Pros: Crew was friendly, booked seat was good.
Cons: I travel very light, was finishing up a 14 day trip around the world, couldn’t check-in online. Tried a number of options. When arriving at airport - my checked bag was a total of 12kg, but was told if I planned to bring it home with me that I had to pay $100 bag fee. I realize that airlines charge bag fees - however, I was unaware in advance, booking from Lhr to FLL with layover in Oslo.
Cons: A little bit chaotic when they loaded two planes at the same time in a very tight space in Amsterdsm but this was most likey an airport soecific design issue and not a KLM issue. The flight was as good as can be expected fir an international flight. The staff was great
Pros: Crew was extremely friendly as expected from Cathay. The aircraft was substituted from the scheduled A350-800 to an A330 but it still had lie flat seats, just not as nice. The crew was very apologetic for the last minute schedule change.
Cons: Nothing can be done about the aircraft swap, I’m happy they swapped with an aircraft with lie flat seats as I was exhausted and needed the rest before landing in HKG.
Pros: Crew was very warm and friendly
Cons: The experience in the Frankfurt airport was terrible! We had arrived from Rome with an hour between landing and boarding. When we were directed to security at Gate Z, there was a huge mob of people, not really in lines. We didn’t know what we were waiting for or where to stand, but we and others around us were very worried about missing our next flight. There was no Lufthansa representative to help. Finally someone directed some of us to a long roundabout back way to Gate Z security. We did get to our gate in time for boarding, only because it had been delayed. Then we sat in the plane for over half an hour. Altogether, it took off more than an hour late, so we missed our flight from Chicago to Minneapolis.
Cons: Had serious and consistent blockage to receive seat assignment from AAirlines. Round trip ticket with JAL but they code shared lax to tokyo with AA. Later AA refused to let me change THEIR seat assignment (3 scattered middle seats in economy). unless I bought an upgrade. They also said tic
We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.
We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.
Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car hires can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.
