Cons: "There was a hidden charge for everything. If you didn’t check in online, it was 55 Euro, to change your seat to sit next to whoever you are flying with 8 Euro, every refreshment was a charge, luggage was a charge, and the staff were very unfriendly. I will never fly this airline again."

Cons: "The new slimline seats are very uncomfortable when seated for anything longer than an hour, the cushioning is very light and the angle of the seat is not as comfortable as the old ryanair seats. Also there was a long delay in Ciampino at the baggage belts considering the airport was empty - i know this is more a problem with the Airport but ryanair would surely have enough pull to get this sorted."
Pros: "Once we boarded, we had to wait 45 minutes to take off. Apparently, there was a problem w/ air traffic control, but no one said anything until about 25 minutes of waiting."

Cons: "Takeoff was delayed by 1 hour due to what seemed like a totally preventable clerical error (in pairing a piece of checked luggage and a passenger). This delay reduced our transit options on arrival and also inconvenienced our host. The flight was overheated and uncomfortable. At the freight-level prices, I wasn't expecting food or entertainment, and I was aware the flight would be full, but I was expecting at the least a functional temperature control or effort to use it. Especially during the hour we idled on the tarmac prior to takeoff."

Cons: "First of all, the website is laid out in such a way that it's easy to make unnessasarry additional purchases. We ended up purchasing seats at the very back of the plane. We were unable to print our boarding tickets prior to checking in at the airport and after waiting in line for help, were directed to self help computers that we had to pay-to-use. These were not working and after lining up for help several more times (to get change to pump into the computers etc...) and sending off a 'chat help request we finally left and got a different clerk. While this second clerk was telling us we'd have to pay for her help, someone else overheard our challenges and took over from the clerk, printed our boarding tickets at no further charge and got us on our way. While we certainly appreciate the service at the end, it should never have come to that."

Cons: "Paid for priority boarding and reserved 1st row seats to be as stress free as possible. They had a priority line and a regular line and took both lines at the same time and herded us onto a bus. I ended up getting on the plane after 30 people who didn't pay for priority and finding room for luggage was a mess. You have to jump out of your seat upon arrival to try and gettting back to your luggage. Just know that Ryan Air is a cattle car. Seats are small and padding is long gone. I frankly expected that, but didn't anticipate the priority fee being a fraud."

They charged us then made us feel dumb. I think they deal with a lot of unhappy people and this could be fixed by simply improving website/check in clarity."

Cons: "Having to print out a boarding pass is almost impossible when travelling as no access to a printer. The check-in area at Dublin as poor signage as I needed to get my booking pass stamped & passports checked The seats didn't recline & because I am not tall the head rest curve pushes my head forward (on most planes) have gap behind neck so very uncomfortable only helped by reclining seat. Boarding messy as no seat order called hence isles blocked, most planes load back seats first keeping isles free, this plane had back & front stair gangways but weren't told."

Cons: "I didn't like the fact that the employees at the check-in counter had less information about the flight than I did (I informed them that it was running late). Then when the flight was two and a half hours late, there were no employees with whom to talk about how to help me make alternative arrangements when I got to my destination (the lateness of the flight significantly disrupted my travel)."
Cons: "We did not know when we bought the tickets that there is a $45 dollar fee for checking in at the airport. We received a reminder email in our inbox a few hours prior to our flight, but we were already traveling and our WIFI access was limited, so we did not see it. It cost an extra $90 dollars to check in and a bit of stress as we were attempting to check in before the two hour mark using the airport internet that was spotty. We ended up missing our checkin by minutes, and had to pay. It was like being on one of those timed amazing race shows. $90 dollars!!! Won't do that again."
