Pros:cost. drop off was smooth
Cons:We had just rented a car from Budget and returned it on a Wednesday. We were back that Saturday for another rental car. The office said we had to have another notice from my credit card company saying that it covered the car in Ireland because that notice had to be sent to them 48 hours in advance of picking up the car, rather than when we had sent it to them to pick up the first car. I had to return the next day with that paperwork for them. Very inconvenient. The time was incorrect on the car and we couldn't figure out how to fix that. The heat was always on as well and we couldn't figure out how to turn it off. The car screeched as well. I agree with other reviewers that reviewing the features of the car would be helpful. I also agree with another reviewer on October 15 and gave the review a 2.8. It looks like I rented that same car the first time I rented from Budget on this trip and the clutch gave out entirely and we were stuck from 7 pm until midnight until they could send out someone to verify that indeed it was a mechanical failure and not me so that I didn't have to pay for it and only then did they call for a tow and work out giving me another car the next morning. This mechanical failure entirely set back my vacation plans as we could not see what we wanted because the car wouldn't work. Budget needs to have mechanics drive the cars once they are returned to make sure they are working properly before sending them out again.

Some Killarney car providers already include Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Theft Protection Waiver into the hire price but not all of them. We recommend always be aware of your coverage when hiring a car in Killarney.
Keep in mind that car hire insurances often have a deductible clause, which is the amount you’ll have to pay if something happens during the time of your hire. If you want to avoid unwanted surprises, you should consider adding a no-deductible option to your Killarney car hire.
