Cons:Lots of additional fees added up to way more than expected, in the end it totalled way way more than the advertised rate. Def wasn't for those on a budget. They automatically charged me for a full tank when I brought it back with a bit more than half a tank and I had to bring it to their attention and ask for a refund. Had I not gone into the office because the person in the lot's machine was broken, I would have been overcharged. I also had to double check the bill. Felt like an attempt to squeeze even more out of me.
Pros:Service was quick and easy.
Cons:Due to police harassment of tourists, identifying them by the rental decal on the car and personal appearance, I turned in my car after one day, rather than keeping it for my entire 10-day visit. I was stopped for no reason within 2 miles of the airport the day I rented the car. I was able to persuade the officer not to ticket me, pleading that I had only picked up the car five minutes before (he claimed I had "illegally changed lanes," a favorite, unproveable local police charge). I confirmed later that day with local friends that police harassment in search of bribes was now rampant in the country. I returned the car as soon as possible and plan never again to rent a car in Nicaragua.
Pros:Staff was helpful, car was clean
Cons:The check in process was pretty long, I was quoted 30 minutes and it took closer to an hour an half. The car pricing was also never broken down to me and the receipt wasn't itemized so I am not sure what I was paying for. The price was different than the price I paid online so I'm not sure what the extra fees were. The price could have been warranted but I wish the receipt would tell me what I was paying for.
Pros:Car was clean and new.
Cons:Long line for pickup and drop off.
Pros:Slow leak in tire addressed fast with roadside, but car had to be exchanged.
Cons:Offsite location at PDX; bus driver was great. Car seat was defective with a cut strap.

Pros:they had very long lines. my reserved car was not ready. after two hours I finally received a car, missing my first meeting. apparently if I would have upgraded for $40 I could have received a car sooner. even when I returned the car there was a line I had to wait in. this was the worse rental company I have ever used!
Pros:Car was reliable.
Cons:This rental was advertised with an absurdly low base rate ($7/day) but ended up costing more than $300 for a 3-day rental. The surcharges lacked transparency— we wouldn’t have estimated the final bill until it was handed to us.
Pros:Off the train, through the rental counter, in my car and on the road. The process couldn't be easier and the staff couldn't be friendlier.
Pros:The car had good fuel economy.
Cons:I've never had such a disgusting and unpleasant driving experience. The vehicle I drove smelled like an unkempt motel ashtray. Ironically, the window sticker indicated that smoking was strictly prohibited in the vehicle and violations are subject to $250 fine. I cannot imagine how many packs of cigarettes must have been burnt through to completely infuse the odor of disgusting, acrid second-hand smoke into every surface of the car. Drivers wheel left my hands smelling like I spent the day playing with cigarette butts.
