It was ok. Jet was ok but it lacked many convinces we have experienced on other airlines such as in seat entertainment. Space seamed more compact than other airlines. They did not provide the gate to gate assistance we arranged for for our mom who needed a wheel chair.
Good flight. We were all boarded in good time for departure time but baggage loading had barely begun. So left late. No food just snacks and basic drinks for free (food also for purchase). No entertainment as again, unable to connect with wifi on WestJet despite being a rewards member.
For some reason pretty much all zones were called almost one after the other and we all ended up standing without moving for what seemed like a long time. Definitely not WestJet’s fault. Likely the guys in hiviz vests at boarding desk. The big problem was zero explanation. If there is a good reason for something people will understand. As a consequence of this delay flight was quite late leaving. Zero entertainment on board. I’m a Rewards member but was unable to connect to the Wifi. First world problems, I know. Flight was otherwise excellent.
Due to delays at SFO, my WestJet light missed its connecting WestJet flight. If they had held the plane in Calgary for 15 minutes, 2 families with children would not have been stranded in Calgary for more than 24 hours. I understand the need to be on-time, but when it is the same company, you would think they could make a phone call. Or maybe they could go to a higher altitude to make up for lost time? Instead of attempting to put us on another flight, they rescheduled us for the same connecting flight 24 hours later. We then had to scramble to find a hotel, which they state that they were not responsible for since the delay was not their fault and therefore became an additional out of pocket expense for us. The customer service is severely lacking here at this company. They also mentioned that if we purchased our tickets through a 3rd party site (Kayak) versus WestJet directly, that they couldn't help us. Seriously?? Additionally, we lost 2 days of travel and missed out on tours and taxis that were pre-booked. I will not be using WestJet again,

Terrible decision to take a night flight. Not enough time to sleep and premium seat has no foot rest ao couldn’t get comfortable!

20+imite delay on the plane with no air. Part of our group had no seats assigned and took a long time to get fixed. Again no wifi and snacks were sad
Fine except for a delay that resulted in our missing the final leg of our flight.
Flight booked from Montreal via Toronto to Huatulco. Toronto to Huatulco flight was cancelled, lost one day of vacation in Toronto waiting for next flight. Flight from Huatulco to Toronto delayed, missed connection to Montreal. Westjet counter closed. No hotel, no connection flight for 4 days to Montreal to finish the journey. I shall go to Small Claims Court to get compensation for all these troubles. Westjet never again.
Air Canada was delayed on the initial flight causing us to be put on another flight that took us to a different airport that did not have our connecting flight. We had to rebook the flight from Tokyo to Bangkok when we arrived after clearing customs. We spent and additional 8 hours because of this. Return flight was also delayed on departure but we were able to make or connecting flight in Tokyo. The business seats need improvement, the seats are a bit hard for such a long flight.
It’s a good airline. Polite service and good communication.
The trip was very smooth; the seat was quite comfortable, and the food was excellent and tasty.
We ran into trouble in Montreal. Exited the plane and Air Canada was excellent getting everyone quickly to their destinations. I give Air Canada a 100%.
I was notified 8 hours before that my flight was cancelled due to mechanical issues and they would let me know when they put me on a new flight. Didn’t hear back for 6 hours and was never notified and had to log into the app to find out I was put on a new flight. First time flying with air Canada and won’t fly with them again.
Air Canada changed this flight from July 6th to July 16th without sending ANY notification. This was not discovered until arrival at the airport. We then had to spend 6 hours on the phone with JustFly to get rebooked on a different airline. No explanation given.
The flight was delayed and we would have missed our connection. We had to switch to a different airline in another airport
Multiple delays and flight cancellations meant that I arrived five and a half hours late at my destination. There was limited communication from the airline. The airline left my checked bag at my departure city and stopped tracking it almost immediately. The airline has made no apparent effort to return my bag despite filing a report, and has provided no communication or ability to check on the status of the bag.
I'm 6'8" (2.03m) so more legroom would alwqys be appreciated, especially on long international flights. The food choices were underwhelming.
