Pros: "Quick, on time, professional."
Cons: "Shuttle transfers... I prefer direct to plane boarding."
Cons: "Delayed as always"
Pros: "The crew kept serving for ages when some ladies urgently needed to go to the toilet! The staff told them to wait and wait 5/6 minutes they did!&"
Cons: "Haven’t flown it yet"
Pros: "the food"
Cons: "the service was disgraceful"
Pros: "Hate Ryanair! Cheap fools! Air Lingus are miles better. No pun intended."
Cons: "The flight was nearly an hour late taking off."
Pros: "Crew remained civil under duress"
Cons: "Flight delays going over and coming back"
Pros: "Never made the flight"
Pros: "David and Kate the flight attendants great banter with passengers"
Pros: "That it only lasted 50 mins"
Cons: "Packed with low class beer drinking plebes."
Pros: "Flew business class for the first time with Aer Lingus. The crew are friendly and helpful. The food on board was top quality."
Cons: "The lie flat seats in business class are not very comfortable. Especially in the straight up position. The entertainment system is pretty bad and the choice of movies, tv etc is very poor. The complimentary WiFi only worked occasionally. Can not understand how Aer Lingus claim to be a 4* airline."
Pros: "Wheelchair assistance was very good"
Cons: "Long distance to boarding gate vis bus and walk. Late taking off so late arriving"
Pros: "Crew were great"
Cons: "Delayed Dublin to Newcastle flight"
Pros: "Direct flight and preclearance completed in Dublin"
Cons: "Not a great seat, back middle; poor food"
Pros: "Space for legs unlike ryanair"
Pros: "Fast efficient boarding. Short flight so no issues."
Pros: "Left on time and arrived early"
Pros: "I like the comfort and reliability of this airline in my experience."
Cons: "The boarding and deplaning was awful'"
Pros: "Swift boarding process, mannerly stewards"
Cons: "When landed, the back door of the aircraft was opened, despite passengers only disembarking form the front. It was very cold."
Cons: "Missing connecting flight"
Pros: "Friendly crew, clean and comfortable."
Cons: "Luggage control was a bit off, passengers criss crossing trying to find space. I think the crew could have managed that better."
Pros: "the immigration in Dublin and the connection services in Dublin"
Cons: "I booked extra space seats and then they changed the plane and moved us in regular seats. We talked to a person from Air Lingus and he said it happens often but there's nothing to do. on board, the head sets are very old and you could only hear from one ear using the head set provided by Air Lingus. in 2018 ?! seriously !?"
Pros: "Check in, boarding and flight all great"
Pros: "Average flight"
Cons: "Not enough legroom I felt like a sardine"
Cons: "Early boarding.. wondering could this catch me out on another occasion?"
Pros: "Great crew"
Cons: "Very old aircraft. Single aisle narrrow bodied"
Cons: "Why is it not possible to print a boarding pass from a phone? This cannot be an uncommon activity."
Pros: "On time. Reached early"
Cons: "No compliments of drinks"
Pros: "Seats comfortable, crew pleasant"
Cons: "My plane was broken, they had no idea when and if we were going fly away. Once the plane was brought to the gate, mechanics had the engine apart inspecting it. Then they caused a fuel spill during fill up which caused the fire trucks to come. This was very discomforting for 300 people waiting for 4+ hours to get on their plane. Once on the plane internet did not work, and my in seat entertainment was rebooting often. I spent 7+ hours at Dublin Airport, sick with a sinus congestion... Plus all the restaurants and shops were closed due to it being after hours of their operation. Last time flying this airline."
Pros: "Your staff are very friendly. But you probably need more staff to help people with self check in as there were a few elderly people standing around not knowing how to use the self check in ."
Cons: "Was not happy about paying extra for my luggage . At the price I paid for my flight I would have expected a luggage allowance of one check in bag."
Pros: "Friendly staff with excellent humour, and an efficiently short flight time."
Pros: "Overall very. I was there when the check station was down caused delays. But staff were very helpful."
Cons: "Getting through security check very slow. Not sure what the answer is but need to be looked urgently. Otherwise I enjoyed everything.. P.kehoe..sunnybank Farm.. Portersize.. Grange con.. Co. Kildare"
Cons: "We reserved specific seats by calling Aer Lingus directly 4 months prior to our trip. When we arrived in Dublin from Paris, we were told by a very uncaring Aer Lingus representative that those seats were not available and were assigned seats that split up our family. He acted as if he could care less. The food was average. I have never flown internationally and had to pay for alcohol. Seat space is never great in economy, but this was one of the worst. Luggage for our entire family was lost for 36 hours."
Cons: "I can't actually make a comment on the food since u have to pay for it and I didn't want to. Nothing appealed enough to pay for it. Entertainment wise, there was no entertainment so I have it one star"
Pros: "Luggage was couriered and arrived 9 hours later."
Cons: "That our luggage wasn't on the flight and we only realised after waiting/looking for over half an hour. Then had to do the missing report, all after a long flight. Couldn't someone in Dublin have rung and warned us?"
Pros: "The flight was nearly empty. Never had that silent, and peaceful flight. Everyone found there space and fell asleep."
Cons: "Too cold"
Pros: "I liked doing immigration in Dublin rather than Chicago, even though the process was lengthy. We couldn't understand why, having done the automated system, the process was virtually repeated at the immigration desk. Queues were very long."
Cons: "As above plus my husband's seat arm was broken. The inflight entertainment system was a joke. Back of seat screens fitted but not working. Very distant ceiling screens and only one working before the whole system failed. Not acceptable on a long flight."
Pros: "The comfort of the plane was great compared to Ryan air"
Cons: "I don't like that I must travel to Dublin from cork to fly to Amsterdam for a cheaper flight"
Cons: "My seat was changed and I was in the middle seat, not the window seat I had selected weeks earlier. My brother and his daughter had their seats changed, too, and they were in middle seats 14 rows apart, so she flew by herself on an international flight all by hersel! My headphones wouldn't work correctly in the double jack, only getting one side. Why change the plugs? The flight attendant said that they wouldn't work and that she would get me a headset. Two hours into the flight I finally got a headset. The male flight attendant was great, but unfortunately we were dealing with others that totally ignored my two small requests for the entire 6 hour flight. Our flight to Dublin was awesome, but this flight back was very very disappointing!! Changed my while feeling about Aer Lingus"
Pros: "The British Airways portion was exceptional! The Aer Lingus portion was not!"
Cons: "On Departure for Dublin, waited in long line to check in at Aer Lingus only to learn it was co chaired by British Airways, so Aer Lingus would not service us at all. We had no way of knowing since it was sold by Aer Lingus and had an Aer Lingus flight number. Tried to check in on line, but was unable. Waited for Aer Lingus customer service on telephone customer service for more than one hour and finally just gave up. Aer Lingus has no Customer Service at all. Do not deal with Aer Lingus under any circumstances. British Airways met our needs!!"
Pros: "There waa great variety in the entertainment feature."
Cons: "Boarding was absolutely chaotic. There was one call for priority members, and then a call for all remaining rows, stressing that it was final call. This caused a large crowd to rush to the gate and then disorganization when on the plane. Historically, its been much more efficient when you call batches of rows, which clearly prevents overcrowding and allows people more room to stow away carry on bags. Also, i was very disappointed by the food options. As a vegetarian, i had no manageable option because i hadnt preordered. I had no wifi during the days before the flight, i couldnt get online to do it. I find it surprising that you dont at least provide a meatless option, or at least stow away a few extra vegetarian meals. Also, i have never seen that option during booking, nor have i ever recieved an email to consider meal options. Overall, the accessability of meatless food is extremely disappointing."
Pros: "Staff ruth, no asistent help, no staff on airport of rayanner in Dublin, dirty flor inside of plane I will never ever never never travel with Rayanner Slow slow service with both/ cheek in and boarding"
Cons: "No good coustumer service I will make sure non of my famili or friend not gone travel with rayaner OTHER COMPANY MUCH BETTER THEN RAYANER PAYING LITTEL EXTRA BUT NEVER WITH RAYANER 2 TIEMS AND SOO DISAPOINT"
Cons: "Our son's luggage did not make it to Barcelona with us. We arrived on Sunday. He was called Monday that a delivery service would bring to him that evening, but they did not show up. They were to come Tuesday morning, Tuesday evening, Wednesday morning and never showed up. He finally had to take a $35.00 cab to airport to get the luggage. NOT a good experience. The Aer Lingus support number just rang and rang, no one picked up for days! My daughter tried the main Aer Lingus connection but they referred us back to the same phone number. NOT good customer service."
Pros: "Crew very pleasant"
Cons: "Seat by door very uncomfortable"
Cons: "Lost my luggage"
Cons: "Aer Lingus webpage is terrible. Kayak’s is excellent, but I tried to change seats, it would not let me."
Pros: "Very good crew. Friendly. Smiling. Helpful. Short flight. 50 min."
Pros: "Crew was nice"
Cons: "We were about 45 minutes late taking off so it was stressful for all of us that had a connecting flight."
Cons: "Tough time. British airways wasn’t very helpful. Once our gate was changed no one told us or gave new boarding pass. We did have 7 hours to figure it out. But a clue where to go would have been nice. Missed my connection. Shuttle and hotel was a mess. Got a few hours of sleep outside the airport. Maybe I’ll get to Los Angeles soon."
Cons: "Could you refund me 50.00 as your price included bag price but when directed to book I had to add on bags for a further 50.00 and because of this they wouldn’t let me get on an earlier flight on my return firstname.lastname@example.org or 07799411994 for response"
Pros: "Fruebdjf, courteous and good food."
Pros: "flight was great, safety video and pilots were great. 8/10 would recommend. Was great for the price. Attendants were great."
Cons: "No free beverage or food even on international flight. In the exit seats, there are major pros and cons. The exit row has amazing leg room, but you can’t use your tv screen like other passengers (can’t listen to movies because there is no aux plug and no usb to charge your phone like other passengers)"
Pros: "Overall it was fine. Friendly staff, everything pretty efficient."
Cons: "Truly disappointed to find that BA has decided to charge for ANY beverage whatsoever, even tea. I have such fond memories of flying BA years ago. My husband and I so enjoyed the disposable plastic blue teacups that we brought them home with us and still use them as kitchen scoops all these years later. I know that may seem silly, but even without that nostalgic memory, it just feels SUPER unpleasant to have to pay for the basic (non-alcoholic) beverage service. Honestly, just charge a few bucks extra on the ticket in the first place."
Pros: "Polite crew"
Cons: "Waiting for an hour to disembark"
Pros: "Gate agents good. Same with cabin crew"
Cons: "No AC charging. Legroom in business was tight"
Pros: "I appreciated the brand new seats on the aircraft which were quite comfortable, and the friendly crew who actually were nice enough to have a conversation with. Enjoyed the Marks and Spencer’s food too."
Cons: "The boarding at Dublin airport was not great, masses of crowds from every displaced flight due to snow (not all British Airways, many other airlines adding to the crowd). Was not awful but not fun."
Pros: "Great service as always"
Pros: "The flight attendants were great, helpful and polite. The food was delicious and there was planty leg room. A great airline to fly with and I'd highly recommend them."
Cons: "Nothing, all was great."
Pros: "Great staff, ultra professional"
Pros: "It was awesome how the windows are tinted and you can sometimes control it, and the new TV things on the back of every seat are truly amazing!"
Cons: "WHY is there no dairy free food?! I'm vegan but even for lactose intolerant people with more normal diets - there were absolutely no options! "meatballs and rice or pasta with a cheese sauce" - come ON! It's not that hard to make a vegetarian option that also happens to be dairy free!"
Cons: "The change of seats with the motove of keeping balance on the plane"
Pros: "The flight itself was good and the crew was friendly and attentive"
Cons: "We won't go through Dublin again. The walk from the arrival gate to the maze of bureaucracy ahead was way too long. The airline should have not have that tight a connection knowing all the screening that must be done to board the next flight. We were held up at every entry point, not told what to expect and thus had to prepare for screening on the fly, while hoping our plane would wait for us, which it did and the many people who boarded after us. Entertainment system was slow and non-responsive and my husband's had to be reset to even start to work. One bag left behind, but delivered promptly within days of arrival"
Pros: "The seats were comfortable and roomy."
Pros: "This was a BA codeshare but operated by AerLingus, supposedly a 4* airline."
Cons: "So called 4*"
Pros: "On-time arrival"
Cons: "Seating was very packed"
Pros: "All staff were very helpful and polite"
Cons: "This flight was delayed. When it came to boarding my husband who needs special assistance was first taken to board first but then had to be brought back as refuelling was not done and was then last on board. When we arrived at Heathrow his special assistance was not there and we had to wait for about 10/15 minutes. It is stressful traveling with someone who needs help and even worse when there are delays. We were advised that we could leave the aircraft which we did but we were left waiting in an area without any toilets which is a problem for him"
Cons: "Air Lingus is awful! It had 1:20 hours delay that resulted in missing the second flight. The check in people don't know their job. The lady named Michelle in Dublin almost killed me with her lack of knowledge and slowness. The airplane was extremely dirty including diner tables, seats, and bathrooms. It is the worst airline that I ever flied with. In Dublin the check in and information desk of air lingus were awuful. Full of attitude and absolutely no knowledge."
Pros: "Seating was roomier and much more comfortable. More leg room."
Cons: "No free snacks or drinks."
Pros: "Prop plane but on time with professional staff"
Cons: "We were loaded onto a shuttle bus and then stood there (some sat, I could only stand...) for 10+ minutes until the last passenger arrived. Not sure what the airline could do differently there unless it's run a "late person shuttle," and from other passengers' remarks, this was unusual for this transfer."
Cons: "No food, and no entertainment. An older airplane"
Pros: "Replacement flight was fine"
Cons: "Flight was cancelled and I was not automatically re-booked, luggage lost and not delivered despite repeated effort to reclaim it. Aer Lingus hold time on the phone was over an hour and attendants were unhelpful (said my flight wasn't cancelled in their system even though I received an email that it was - which ended up being true)"
Pros: "Comfortable seating"
Cons: "No beverage service."
Cons: "British Airways carrier American Airlines was not clearly notified on tickets/boarding passes/itineraries nor was there any communication between the carriers, so when I checked into British Airways I got no help expediting my check in at American. It was confusing and no one was helpful and instead flip. At American every interaction, whether about connecting flight boarding passes, my five and half hour delay or seating left me feeling unimportant and disrespected. I will never use either airline again nor Kayak"
Pros: "A little more leg room than regular flights, yummy food, more bathrooms. Even though I couldn't sleep during the whole 10 hours, there was a lot to watch and play provided by the airline."
Cons: "During the flight, I called the service button a few times and no one came. I don't mind going up and getting water, but it was a hassle being in a middle seat and asking my fiancé to let me out several times."
Pros: "Efficient boarding, friendly crew, good food, individual entertainment consoles, and plane was not very crowded."
Cons: "Extra charge for items traditionally included on trans-Atlantic flights, entertainment choices dated and limited, assigned seating clumped travelers together instead of spreading them out among available travelers."
Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "1. BA said I couldn't get a seat before 24 hrs before. Then when I tried to get a seat assignment I was told (by email) to contact Aer Lingus. Aer Lingus said that I should have called before 24 hrs before, and that seats were now in control of the gate (this still 22 hrs before flight time). Total lack of coordination. 2. At check-in I was first told that my bag was too big for carry-on, although BA had accepted it. I shrunk it down. Then I was told it weighed too much at 15 kg. When I asked why BA accepted the weight I was told BA's weight limit was different. 3. Net net, if BA is "arranging" the flight through a code-share it should have responsibility for insuring I am treated like a BA customer. Aer Lingus' customer treatment leads much to be desired."
Pros: "swift boarding allowed for an earlier departure and arrival 30min ahead of scheduled time"
Cons: "I waited 30min at the priority check in queue while being first in line this whole time. There was only one counter open for normal check in and one for priority when I arrived and after 20min waiting, the priority counter closed completely and there was just one counter open remaining, with just 10-15min before the check in closed. We had to wait another 10min to be able to check in our luggage! On arrival, luggage took 45min to just start delivering, completely wiping out the 30min arrival ahead of schedule."
Pros: "Staff was pleasant."
Cons: "Website didn't work for online checkin. Flight only half full but somehow I was assigned to the coldest seat on the plane with an exit door obstructing legroom. Toilets were out of order and only one was available for most of an eight-hour flight. Airline charged for drinks. Food (chicken stew in a brown gravy?) was repellant. Entertainment choices dated and uninteresting. Luggage lost, with one agent available to slowly help more than 30 people. Luggage missing for over 24 hours. No response from airline. Enough."
Pros: "Staff was cheerful"
Pros: "Everything was fine."
Cons: "Small seats."
Cons: "Did not like that I thought it was a BA flight but was really a EI flight , which means I had to get a boarding pass but I was sure was on BA and almost went to there booking counter to get boarding pass."
Cons: "Terrible food, no option available online to order special meals, the restrooms were filthy and not looked after. We are never flying either British Airways or Aer Lingus in future. It was a big mistake !"
Pros: "The boarding process was better than I expected in such a large plane. There were multiple lanes open to check in at the gate."
Cons: "The crew were not very attentive or polite when asked a question or for help. Then tended to go up and down the aisle with their carts with out stopping or offering anything and if someone asked them for a drink or something they would tell the, they would have to come back. The food on this trip was terrible and not well planned out. They ran out of the meat option for dinner before they were even halfway through the plane. At least 100 people had no food option. What was left was something with a cheese sauce cooked into it so it stunk with the foil was peeled back. I would have preferred the traditional peanut package to that."
Cons: "Good entertainment choice but terrible touch screens"
Cons: "We were late taking off due to the airport and plane not sharing passenger data, and then forced to delay exiting the plane and then forced to sit on a bus rather than enter the terminal."
Pros: "Cleanness and convenience."
Cons: "Seat selection only 24 hours ahead."
Pros: "Flight attendants were great."
Cons: "Boarding was a little rough."
Pros: "The actual aircraft was well maintained and inviting. The crew and the food, as always, was outstanding."
Cons: "Two things: 1) My screen wasn't functioning properly. I did tell a crew member and she re-started it for me; but, it continued to glitch and was, for the most part, unusable. (The touch screen was unresponsive and kept getting stuck). 2) When the person in front of me reclined, her seat was very close to my face, giving me very little room. I didn't want to do the same thing to the person behind me, so I kept my seat upright, which didn't help. I only got up once during the whole flight and I know it was uncomfortable for the reclining person because there was no way to exit without jostling her."
Pros: "Very friendly flight crew."
Cons: "Hard brake on the landing."
Cons: "Even though the flight is being purchased as it is one flight (i.e. code share) I was unable to check in online before my flight from DUB-LHR. Neither Aer LIngus or BA were willing to help in the US. Upon arrival the means to obtain a boarding pass took well over 1 hour plus so very bad when the object was to see some shops in the Dublin airport. Overall very bad experience"
Pros: "From pillar to post not one delay."
Pros: "The flight was quick, customer service was good on the plane"
Cons: "Checking in online was a nightmare as the site kept freezing, there was a mix up with my priority and cabin baggage, I was told by the webchat team that this had gone through but not on my boarding pass, when I got the the airport the Ryanair staff were extremely rude to us, they sent us to the back of the queue I front of everyone and then told us we would have to pay to take our bags with us, they then had to be out on the hold. When we got back to Birmingham we then had to sit on the plane for around 15 minutes as there was not a slot for us. I spent hours of my 2 day break trying to sort check ins etc, I would never fly with Ryanair again."
Cons: "I would be great if the flight attendants quieter than the aeroplane engines. My earbuds are no expensive enough."
Pros: "Quicker flight late at night"
Cons: "Waiting on bus to terminal Almost missed last train."
Pros: "Reasonably priced. Check in was quick and easy. Boarding was easy"
Cons: "Seats are very cramped and uncomfortable. I’m 179cm and it’s a tight enough squeeze for in the seats."
Cons: "Seating uncomfortable, don’t even serve water, charge money to check in 3 days early and for some strange reason they charged 100€ for standard carry ones manufactured by Samsonite for international travel because it didn’t fit in their standard cubby ... the same carry ones they allowed from London to Stansted became a tad too big on return . They remind me of US traffic police that start giving tickets on tiny issues st the end of the month to make their quota . Also many people in the line had bags exactly our size"
Cons: "It would be amazing to get 30 minutes without trying to sell something and constant use of the microphone for useless promotions. I don't really get on flights so I can buy a watch, a perfume or a scratch card, no need to spend 5 minutes trying to sell it."
Pros: "Once the aircraft arrived the boarding and take off were fairly quick. The flight itself self was extremely quick and there was no hassle. Quite impressed with that."
Cons: "The flight was delayed initially with 2 hours. There was no notification by the airport. After 2 hours there was another hpur delay. Again there was no notification. We and the other passengers had to constantly last to the gatw screen to see any updates. We were left in the dark until the very moment we started boarding."
Pros: "On time fly gut and prompt baggage handling"
Cons: "Getting charged 220EUR to check in at the airport."
Pros: "Cheap & Cheerful, as usual"
Cons: "Delayed Boarding Delayed Taxi Delayed dis-embarking (no dispatcher) just two bus drivers and no unloading of cases o those with mobility issues"
Pros: "Late departure from Dublin as expected But it was 30 min, anyways the flight made up time and only arrived 5 minutes late. The staff were very helpful also"
Cons: "The new slimline seats are very uncomfortable when seated for anything longer than an hour, the cushioning is very light and the angle of the seat is not as comfortable as the old ryanair seats. Also there was a long delay in Ciampino at the baggage belts considering the airport was empty - i know this is more a problem with the Airport but ryanair would surely have enough pull to get this sorted."
Pros: "New plane was comfortable."
Cons: "Very late service. Crew forgot about our row during the drinks service. Usual chaos from Ryanair's aggressive seating policy although people managed to swap themselves around to sit together. This wasted more time of course."
Pros: "Boarding was ahead of schedule, but we waited on the runway for a long time. Checking in via an app is great too."
Cons: "The seats are uncomfortable, the application of the baggage policy is inflexible & difficult, there are no places to put your things and having seating assigned randomly when you travel with someone is ridiculous. I love discount airlines, but being charged for things that would make me happier while not costing the airline a penny is too far. Ryanair gets your initial business with artificially low rates and then nickle-and-dimes you until you pay at least as much as you would by just going with an honest carrier that charges normal prices up front. I am tired of being messed about when there are equivalently priced carriers that aren't such shysters."
Cons: "Notification of flight cancellation even though the flight departed on twitter. Flight should have been cancelled as no transport links to Dublin Airport due to adverse weather."
Cons: "Both our flights to and from Malta were delayed by 3 hours"
Pros: "Was quick and easy"
Pros: "Flight was smooth nice and on time"
Pros: "Flight was on time"
Cons: "Couldn't take on bag as not priority. Booked extra leg room seats expecting priority but no longer Won't travel with Ryan air again"
Pros: "It was a stress free journey. Which I will be doing at least 4 more times this year"
Cons: "I cannot think of anything. Except you can't buy duty free cigarettes on the trip anymore"
Pros: "The crew"
Cons: "Sitting with a stranger"
Pros: "Got the best fairs, had it booked well in advance No hassle"
Cons: "On arrival all trains were cancelled and it was very hard to find a bus or someone to talk to but that was a separate issue"
Pros: "Loved the speed and efficiency of everything; we arrived from Dublin to Gatwick 25 minutes early. Plenty of opportunity for inflight purchases for such a small flight which was great!"
Pros: "Friendly staff and comfortable seats"
Cons: "The delay."
Cons: "The really need one of their newer planes ✈️ for the lanzorote route. Longer seatbelts needed."
Pros: "Staff were nice"
Cons: "Seating were narrow"
Cons: "No flight announcement at Dublin airport so missed flight"
Pros: "On time departure and arrival"
Cons: "Access to airplane and egress via the aircraft own steps is an accident waiting to happen for those people with impaired mobility."
Pros: "Fast, efficient, no stress So Glad that Ryanair did away with unallocated seating No passport control at Liverpool meant my time from landing to home including picking up checked luggage was 20 mins."
Cons: "Very long walk on landing"
Pros: "I had a good flight either way. Some turbulence, what you might call 'a controlled crash landing' on the way back to Stansted."
Cons: "The price of the flight. I normally am able to secure a return flight for about 100 euros. This time I got a quote for 300 plus for a return flight. Going through an affiliated site helped me to get a slight reduction on the flight. I find it odd that on a Thursday or a Tuesday the cost can be 12.99 pound either way and yet on a weekend this goes up to a silly amount. The flight is still the same. I am still going to the same place. Having to book three months in advance to avail of a cheaper ticket is of no use to me. The girl checking us in on the outward journey had her back to us the entire time when making an announcement for boarding. She looked like she was sucking sour sweets. No friendliness about her at all. Passengers using overhead spaces different to where they are sitting. That's really irritating."
Cons: "The Ryan Air staff were ignorant and complained when asked any questions."
Cons: "Customer service"
Pros: "Flight attendant was gas. A polish buck with a Irish accent"
Cons: "The flight was delayed for 1 hour"
Pros: "The flight boarding was delayed by 45 mins originally, which was added 15 mins onto then half an hour when we were then we were all very badly moved to another area when I say very badly, we were given poor instructions and me and some other passengers almost ended up on the wring flight. After we finally got to where we were supposed to be half hour was said that came and gone then another 15 mins when we were moved back to boarding area. Another half hour finally got boarded then and after this was the usual great Ryanair experience."
Cons: "The flight boarding was delayed by 45 mins originally, which was added 15 mins onto then half an hour when we were then we were all very badly moved to another area when I say very badly, we were given poor instructions and me and some other passengers almost ended up on the wring flight. After we finally got to where we were supposed to be half hour was said that came and gone then another 15 mins when we were moved back to boarding area. Another half hour finally got boarded"
Pros: "The make cabin crew had such a strong accent and spoke so fast that no one on the plane could barely understand a word he said during any of the announcements. He made no effort to slow it down and speak clearer"
Cons: "As above"
Pros: "The flight departed on time and arrived early. Pleasant staff, no fuss. Just what you want from a flight."
Pros: "Nothing, taxi plane, expectations not high"
Cons: "Cramped seating, flight delay, time waiting at the boarding gate."
Pros: "Standard Ryanair flight. Usual boarding etc. No problems."
Cons: "Being split all over the aircraft because we refuse to give in to Ryanair extortion to squeeze more money out of us. Clearly would have been able to seat us all together. Won't buy another coffee or food until this policy changes."
Pros: "The boarding was efficient flight"
Cons: "Flight was delayed. Seats are not comfortable. I was in a bus at the back and when it arrived at the demarcation door, the driver didn't open all the 3 doors! He only opened the front door beside himself so everyone had to exit by that door."
Pros: "Crew were lovely both at gate and on board. They were very reassuring as the flight was very bumpy for a while due to weather conditions"
Cons: "nothing really would have liked a little more leg room but those seats were booked when I booked mine"
Pros: "Ryan Air 5.5 hrs Flight Delay from Glasgow, Scotland to Dublin, Ireland (Draft 2.1) Our flight from Glasgow, Scotland to Dublin Ireland on September 22nd with Ryan Air was delayed for 5.5 hrs (165 minutes) for unexplained reasons. We were supposed to depart at 3:25 pm and we actually departed at 8:55 pm when the plane actually began to move from the terminal to the runway. Over the ensuring 5.5 hr. delay there was no plausible reason given by gate staff or the bag check-in staff or the electronic flight board of daily departures in the Glasgow airport. Here is what we heard from all 3 communication sources stated in the previous sentence: • Seven (7) actual time delays of actual flight departure times (electronic flight board) ranging from: 3:25 pm, 4;30 pm; to be scheduled; moved to 5:15 pm; 6:30 pm; 8:00 pm; 9:00 pm; check with the gate. • Waiting for a plane to arrive......... • We have no idea...... • Waiting for a plane and a crew to arrive.... • Corporate is working on finding an available plane...... • I don't know....we will post the details when they are known to us..... The Scottish Times Newspaper (Sept. 21 or 22), reported that Ryan Air had allowed too many pilots to go on vacation at the same time which had made the entire flight schedule prone to long flight delays and numerous flight cancellations. What was reported on the various UK news shows was very different. Their were serious labor issues between Ryan Air's pilots and management, particularly Dennis O'Leary the CEO, over work conditions including pay and job performance. Those of us who read local UK newspapers had an inkling that the pot was boiling. However, as the actual departure delay went beyond the scheduled 3:23 pm, passengers were uneasy about our hotel rooms in our destination cities still being held and whether any drop-off family members should go home or be available if the flight was ultimately cancelled. What made it worse was Ryan Air realized that they were in violation of the European Union flight delay rule so they passed out FLIGHT DELAY POLICY to those waiting in line. The gate crew and the check-in folks outside security told us about having to provide all passengers two (2) free phone calls except that this would mean leaving security at the expected gate and going back to the Ryan Air check-in counter and back through security. A very arduous process one more time. Ryan Air has very arcane booking rules so if I change my checked baggage to a larger size, my only option was to add an additional piece of luggage at a very stiff cost. In our opinion, Ryan Air is a very poorly managed airline and the most customer-combative airline we have ever encountered in our many flights throughout the UK and Europe. Without hesitation, we would not recommend Ryan Air under any circumstances and would be willing to pay more with other carriers who take better care of their customers. Pros: "I randomly was allocated the emergency exit aisle so not all bad, however my bag was placed in the hold therefore delaying the experience home."
Cons: "Blunt staff, poor check in process, sold too for the whole fights. Sat away from my misses although there was a spare seat next to me."
Cons: "The seats are uncomfortable hard plastic"
Cons: "Unpunctuality again."
Cons: "I felt it ironic that our two smallish rolling duffel bags were not the right parameters to take on board, and just enough over the weight limit to rack up bag charges of about 35 E ea, ea way between Dublin and Glasgow, so actually our luggage charge is more than our set of tickets for this particular trip. No wonder the owner's a billionaire--however, on the positive side, the pilot landed "like butter" in Glasgow AND we heard that the Ryanair owner actually does pay millions in taxes for the good of Ireland. (Sigh...)"
Cons: "Flight was very late.(over 2 hours) Notices not posted timeously No meal tokens offered, or anything else to soften the irritation Boarding and offloading by stairs into the rain - cheapest possible options."
