Some of the flight attendants were very unfriendly and seemed to be bothered by the fact they had to do their job. Cons: "I was denied boarding on the Dublin to Munich leg of my connecting flight from Newark to Munich. My ticket was booked through Lufthansa, but the transatlantic leg of my trip was operated by United. When checking in with United in Newark, I received two boarding passes, one for each leg of the trip. I arrived on time in Dublin for my flight to Munich and tried to board the plane for Munich with the boarding pass I had printed in Newark. After scanning my ticket, the Lufthansa employees at the gate informed me that they had no record of me or my plane ticket in their system. I showed them the email confirmation for my ticket, but they still could not find any record of my ticket in their online system. The employees seemed more concerned with boarding all passengers as quickly as possible than assisting me. After being denied boarding, I had to go back through passport control to change my flight, and ended up getting to Munich nearly 6 hours behind schedule and missed an entire day of vacation. A Lufthansa employee told me that out of every partner in the STAR alliance, United is the ONLY airline they have had this problem with. I find this inexcusable, I will be AVOIDING ANY United/Lufthansa connecting flight from now on."

This was a mass from the start I will never use this airline or Air Canada again they ruin my login and told me it's still usable we had a delayed for three hours on the plane. Never never again!"

Cons: "We booked our group of four with Lufthansa, paying $300 more than equivalent flights on competing airlines, specifically because our 20 month old daughter fits within Lufthansa's age, height, and weight limits for using the bassinet. We have reserved our tickets and the bassinet over two months in advance, paying $35 extra per seat for these reservations, and even got an email that specifically stated "bassinet confirmed". On the flight, when it came time to install the bassinets, the flight attendant came to us, took a look at our daughter, and said that she will not fit in the bassinet, that she is too tall, and too heavy, and suggested that we should have checked the limits for the bassinet before coming on the flight. When we inquired as to the actual limits, she could not provide any numbers, only said that she could see that our daughter is too big for it. When the family next to us got their bassinet, it became very obvious that our daughter would fit in the bassinet, and we pointed out that she was well below the height and weight limits published on the Lufthansa website. Only then did the flight attendant admit that there were other babies on the flight, and they only had four bassinets on the plane, despite having 11 slots where bassinets could be installed. Our reservation months in advance did not matter - we did not get the bassinet. As compensation, we were offered some Lufthansa miles, or 50 euros for in-flight duty free shopping. However, we lost close to 1000 dollars as a group when we chose to fly Lufthansa rather than a less expensive airline. We were very uncomfortable throughout the flight, having to hold my daughter in my arms for over five hours. We are are still very upset that the crew blatantly lied to us."

Not the fault of the airline of course, but if there was a bit more leg room, it would have been a less claustrophobic trip. I used to fly a lot back in the 70s and early 80s and I don't remember ever being so uncomfortable. I have another trip flying back home at the end of the week, and, quite frankly I'm dreading it. Also, it was impossible to hear the captain's address, the on-board instructions, or various other announcements, in the airport and on the plane. Especially on the plane; the speakers were far too quiet to hear anything the captain said other than it was a nice day."

Cons: "We flew from Toronto - Abbotsford with a stop in Edmonton. There was a 1 hour layover in Edmonton before the Edmonton - Abbotsford flight left. Unfortunately, the plane arrived in Edmonton 30 minutes late, and rather than wait 5 minutes for the passengers to disembark from the Toronto plane and board the Abbotsford plane, WestJet decided to leave all those passengers behind. There were no other flights available until the evening, and we were stuck for 8 hours at the Edmonton Airport before we were finally given a flight to Abbotsford. Never again will I book with WestJet."

Be the first on board to store your cabin bag and relax in your seat before take-off." I believe I am entitled to a refund based on the info on above taken directly from the Aer Lingus website."

Cons: "The cabin lights after dinner were supposed to go off so people could sleep. The lights were going on and off uncontrollably the last few hours of the flight. Flight attendant said the plane had issues with the "control panel because it was an old plane". The worst part was when a female flight attendant wouldn't move her feet over a few inches while sitting in her chair, so that I (a pregnant woman) could use the closest bathroom to my seat in the back cabin. I had to ask her twice and both times she confirmed "She was on her break and would not move her feet" so that I could use the bathroom. Also note, the seatbelt sign was off but that wasn't even her excuse. The bathrooms were dirty and the toilet seats need to be replaced to be asked to sit on those is degrading!"

I can't say enough about how wonderful that flight was..Aer Lingus was a big disappointment and a poor substitute for BA. Very unsatisfied customer!"

My bet is they're being rifled through in Dublin right now."

Pros: "I've traveled Aer Lingua several times and been pleased enough to keep choosing AL for my transatlantic trips, however this, the on February 4th 2017 was my last favorite because this time i felt the low-budgetness of travel. there was less leg room, the food was edible, the in-flight A/V was not worth the effort of trying to watch our listen and the crew in my section not very attentive. Having said that, this was a one time mediocre experience that I'm reviewing and hasn't put me off AL at all - it's a good airline and I will continue flying with them."

But he went away and never came back, no any response of YES or NO. 2.I don't know why the airline company still need 11 hours to rebook the tickets with all our flight information and our passport liscen numbers already , making us waiting till 3 am at the airport. 3. I asked my boyfriend to talk to the staff on phone, and the staff told my BF that he didn't know my English was not good. I said to him loudly that I had told him , but the manager besides said "don't shout at my staff"to me, even without asking me what happened . Cons: "Couldn't check in for the second leg of the flight to the US, neither on-line nor at the departing airport, had to go to connections in Dublin. I flew to the US many times and this is the first time an airline IT system does not allow to check in for the US destination. The food was very mediocre. Inflight entertainment didn't work properly."
Cons: "There was no complimentary food at all not to mention about baverages and hot drinks. Te flight was pretty long, almost 3 hrs so I was expecting litlle bit more, especially after 8 hrs connecting flight."

Pros: "We were flying from Chicago to Paris and I choose a later connecting flight to make sure there were no issues. We arrived on time and asked to get on the earlier connection if there was room. Initially we were offered the change for a fee (those are the rules) but we were not willing to pay the extra expense and began to leave the counter. We were then offered the change at no charge. We were very thankful as this change/getting to Paris earlier allowed some sleep time to get over our jet lag faster. I flew Aer Lingus a few years before and was pleased so choose them again for this trip and they did not disappoint. I am a fan."

With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

The breakfast on offer was terrible. We booked through Flybe, with our reference no and a flight no that was different from Air France. We could not book in on-line with this no, and could not do it automatically at the airport either. We had to book in at the desk. Same thing on the way back, except that even at the desk, the Air France check-in man had difficulty. He told us first of all to go to Flybe desk, but we couldn't find it and had to come back.What went wrong here? It was a shambles. I hope I will get a response to this."

Cons: "I did not like the food. Also I do not eat meat so I was no given a non meat option I was just told to eat everything except the meat. I was also not a fan of the snacks in between. There was a spread some olives and then a spinach pie and they were cold and not appetizing. Next my luggage did not make it to ATL with me it stayed in Dublin and I ended up not getting it until 2 days later. Next the bathrooms became very dirty towards the end of the trip so it made it quite unpleasant to have to go to the restroom."
