The plane from Venice to Dublin ran out of food. They did not restock the plane in Venice.
It was very refreshing being in a nice and clean plain, with pillows and earphones that you don’t have to pay for, with warm food and beverages and a very nice crew
The flight from Dublin to London was short but they charged for any food or beverage. I have never paid for anything except alcohol on a flight before so imagine my shock at being charged nearly 4 pounds for a cup of tea. I once took an hour and a half flight (different airline) within South Africa and was served a complimentary dinner. It’s minor things like this that might make me hesitant to choose Aer Lingus over another similarly priced airline.
Ground crew in Dublin also not friendly, I had a tracker in my bag that was showing the bag was left in Canada however they didn’t want to help.
The thing thy call a pizza was atrocious. Do not eat it. The seating is as usual for economy an experiment in cruel and unusual punishment that they aren't allowed to do to prisoners but you get to pay for it.
Didn't make it to this flight as we sat on the tarmac for 1.5 hours.
The crew was first rate. They allowed me to switch my middle seat to an isle seat and it made my flight home so much more comfortable.
Everything went very smoothly I loved having the earphones and the blanket and the staff was just super friendly
I was advertised a free seat selection for a "Smart" fare through BusinessClass.com. I was never able to select a seat. I thus paid extra for a bill of goods I was never provided. would love to speak with a representative of Kayak
Overall good. We weren't able to find out about food options for the flight and there was nothing I could eat due to allergies. The biggest problem was getting our checked bag at Logan. Waited an hour!
We loved our flight attendant (Emma, from Scotland), the meals were perfectly spaced out, and the in-flight entertainment was super generous and delightful.
Economy seats were good and spacious. Much better than virgin by a mile.
Why don't they board from the back of the plane to the front. We have to move by all the people and their luggage to get to the seats.
I arrived at Bridgetown only to fins that a suitcase was missing. It was left at Manchester. I had to wait wait 2 days before deciding on going to collect from the airport personally. I am not happy about paying for baggage at the airport. This I thought was included in the price of the ticket. Who goes away for 2 weeks and does not bring luggage. This was a total rip off and I am not happy. I need someone to contact me before returning so that I don't have to pay all over again to return homde.
The boarding call announcements versus the Staff announcements versus the digital signage board on the out-going and returning flights WERE NOT IN SYNC. I was sent through check and re-checks 3 times. WHY?
With three empty seats across the aisle from me I politely asked the crew if I could sit in one of those seats. They initially told me I couldn't do it for my safety. When I pressed them again they blamed the captain. So which was it? I didn't appreciate either nonsense explanation simply because they didn't want to honor my request.
Great room between the seats, food was excellent, very comfortable overall and could have stayed on the plane even longer
Flight was great (only a short hop from London to Dublin). Wi-Fi available on board(around 2 euros), power sockets, complimentary water and biscuit. Landin/ takeoff all went without a flaw.
Good flight, awful, vindictive, vile customer services in T5 Heathrow.
Staff was engaging and helpful. Loved the experience and would definitely recommend them to my friends and family
