Cons: "The flight took off late, arrived late and we missed our connection to Salt Lake City. We had to change terminals and they were on the opposite side of the airport. Had to spend the night and have not yet started with Aer Lingus to get some satisfaction."

Pros: "Seats were comfortable. The blankets and pillow were an amazing addition and made the flight more comfortable."
Cons: "Would have enjoyed free WiFi"

Pros: "Aer lingus is the most comfortable way to travel"
Cons: "We ran a little behind; it would have been helpful for them to let us know they were running behind. Once you go through USA customs, there arent many options for refreshments or comfort. If I had known my flight would take off and hour and a half late, I would have been able to bide my time better."

Cons: "The flight attendants were not helpful or attentive. A nine plus hour flight and they offered drinks once, picked up garbage once and when we tried to give them garbage before landing, told us to put it in the seat pocket or toss on the floor! It looked like the plane had been trashed when we exited"

Cons: "Flight delayed, lost our luggage, broke our stroller"

Cons: "Not getting bumped from a flight set up 2 months ago"

Pros: "I liked the pretzel snacks and the entertainment options."
Cons: "I had a flight from London to SFO with a connection in Dublin. However, since I was traveling to the US I had to go through customs in Dublin. There was an hr an a half layover and yet I was running to the gate to make my connection. This seemed to be due to an inefficient system."

Pros: "Nothing.....never made the flight....due to multiple flights delayed. My family and I had to be rerouted which caused us to miss our flight home from LAX."

Pros: "The flight was on time and boarding/de-boarding was very easy. there was ample overhead storage for everyone."
Cons: "Extremely uncomfortable seats (I travel internationally multiple times a year and am used to long flights). Other international flights include beer or wine The food was mediocre at best"

Pros: "Plane was 1/2 full and I moved to empty row to stetch out and sleep. Quite comfy. Excellent music selection at least for classical."
Cons: "Poor water service. Attendents came around twice on 8 hour flight offering a small plastic glass of water. Should have brought my own."

Pros: "The entertainment was great."
Cons: "It was hard coming home since we can't bring any food with meat on the international flight coming back to the USA. Or at least the food I brought, a sandwich was not allowed because of customs. I can't eat the food that was offered. I'm glutten intolerant and dairy involerant. Not sure there's a whole lot to do about it besides buy prepackaged food that don't have meat, vegtabjes or fruit. Protien bars may have worked. We brought two bottles of water each from the terminal. I could have used more, even with the drink service. The flight attendants we're having thier own personal conversation while passing out food and ran by when it came to the final trash clean up. When I got up to use the facilities I tried throwing my trash away but was ignored by a crew member while she was resting."

Pros: "I liked the service once we left Dublin but once it was time to arrive to Leeds everything went downhill."
Cons: "Our flight did not land to Leeds but to Manchester. I thought this would not be an issue to get my connecting flight to London. As I tried to explain to the airline attendants about my connecting flight they had no idea what was going on and said it wasn't their issue I would have to go to Leeds and explain to them what was happening. I asked if there was a way we could call them and see if I could just get a flight to London from Manchester. They said no. I tried to get a number to call myself still nothing. They sent everyone from the flight onto a coach bus to Leeds. Once I arrived to Leeds, I spoke with Ben and explained my situation. He said there were no more flights to London or anywhere near there. And there wasn't any flights to Austin, TX which was my end point either. He explained there wasn't anything they could do except fly me in the morning to London. I agreed but then come to find out he had to send me back to Manchester. Now I had already had my arrangements to stay in London for the night so I did not have much money left. He said they would take care of the accommodations and the flight to London. I was VERY PATIENT. Within this he was telling me how close they were to closing. I explained I needed everything in place before they even left because I was traveling alone in an unknown country or city. He arranged a cab to take me back to Manchester and a hotel to stay in with dinner and breakfast available. I thought everything would get better but of course it didn't. Ben clearly knew I had my checked bag and carry on. When I'm about to board the flight to London they charged me 60 pounds for my CHECKED BAG. Now this was already included on flight to begin with if all of this had not happened. The attendant did not want to listen to my story and kept passing me to another attendant that said there's nothing they could do. I had to pay since I couldn't leave my belongings. Once i arrived to London. I had to get my bag and RECHECK IN MY BAG. AGAIN they tried to charge me for my checked bag. This time I had enough of your airline and explained it was all included in my flight and I went on a rant with the attendant. He just stared and printed out the ticket for my bag. Didn't look at the computer. Didn't even explain why it's all of sudden taken care of that I don't have to pay anymore. I had no patience to hear his excuse but just wanted to get back home. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with an airline. Frontier isn't even this unorganized. Shouldn't there be a process for these kind of situations already?"

Pros: "Flight on time"
Cons: "Upon check in Dublin there was only one attendant at the check in counter in business class. Had seat assigned when I booked the flight and check in counter gave different seats so was not sitting beside my husband."

Pros: "The entertainment system has been upgraded on planes I've flown on recently and is very good. Food is normal airline blah, no better no worse."
Cons: "The crew are very fussy. Can't wear headphone on takeoff and landing whereas other airlines allow, They charge for alcohol so the drink service takes twice as long while they collect money/credit cards. Constant, constant, constant announcements. Impossible to watch a movie without some interruption. No, I don't care who is chief flight attendant in business class. Towards the end of the flight, they subject you to a charity video. You have to listen/watch. The inflight entertainment is interrupted (again) for this."

Pros: "Seats offered decent space and crew was nice."
Cons: "I called the airlines and requested a special meal, and was only provided it one-way so was left unable to eat anything. Water was free, but would only give you small amounts and was very infrequent. Waiting in the queue to check luggage took over an hour. There were only a few attendants, and at one point all attendants left except for the one that was checking in flight attendants. Awful."

Cons: "Neither wi-if nor the movie system worked. Fortunately we had strong tail winds so an 8 hour flight was 6. They should have let us know while we were still in the terminal so we could purchase a book or download a movie. Beer and wine had to be purchased on an international flight. No economy plus."

Cons: "They dropped me from the flight. I am in a hotel in Dublin, and will go direct from Dublin to SFO this morning, the next day."

Cons: "Before we boarded this plane we arrived at Aer Lingus for a 2 hour layover. The airport only had a snack bar open and an express bar with only drinks. There was cafes upstairs but that was closed off to hundreds of people with a layover between flights. When asked they said it was closed off by escalater and elevator to all of us. They blocked the escalator with a giant gate sign. People waited in line at a snack for over 20 mins for a bite to eat that was express food or a choice of 5 sandwiches that came hot that actually sucked not worth the money at all. People were pissed! I was looking forward to a nice meal for my layover but that definitely did not happen! They only came around once with drinks on a 6 hour flight, then twice for coffe and tea. When I asked for a sprite they said they ran out of things completely"

Pros: "Super friendly staff"
Cons: "Flight left late and landed over 45 minutes late. No support for those that were left late for connections and no allowing those to de-board first. No Aer Lingus staff in the airport when the luggage screw up from Madrid was discovered."

Pros: "The crew are the friendliest, nicest crew. I’ve flown Iberia and JetBlue the past year and the Aer Lingus crew are so much more hospitable and service oriented. From cockpit announcements keeping passengers up to date on flight info, to food service, the crew does an excellent job."
Cons: "Boarding the plane was too chaotic. There seemed to be a lot of confusion. They were boarding rows 8-23 but no one was getting through the gate to the plane. Before anyone from this group got on the plane, they added rows 24-46. Ambiguity causes stress. A more orderly lining up of passengers would be less stressful."

Pros: "Aer Lingus flight was great - comfortable seats, good entertainment options with movies an music and good food!"

Pros: "Good flight"
Cons: "Boarding was terrible- no information and it was late"

Pros: "Nothing. We were delayed and never made the connection. Delays, mechanical issues with the plane and mis information from your agents caused us to miss the flight."
Cons: "I didn't like the fact that we never made it to Hamburg. The more I think about he experience, the madder I get. We were frustrated with the experience to start out with but as we think back on it and what could have been done to change things by the airline, the frustration changes to anger."

Cons: "Our previous flight arrived late. We were issued boarding passes 40 minutes before take off, they closed the gate 2 minutes before we got there."

Pros: "I made it on the plane because they decided to delay the fight for the ones of us that almost missed our flight so to the flight from Dublin being late."
Cons: "The Food!"

Pros: "They had vegetarian options for food."
Cons: "I couldn't check in until I got to the airport so I was stuck in a middle seat. Boarding went smoothly but we sat on the run way for an extended period of time. The screens weren't working for the first 45 mintues and when they were finally reset the movies kept skipping which made it unwatchable, the 7 hour flight from hell."

Pros: "Didn’t feel cramped like on the Air Transat flight to Dublin. The food was quite good and they had a great selection of movies."

Pros: "Good flight with good service."

Cons: "You can not bring a hot drink on board, but they give you hot drinks on board it doesn't make sense.. The seats are very small on a 9 hrs flight, the arm rest should go up for some space when available..There should be at least a vegetarian option for people who don't eat meat.."

Pros: "Crew was courteous and efficient."
Cons: "Boarding was comical. This was the one place in the airport where there is no attempt to establish a queue area. I don't get it. Plane audio for pilot and crew announcements was poor. Nobody could hear what was being announced. Entertainment audio was very poor - which on a long flight can make a big difference. Even tried my own earbuds and it did not help."

Cons: "Not enough food served, they charged for alcohol on a transatlantic flight! Some of the crew were not the friendliest."

Pros: "Everything was fine on this flight. From the price food and service. The layover was to long but it was a last minute booking"

Cons: "Boarding process in Dublin was long"

Pros: "N/A"
Cons: "Didn't take Dublin to LA."

Cons: "Paying for coffee??"

Cons: "They sat me in the last row again and seat did not recline. I was halfway in the aisle. Most uncomfortable flight I’ve ever been on. You had to pay for tea. No entertainment."

Pros: "The seats were comfortable"
Cons: "3 hours in the machine and not even a soda or bag of peanuts for a flight during lunch time. This was not American Airlines, it was Aer Lingus. They want to sell drinks, snacks and duty free. Hey, we were already paying enough just to be in the jet!"

Cons: "All of our luggage was left behind by Aer Lingus in Dublin when we caught our connecting flight and now we are in Rome without any clean clothes! Being here without our luggage is unacceptable."

Cons: "After booking 2 months in advance to be placed at the LAST ROW next to the toilets? I will think long and hard before booking Aer Lingus."

Pros: "had trouble getting a ticket in the airport. was not checking a bag so they went out of their way to print one ensuring I did not have to wait in a large bag check line. seats have decent room, tv's had a great selection. food was good during the flight and staff was attentive. top 3 transatlantic flight for me(done around 20)"

Pros: "Everything except delays"
Cons: "Everything was really great except 3 out 4 of my flights were delayed"

Pros: "The flight was so short that the food and entertainment part of this survey are. It applicable. They did serve food for purchase though and they had some good choices"

Pros: "Flights were smooth and on time. Boarding was fine. I could walk around. Restrooms were clean. The egg breakfast dish on flight from LAX to Dublin was yummy."
Cons: "The seats are too small. I'm 5'11 and had to have my legs in the aisle even though there was nothing under the seat in front of me. The sound system for movies and pilots was hard to understand - not clear. Aisles too narrow."

Pros: "Overall excellent"
Cons: "Aero lingua lounge opens 530pm which gives you 15 min usage for a 635am flight before boarding. Not worth the fee."

Pros: "Great flight on this flight. Reagular earbuds work with entertainment system, seats were very comfortable with a bit of more leg room, again, the food was great."

Pros: "Friendly service"
Cons: "No wifi on the plane...it did not work on both of my flights."

Cons: "Couldn't check in for the second leg of the flight to the US, neither on-line nor at the departing airport, had to go to connections in Dublin. I flew to the US many times and this is the first time an airline IT system does not allow to check in for the US destination. The food was very mediocre. Inflight entertainment didn't work properly."

Cons: "There was no complimentary food at all not to mention about baverages and hot drinks. Te flight was pretty long, almost 3 hrs so I was expecting litlle bit more, especially after 8 hrs connecting flight."

Pros: "It's a real airline, with counters to check in. Staff was very friendly."
Cons: "Not even water for free."

Pros: "Very quick. Great service"

Pros: "Fare"
Cons: "Seat rows are close together"

Pros: "On time basic transportation"
Cons: "I was a little confused about bags. My bag fit under the seat, it's a "small bag". A "cabin bag" is what I would call a carry on."

Pros: "Seat was all sticky and I had to clean it"

Pros: "I do not know why we could not select seat upon booking - so that my wife and I could have sat next to each other. I know it's away you would like to make extra cash - but its a bit silly"
Cons: "The Yellow colour on seats - juts looks bad"

Cons: "a series of frustrating events, all of which i had to pay for, none of which were justified"

Cons: "I paid nothing for my bag going to Dublin and had to pay 10€ coming back. WHY???"

Pros: "The "sales" gets a little old. Duty free, lotto tickets, food, drink...…."

Pros: "Delayed and had to have replacement plane"
Cons: "Delayed and had to have replacement plane"

Pros: "I like the staff - they were kind and helpful"
Cons: "I didn’t like how you had to pay for food and there was not a comfortable position in the seats"

Pros: "You got what you paid for"
Cons: "N/A"

Cons: "Delayed for over an hour with no announcement or reasons given."

Pros: "Na"
Cons: "The almost two hr delay sitting on the plane then having to change planes."

Pros: "The plane was so empty, we were allowed to change seats so I sat by a window seat and had the whole row to myself! Also, the plane was warmer than usual, which was kinda nice."
Cons: "It was delayed by 40 minutes."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "All"

Cons: "No tv or entertainment"

Cons: "They didnt took care for me reach my destination. Even After they they new that was ryanair mistake."

Cons: "Arrival is horrific"

Pros: "We arrived about 20min earlier than expected. Our bags were checked in for free and we got them on time and without issues at the baggage belt on arrival. Snacks and drinks are not free but available for purchase. There isn't any kind of on-board entertainment. We sat in the last row and we have plenty of leg room - surprisingly."
Cons: "No drinks for free. It would be nice to get at least a glass of water. But it is understandable that low budget- short flights are not offering such services anymore."

Pros: "I got to soain safely"
Cons: "Delays 45-90 minutes at least"

Pros: "Cheap"
Cons: "Delay"

Pros: "Very efficient processes and was incredibly reasonably priced. Great for flights under 2 hours"
Cons: "Seemed like everything was an ad to purchase something. I get that this is the business model, but I don't have to like it."

Pros: "low fares /on time"
Cons: "small seat / hard to get on to their web site to pay for luggage and check in"

Cons: "Staff at the check-in desk was rude and condescending."

Pros: "The food options were pretty good."
Cons: "The seats didn't move back at all!!!"

Pros: "One of the staff in the terminal was friendly and showed us how to weigh our bags and collect the bag tag."
Cons: "Forced to check in online or face a charge. Paid €45 Euros per bag to check in. For Americans traveling between outside countries, Ryan Air has a small area on the boarding pass regarding the "attaining of a visa stamp on the boarding pass, in the baggage drop-off area, prior to boarding the flight." The rest of the boarding pass has other nonsense in larger and highlighted texts, but something as important as obtaining a visa stamp was small and obscure. The gate attendant made a stink about us not having it stamped and was trying to prevent us from boarding because of it. Our response was that no one, at any point, stated we needed a visa stamp on the boarding pass when we checked our luggage in the baggage drop-off area. I've traveled between countries before and have never experienced something like this. Additionally, Ryan Air knew we were Americans since we had to provide our passport numbers abe the country that issued them when we checked in online. You would think that they would have their systems flag Americans so that their employees know to say "hey, I see you're an American. FYI, you need to her a visa stamp on your boarding pass at the baggage drop-off area prior to boarding." Will never use Ryan Air again in my life, regardless of the supposed savings (cause in reality, there are OTHER & BETTER airlines to choose from; don't give crooks business and better to give it to their competitors)."

Pros: "Short flighy"
Cons: "Charge you for everything under the sun. Breath wrong and it will cost you €50"

Pros: "Price"
Cons: "They didn't have record that I had paid for extra luggage for my party of 7. Luckily, I had my paperwork so I was able to finally get my luggage on without paying again. The flight bordered 40 minutes late and then sat on the runway for an hour. They was never an announcement as to why. My mother is in a wheelchair. They didn't let her pre-board, and then put her wheelchair through with the luggage. She had to get to the luggage carousel without it. They told her to just walk. Luckily, she can walk a little with help. Yikes, if she was totally disabled."

Cons: "I had the boarding pass on computer, but was unable to print. Took a long time to finally get one from one of the agents."

Pros: "Neat plane and friendly hostesses"
Cons: "Lousy timing flight was delayed over an hour"

Pros: "Ticket personnel were very helpful"
Cons: "Flight attendants were less then helpful in all area's ..."

Pros: "Cheap flight Friendly staff"
Cons: "Cabin was pretty cramped, no leg room No entertainment Food N/A"

Pros: "Nice crew and flight in time"
Cons: "Uncomfortable plane"

Pros: "Ryan air is the stuff of nightmares. I checked in online and bought my luggage online as it's more expensive at the airport. The check in never registered online although the luggage did and I was forced to pay 45 euro at the airport to CHECK IN. You go in wanting a budget flight and they take you for all your money. The flights are cramped and seats small. Which is fine if you've paid 10-30 euros (flight with luggage) but their added other costs are a disgusting attack on budget travelers!"

Cons: "First, I tried to check-in online but their system was down. I outsmarted them because I took several screen shots of different timelines. When I checked-in at their counter, they wanted to charged me €40. The lady wouldnt believe me when I told her that I tried to checkin online for 2 hours but their system was down. That's when I showed her the photo of the screen shot, she called someone on the phone telling him or her of the situation and that I have proof of screenshots. They finally allowed me to check-in with no fee. Second, When I dropped my 3 luggages, they wanted to charge me for my 2 check luggage allowances. I told the lady that I bought online for 3 luggages allowances, but their system only showed that I only bought one. It took several minutes for them to realized that I was right. Third, maybe because of my lack of sleep and tired of travelling for over a month, i left my shoulder bag under the seat of the plane. My fiancee's and my passports as welk.as £500, smart tablet, camera, credit cards, jewelries and other personal belongings were inside my bag. That day was the last day of our 40days vacation. When I got outside of the terminal, that's when I realized that I left my bag on the plane. I went quickly to Ryan air desk but the lady told me that we have to go to the lost item counter and wait for my bag to show up. I waited the whole afternoon at the lost item counter and the lady there told me to just call them and ask if my bag has showed up. When I got to the hotel, I called the airline for rebooking on my flight back to my country. I went back the next day to the airport, but my bag has not showed up at the lost item counter. I was able to get the contact numbers of Ryan air in-charge of this matter. I requested someone to call the person in cbarge, telling him that my bag couldnt be lost because of strict security inside the airport, after a long wait, they finally said they found my bag. I waited 1 hour for Ryan air staff to turn over my bag to the lost item coiunter. When I finally got my bag, there were only £40 left in my bag and a piece of jewelly was missing. I will fly back to my country today and I will file a formal complain with Ryan air as well as write the CEO or President of Ryan air of the way he runs the business. I'm glad I got back our passports but the whole world should know about how Ryan air run their business. PLEASE,.STAY AWAY FROM RYAN AIR."

Pros: "Just as expected. Boarded on time arrived early."
Cons: "As usual an uncomfortable flight (no reclining seats) but you're in the air such a short period of time it hardly matters"

Pros: "The flight attendants wont stop talking the whole flight, the temperature is so cold and the lights are never turned off, which makes it impossible for you to sleep on the plane."

Pros: "The price is the main reason to fly. It was on time and efficient. Would definitely ride this airline again."
Cons: "Restrictions on baggage made me have to rearrange. Nothing major, just a slight inconvenience."

Cons: "Over crowded. Uncomfortable seats"

Pros: "The price"
Cons: "The comfort of the plane, it was over crowded with no air on the plane. Getting on and off the plane took entirely way to long."

Pros: "The flight crew seemed very professional. The cabin crew was very polite and courteous."
Cons: "The cabin crew seemed very disorganized. As was the boarding process. People were standing during some pretty good turbulence. I am a captain on a foreign carrier. Letting the pax be that uncontrolled endangers others also."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Cattle car approach. Cost saving is commendable. Charging for EVERYTHING is not."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Everything"

Cons: "Seats don't recline. No leg room. Cattle car feel!"

Pros: "The flight was very late and then the gate information came up almost as the flight was boarding."
Cons: "Lack of boarding information"

Pros: "On time. That's about it."
Cons: "First time flying this airline. Cheap ticket price, but be prepared to get nickel and dimed... Check a bag? Ca-Ching! Choose your own seat? Ca-Ching! Cup of coffee? Ca-Ching! By the time you're booked and boarding, you could be flying an airline that keeps the interior of the aircraft clean, and has a seat pocket to keep your stuff in."

Pros: "Price was good and the flight was short. Service was better than I had experienced on other Ryan Air flights."
Cons: "Seats were small, price for checking bags at airport was very high 60 pound but 35 if you checked in online before arriving at the airport. Still expensive. Both flights were late taking off and landing."

Pros: "We arrived to our destinations, and so did our bags. Good! And crew were all friendly."
Cons: "But this budget airline feels so in every sense. Boarding is from Tarmac, even coffee or tea costs checked bag, and weight limits are low, boarding is chaotic, no flight entertainment... By the time we paid for all our bags and did the whole dance of moving items from bag to bag to meet limits, we could have probably picked a better airline and had more comfort. They have a policy to charge for musical instruments, and even though there was space, on our return flight we were forced to check it, which we mostly try to avoid for safety of instrument...the way out no issue, the way back we got a stickler. Overall, for single travelers who don't care where you sit and just have a small bag, go for it. Trying to shoehorn a family of four plus instrument led to several up charges and annoying encounters at airport. I'll avoid next time."

Pros: "On time and speedy boarding"
Cons: "everything was for purchase on the plane. No complimentary drinks. And a lot of selling on the plane. My flight was selling scratch tix for charity"

Pros: "Flight crew was nice."
Cons: "Seats are uncomfortable. They charged me 50 euro and checked my bag because it was 2 inches wider. Lines are long and slow to board."
