Pros: Great flight
Cons: Everything!
Pros: Nothing, except I got to my destination safely
Cons: Everything. They don’t ever offer you WATER in a 10 hour flight!!
Check in crew rude. Attends dismissive to rude.
Pros: Crew was acceptable but sits terrible
Cons: Not a comfy flight
Pros: Premium seats and service make flying so much more comfortable.
Cons: Boarding and leaving on time.
Pros: I can’t travels
Cons: Norwegian was unwilling to refund flight to and from Rome in the height of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Pros: I made it to my destination
Cons: I have never got in almost 13 hours of flight and was not even offered glass of water or any food!!!
Norwegian flights are not providing any beverages or food and when I asked they told me I should have added food options on my booking????
That’s the most unbelievably weirdest and inhuman flight I have ever took.
Will definitely make sure not to do same mistake ever again!
Cons: Everything
Pros: Value for money
Cons: Boarding process really needs to improve. There is usually a chaos during boarding
Pros: It got me to my destination. Nothing else to like.
Cons: Boarding was a circus. The most disorganized I’ve seen. Price-gouging at every turn. Cramped uncomfortable seats. And of course the nonstop screaming infant.
Pros: Price
Staff
Cons: More food choices (vegetarian)
Pros: Nothing
Cons: If I was allowed onto my flight. My previous flight on AirEuropa was overbooked, I didn’t get a seat, and they put me on the next flight out. With the delay I didn’t get to the check in window till approximately 55 minutes before departure. Norwegian wouldn’t even let me check in. They said boarding had already stopped and the flight was closed. Sent me to the sales rep where I was told my only option was to switch to the same flight the following day, but that would cost me an additional 630€. I ended up stuck in Barcelona overnight and found a cheaper flight home with British Airways/American Airlines.
Pros: Staff at Rome was great. Crew was excellent. Plane was magnificent.
Cons: Jet was ancient and entertainment system was a joke
Cons: Flight delayed and gate 9 in terminal 1 at JFK is a nightmare. It’s in the corner and you can’t hear any announcements at all. Horrible place.
Cons: Service at CheckIn was the worst I've ever received. The staff exuded no compassion, empathy or interest in trying to help me. I had to buy an extra checked bag and instead of giving my options clearly, they gave me a run around (do it online, call our customer service, refund your ticket at our service desk - all false). I did not appreciate that lack of competence or interest and as such will not be transacting business with Norwegian again.
Furthermore, the crew on the airplane did not check on me or my row of passengers the entire flight. No water, no cookies, nothing!
This was the worst display of airline service I ever seen!
Cons: Easy checkin
Good customer service
Comfortable seats
Great price
Pros: Boeing Dreamliner was amazing. Very comfortable even in economy. Boarding very easy. We left and arrived exactly on time.
Cons: You have to buy your own food and drinks. Priced on the high side. Bring your own sandwich and drinks.
Pros: Crew was good, Seating needs to be updated
Cons: seats could recline better and padding could be better.
Pros: The last time I purchased a flight with them it was canceled. No previous notice . No solution . They wouldn't even answer the phone .
Pros: We landed safely.
Cons: The operating flight was changed and our seat were downgraded. Given that it was a birthday trip i wanted my fiancée to be as comfortable as possible. Instead she was stuck in a middle seat between two crying babies with no outlets to to charge our phones for entertainment. Additionally I was notified that I cannot be refunded until after the flight has landed. So technically Norwegian still has my money and I paid top dollar for a less than average experience. Unacceptable.
Cons: Need food upgrade !!!!
Paying for food and not available or sold out is big No No!!!
Pros: On a long haul flight, when I bought my ticket, Kayak advertised entertainment on my long haul flights. There was none on this flight! Seata were extremely uncomfortable.
Cons: Stop misleading passengers to make money
Pros: Getting from a to b to c
Cons: Everything from service, food, comfort and punctuality.......
Cons: Ya opine
Pros: The entertainment was actually great. Literally everything else was terrible.
Cons: It was the most uncomfortable flight ever. No water served and no refreshments served at all on the 9 hr flight.
Cons: It will be nice if economy class get at least a bottle of water!
Cons: Superstrict baggage policy!!! Cramped seating. No free food or water!
Pros: Not much
Cons: Norwegian used an extremely old Wamos A320 aircraft instead of one of their own 787s. The seats were not only uncomfortable, but also so tightly arranged that my knees touched the back of the front seat, and I am an average 6 feet tall. Inflight entertainment options were available only through the Wamos app, which could not be downloaded on the plane (and Norwegian had not mentioned during check in). Unless for people with pre-ordered food, it was not possible to buy even water until about 3 1/2 hours into the flight. The flight to BCN on a Norwegian plane was okay, but the prospect of another such return experience makes it very questionable to book this airline again.
Cons: More nice crew. TV on the plane
Pros: Wifi and the nice crew
Cons: The food option
Pros: The best flight i have ever been on
Pros: Crew was friendly and efficient.
Cons: Seats were pretty uncomfortable.
Pros: Great crew. My first time in Premium Economy & it was fantastic. I was actually able to sleep on an overnight flight.
Cons: Food was eh but what do you expect? Airline food is airline food. Otherwise - a great trip.
Cons: Premium cabin service and amenities very poor. No snacks available with premium ticket. Also no socks or hygiene products typically available on other business class flights. Will not fly Norwegian again.
Pros: nothing particularly good—-getting off the plane was a va relief
Cons: due to my seating, i was freezing...i had to buy my own blanket for 5 euros and this was no be more than a sheet!
Pros: This was the strange not being able to buy crew just ignores you because you’re not part of the club bought a head of time. I had no idea
Cons: Should make it very clear that you have to order food ahead of time! I did not know this and had to go nine hours without food or water!!!!
Cons: Horrible and unprofessional check in process, by time of boarding more than half of passengers had not gone through security yet due to their delays. The machine and website weren’t working so everyone had to check in via the desks.
Cons: Nothing was included
Cons: No food or water was offered. Had to stop for water . Barely any selection of movies
Cons: Seats did not recline
Pros: The ticket was affordable
Cons: The baggage rules are dubious at best.
Pros: This was a cut-price flight. Considering what we paid, the flight was amazing value for money. The plane was new. There was plenty of overhead space. The seat pitch was adequate. We took our own food. We slept for most of the flight. We arrived on time. If Norwegian can continue to keep the price low, I'll happily choose to fly with them again.
Cons: A free soft drink and nibbles would have been nice, though hardly necessary.
Cons: It would be great if they had free drinks and snacks
Pros: The first of a 2-leg trip (Krabi-Oslo) went great. Boarding was orderly and timely, left pretty much on time. Seats were surprisingly comfortable and roomy.
Cons: The second leg (Oslo-JFK) however was a completely different story. The airline dropped the ball in so many ways here. 45 minutes past departure time and they are still boarding people. This was mostly do to the gate agents arbitrarily forcing people to needlessly check bags that would have been fine on board (while simultaneously forcing them to pay for checking thos bags, unbelievable money-grab on the part of the airline). Flight crew made no announcements whatsoever on the delay until 30 minutes past departure time. As an obvious result, bags then took a tremendous amount of time to arrive at claim.
Pros: Movies and tv were nice.
Cons: Wifi was so slow i gave up on it and just watched a movie. I flew 10 hours, nothing complimentary. Greedy
Cons: Free water would be nice!
Cons: Water should be free on the flight
Pros: Crew is outstanding !
Cons: Food ?
Pros: Great service, love being able to order food and drinks from the in seat computer.
Cons: Nothing really.
Cons: This was my first trip to Europe and I was a bit nervous about the experience, I've been on plenty of planes, however, about nothing like this. Norwegian Airlines is the worst experience I have ever had on a plane or any mode of transportation. We were running to the terminal because they only announced that they had last call, and we were eating. When we got there, they pulled my fiancee aside to weigh her bags (mind you this is about 5 mins before the plane is about the leave). I'm waiting inside of the airway for her and they spot me and pull me back out to weigh my bag. The guy was shady, he pulled on my bag as it was on the hand scale and said it was 3 kg overweight. I told him it's not, I weighed it myself, so he weighs it again and say "sorry, I meant it is 4kg overweight" he said that it is 15 dollars per kg, unless I want to leave stuff here. I looked at him and he just stared at me until I gave him my credit card. $60!! That's ridiculous, especially considering I bought a hand weight just for this occasion. My fiancee had to pay $90!! And just to top it off, they wouldn't give her passport, she had to ask for it back. Also, if you dont purchase a food plan before hand you have to buy it on the plan. They dont even offer peanuts. This airline will nickel and dime you for everything. Better off with another airline if you are traveling abroad. You'll end up paying the same, but will have better service. Never again will I fly Norwegian
Pros: New Boeing 787. Nice aircraft
Cons: Norwegian Air operated its international flight like a budget airline. I have never been on a flight where no food or drink was even offered. We had to ask for water 4 times before one of the attendants brought over half a glass. We ended up buying food and drinks since no meals were served the entire way. It is very dangerous to limit the amount of water patrons drink on the flight. Nothing else was provided. Headphones, blanket, pillow were all extra. Lastly, they do not allow online check in for travelers from the USA. As a result, we were forced to pay 80 euro for each checked bag at the counter!!! We will never fly or recommend Norwegian Air ever again.
Cons: Online check in could be available immediately. I don't want to waste long time just for check in when I don't have luggages to pay. You could save time too many people.
Pros: The plane itself was beautiful and the seatback entertainment was serviceable.
Cons: Boarding was an hour late for no discernible reason, food for a nine hour flight was for pay only at about eight dollars a sandwich, crew was rude, and seats were very uncomfortable and close.
I would never fly this airline again and will tell my friends to avoid it.
Pros: Non-stop price and service
Cons: Difficulty in request information on changing flight
Went back in forth between Kayak and Norwegian til I give up.
Pros: Seat comfort , modern plane
Cons: The boarding process was ridiculously disorganized . People were not boarding according to their group numbers and there were many unnecessary delays / hold ups .
My baggage was lost for over 4 days (it still hasn’t arrived on October 24. I landed on October 20). With little to no communication on it status or refund on all the baggage fees I was made to pay. While the crew was pleasant , price point attractive and plane modern, These factors are enough to deter me from choosing this airline in the future
Cons: Delays with little explanation of what was going on. Loaded the bus, the unloaded. Should have just had us wait
Pros: Customer service was horrible in Rome
Cons: Train people and dont give people our seats even when we paid for them
Since first opening a primary base in Bergen, Norwegian has developed a wide-spanning network of hubs across the world. Aiding its ability to offer a variety of international services, the airline has hubs in Barcelona, Copenhagen, Helsinki, London, Los Angeles, Madrid, New York, Paris, Rom and Stockholm, among others. Flights are available to more than 35 countries in Europe, North America, South America, Asia, North Africa and the Middle East.
Due in large part to its substantial coverage of operating hubs, the airline is able to schedule direct services at a low-cost. Onboard amenities, such as food and drinks, are minimized to reduce the price of the standard fare. Norwegian has several subsidiaries that sit underneath it, including a long haul division and carriers in targeted markets, such as the United Kingdom, Argentina and Sweden.
Boeing has been chosen as the preferred manufacturer for the fleet, with the 737 Next Generation series most commonly flown. The distinctive aircraft are easily spotted with their red noses and faces of influential figures on the tail.
Unlike the majority of airlines, Norwegian provides Wi-Fi access for free. Low data activities, such as web browsing and messaging, is available as part of the complimentary service, while streaming and app use requires an upgrade. Shorter flights and those within Europe offer only Economy seating; however, Flex fares provide seat selection and checked baggage. International long haul flights to or from the United States or South America provide the option of sitting in a Premium cabin. Seats in Premium have at least 43 in of legroom and serve a 3-course dinner.
