Cons: "For an older couple like us did not like having to climb the steps up into the Plane and being out in the rain did not help. However that was not the worst part of the arrangement between getting off the Aer Lingus plane and with so little time to reach the gate for our BA flight to Denver it was a total disaster. Due to a minor problem my wife had with her foot I had asked for a wheel-chair to be available when we got off the plane at Heatrow. Good job that I did because with out their help we would never have made it in time for your flight to Denver. Between up and down in elevators, running along the corridors, in and out of a bus and I myself trying to catch up with those poor attendants. I was sorry that I did not get a second wheel chair for my self. Only for the flight was delayed by about 20 minutes we would have missed the flight. Who ever was responsible for making the arrangements of just allowing a time of 1 hour and 10 minutes between flights needs to figure out a better time schedule before people of our age ends up getting stressed out and end up with a heart attack. Very stressful indeed, believe I will never let this happen to me again. Fly/Us you need to fix this."

He this was our seventh plane ride in two weeks and nobody else has given us a problem.. After 10 days on the Camino DeSantiago the extra stress was not welcome.. Also short trip with the no there for each service was disappointing. Didn’t see a whole lot of the crew. It was if they were taking a break the entire time."

Don’t go flying with BA if you have anything of any value or fragile."

Cons: "I received no information from British Airways! Luckily someone saw that all flights on BA had been canceled. This is the second time this has happened with British Airways. They have zero customer service and terrible communication."

Cons: "Boarding the plane. I do not know why the airlines load the people who are at the front of the plane first. Load the people on the back of the plane first. That way, when you call the next section, the people in the back are not blocking people as they enter. An alternative is to call people in sections based on where they sit in a row. If you have window seat, you should be called first. Why? Because so many passengers who have aisle seats have to get up to let people with middle or window seats get in. So, they hold traffic up as people are trying to get to their seats. After window seat passengers get called, then call middle seat passengers, and last, call aisle seat passengers."

Pros: "We did land OK but JFK was snowed in and this probably caused the many problems we encountered. Iq always have bad luck flying in and out of that airport so I don't completely hold BA accountable. Staff we polite and efficient."
Cons: "We were stuck in the plane for an hour and a half after landing at JFK. On the ground they ran the engines so loudly my husband got a terrible headache. We mentioned the noise problem but were ignored. Once allowed to debark we were crammed into a long cold hall and waited another 1/2 hour before moving towards immigration clearance. To top it off the baggage conveyer system was broken and we waited another 45 minutes before they shut the building down. So we left with no luggage exhausted. One piece of luggage was left back in London. Not pleasant at all. We did get our luggage returned 3 days later. That was good."

They did process a payment for about $110 for upgrades both way, however, and I have written to get a refund. In general, British Air can be not responsive or helpful in the admin department and i will avoid them from hereon."

Cons: "Our flight was late to take off, and had to queue for 30 minutes at Shannon - before the plane had even landed. At stansted then had to get a long bus to the terminal and wait on the bus for 10 minutes because they couldn't open the doors. Luckily after a sprint to the station we made the last stansted express of the evening (£28 return each - 'London' airports for you)"

Cons: "There was no notification from cabin crew to advise us to ensure we collect our luggage BEFORE we go through the glass doors at Gatwick. We were expecting to show our passport and collect our luggage from the carrousel but didn't realise until after we went through the glass doors and had to wait over 40 mins for it to be brought to us. What was so astonishing- we were told we weren't the only ones this happened to. It would be very useful if cabin crew made the passengers aware of this to avoid it happening time after time with others/flights"

Cons: "Hidden fees, such as paying 55 euros for a carry-on bag that they claim did not fit in their ridiculously small box at the check-in gate. But, we were the only ones targeted for this additional fee (other travelers had much bigger bags, and were not charged the fee). I assume it's because we had US Passports, while the others were local travelers. Warning: you will pay low ticket prices, but they will burn you on added fees. Consider all hidden fees when comparing prices."
