The stewardesses were a bit intense, no entertainment systems, no complementary drinks

Calm great friendly helpful staff

Charging 8 Euro for a cup of coffee but not telling passengers that coffee wasn't free. I have never had a flight where you paid for soft drinks. There was no entertainment, which is fine for a short flight.

The flight left on time. The bathrooms were clean. The food was edible. The entertainment was pretty bad because the sound system didn’t work very well. I couldn’t really hear anything anybody was saying so I gave up and read. I guess I need to bring my own speakers next time. They gave you headphones but I think you needed a two prong headphone to get the proper sound. The plane was packed but it still was fine. All in all very good

Cons: "Flight was late due to earlier mechanical error. These things happen but still annoying when they do. Crew didn’t seem too bothered."
Pros: "Everything about this booking was a disaster. Not the least of which is that my bags are still on London and are total travel time will end up being about 24 hours returning."
Pros: "Quick boarding and departed on time."
Cons: "Everything else. Air Lingus is like Ryan Air with an Irish accent. No space, terrible food, very low quality entertainment system with the sound muffled and barely audible."
Pros: "Seats were better than the international leg."
Cons: "Everything. Offer at least a drink - all drinks were a charge. Staff was rude. Also they lost our luggage."
Pros: "Quick boarding, kind crew"
Cons: "All food and drinks for a cost. I had to run to make it to my gate which was quite a distance and a shuttle ride away."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Aer Lingus made us miss our flight and has us still waiting for a resolution after 22 hrs. This is the worst airline ever!"
Pros: "The flights themselves were nice. Food was fine. Flight attendants were helpful"
Cons: "Getting to our connection was awful. Prescreening getting into the US was terrible. Got selected for special screening and the officers said the gate knew we were held up there. Only had one hour to reach connection. Lost an immense amount of time getting swabbed and patted down. The gate was closed when we arrived. Had to run to the gate. By accident we found out the gate was closed from someone who happened to hear word that we were looking for the gate to JFK. Almost didn’t get on the flight. If we didn’t run who knows if we would have made it. If you are only giving people an hour to get to their connection, then don’t let them get held up for 40 minutes. It’s idiotic."
Pros: "Price"
Cons: "Online check in does not work, ever. Late boarding all 4 flights inconvenient access to boarding pass. Was required to stand in line for 30 minutes to get boarding pass for connection instead of getting boarding pass when I left. Also, no kiosk to get it myself. Just about missed my connection do to these delays. No one is in a hurry at this airline"
Pros: "Flight was ok."
Cons: "No free food or drink service."
Cons: "The chairs are so uncomfortable!"
Pros: "The free movies and the food was good."
Cons: "The seats are too close together."
Pros: "On time and friendly"
Pros: "The staff is very friendly and helpful."
Cons: "No announcements were made over the PA or out loud at any point for boarding, except for the last section."
Pros: "Timeliness of flight and service on board."
Cons: "We upgraded 7 travelers for priority boarding. However as we got through check in, 2 of us were told we had to check our carry on. Mind you our carry on was the same size (exact same suitcase) as 2 others in our party who did not have to check in their bags? "Priority Boarding is now only €4.99. Be the first on board to store your cabin bag and relax in your seat before take-off." I believe I am entitled to a refund based on the info on above taken directly from the Aer Lingus website."
Cons: "Free-for-all boarding was less than ideal. Boarding by seat rows as on Boston to Dublin flight would have been better."
Cons: "Missing connecting flight"
Pros: "Service, friendliness. The cabin crew seemed like truly genuine, nice people."
Cons: "the food was really expensive"
Pros: "Quick Boarding"
Cons: "Flight was delayed for an hour"
Pros: "Dublin airport is cold. Security between plane in correspondance area to crowded and unnecessary."
Cons: "The good part was that I paid for what i received. So anyway why do I complain."
Pros: "Flight left a little late and arrived early."
Cons: "There was no food and there was no entertainment."
Pros: "The flight was very bare bones. Entertainment system froze up half way into a movie. You had to pay for wine with dinner. Even on budget carriers, wine is included with meals on the long hauls. Half a cup of water was served twice during the flight. The cabin was kept quite cold. I wore thick socks and slippers throughout the flight, but had to use the small blanket provided to keep my feet warm. Glad I had a heavy coat! I will avoid this carrier on any long hauls in the future."
Cons: "Dinner not too good. Breakfast very poor. Cold flight. Entertainment not working. Avoid for long hauls."
Cons: "Short flight so N/A on food and entertainment. Crew were much nicer and friendly than our first leg of the trip."
Cons: "It was like squeezing everyone into a cattle truck and airport crew double book seats of a few passengers on a full flight so there was confusion on board"
Pros: "On time delivery"
Cons: "How many seats can you cram in to an airline cabin? So tightly packed it indicates a base level of disregard by the company for their customers. And nothing offered that didn't cost (no coffee, water...)"
Pros: "The blanket, pillow, leg room, food and drinks were excellent. The entertainment option was decent. The staff was pretty nice from check in to landing."
Cons: "The seats were not comfortable but the pillow helped."
Cons: "I can't actually make a comment on the food since u have to pay for it and I didn't want to. Nothing appealed enough to pay for it. Entertainment wise, there was no entertainment so I have it one star"
Pros: "Confort"
Cons: "Too cold"
Cons: "Not even free water"
Pros: "Friendly cabin crew."
Cons: "My baggage is still missing a week after my flight arrived and no news about it. I can't get in touch with anyone from the airline or who can help me. Pretty terrible experience."
Cons: "We arrived at Dublin airport two hours before our flight--as instructed--and had to enter an enormous line. Finally, we were instructed to leave the line after almost an hour and a half and were then informed that our tickets had been sold to someone else (we were bumped!). Aer Lingus tried to "normalize" this by explaining that they always "overbook" by 10%. How irresponsible! Instead of arriving in Paris at 4:30 PM (a direct flight) we had to take a flight to London and then to Paris and arrived at 11 PM exhausted (the bus service to Paris had closed down and we had to take a taxi). We will never fly Aer Lingus again. Aer Lingus created the long line to create this very situation!"
Pros: "I thought the staff worked very hard and were very friendly."
Cons: "Leg room was minimal. I don't think you should allow seats to go back since I inevitably sit behind someone who puts his all the way back and I feel like a pretzel. It seemed like a very expensive ticked to feel like that."
Pros: "check in process was easy"
Cons: "Our 2 carry-on bags were moved to checked in just before we got in. We were told that it was because it was a full flight. So what do I see in the overhead bins? 2 carry ons with "crew" tags. What bulls**t. This was a very good airline 20 years ago. Not anymore"
Pros: "The flight was so short that the food and entertainment part of this survey are. It applicable. They did serve food for purchase though and they had some good choices"
Pros: "We were only 7 across in Economy so that was comfortable. We also got feed. no surcharges! I slept so didn't check out the entertainment."
Cons: "I remember Aer Lingus being a quality airline that treated passengers well. Now charging for tea and water, and exorbitant fees for bags? Felt like Ryanair. If I want to feel like bottom of the barrel I'll just take them next time!"
Cons: "unable to contact Aer Lingus with question dealing with clearing customs once we land in the U. S. we were on hold for over an hour"
Cons: "Delays and crowded airport with little direction and no one around to help."
Cons: "No free snacks or drinks. I expected at least water and a small snack."
Cons: "The flight was cancelled"
Pros: "Crew was friendly"
Cons: "No entertainment and no snack I don't believe"
Pros: "The crew was very attentive and professional. The food was very good and plentiful. The entertainment options were very good. I have absolutely no complaints."
Cons: "No food or drinks included; everything was an extra charge."
Pros: "We were flying from Chicago to Paris and I choose a later connecting flight to make sure there were no issues. We arrived on time and asked to get on the earlier connection if there was room. Initially we were offered the change for a fee (those are the rules) but we were not willing to pay the extra expense and began to leave the counter. We were then offered the change at no charge. We were very thankful as this change/getting to Paris earlier allowed some sleep time to get over our jet lag faster. I flew Aer Lingus a few years before and was pleased so choose them again for this trip and they did not disappoint. I am a fan."
Pros: "Service was good"
Cons: "Delayed by 30 min"
Pros: "Punctual, newish aircraft."
Cons: "Tiny seats, mediocre food, so-so cabin service in Coach."
