford C max but ended up with a Volvo D2... good bit smaller for luggage.
Pros:New car, quick and friendly service plus got an upgrade.
Cons:Car had quite a few scratches and many were not marked at first. Recommend you always check the car again before leaving the car park.
Pros:Shared facilities (and vehicles) with Hertz at LHR, so although busy queue was fairly efficient, and return took under 60s... At LHR there is a transfer bus to the rental zone but this came quick and the driver was helpful. No hard sell on fuel insurance etc., but I could see several less experienced renters being given the spiel.
Cons:Rate was good via broker and car exceeded my expectations, was maybe even an slight upgrade.
Pros:At airport, being Jan was quiet so quick pick up.
Cons:Usual hard sell of extras.

Cons:Office wasn't open when it was supposed to be. I had to rent from another provider at a substantial extra cost.

Cons:Arrived in Malaga after midnight as planned, the counter staff were so slow that it took over an hour to get the car and then I was informed that as pick up was after midnight there would be an additional €44 charge, the whole rental was only €76. What a disgrace.
Pros:Nice.Easy.Go! The car which i rented is clean,comfortable & Smooth. Good maintainance! I will definitely come back again to Firefly for a rent. Thank You!
