I took a long time to start boarding past the announced boarding time. It was the replacement flight for the flight we were supposed to take the previous day. That one was cancelled because not enough airplanes were planned to be in operation. I don't like that you have to pay extra for food and luggage.
This leg of the trip was ok, though the check in agent could have given us assigned seats. I have a feeling though that agent could not as it became clear later on. Please see below. However, the leg from Zurich to San Francisco was horrendous. We only had less than 1.5 hours to transfer to a different gate using transfer train. We asked at the business lounge and were told to see the gate agent. When we went there there was a long line. As we approached business class desk, we were yelled at and the agent said "I will not talk to you". After a long wait, we were then told our seats will be assigned at the boarding time!!! After a time, the agent announced for volunteers as the business class was overbooked. We did get seats in the end but were separated at which point, we just decided it was not worth trying to ask for seats. I am not sure I will ever use Arrant Grant. I understand the Arrant Grant need to charge commission. However, what Lufthansa charged $10315.80 Canadian dollars ($7316.17 US dollars) was so much less than $12670.80 Arrant Grant charged me. I think commission of $5354,53 US dollars is too excessive. Also, I tried to upgrade to First Class and was told that we had upgraded once already and couldn't upgrade again. So, a terrible experience.
As a European regional carrier partner of Swiss Air/Luftansa, Helvetic did a great job.
Food too spicy. Very late boarding. Premium Econ seat did not recline.
picking up the meal trays quicker afterwards would have been nice. In tight spaces needing the drop down tray open with plates and wrappers on it feels very cluttered and uncomfortable. I loved that wheat bread. Im vegan and not sure what was vegan.
Checking in and crew were great. Seats in front of you in economy recline so much that you can't get out of your seat. I guess thats why its economy....

There was no entertainment on the plane no screen to watch anything from Zurich to LAX boarding was slow and very unorganized. as a result there was delayed I bouught in flight internet and it did not even worked after 10 minutes. no crew helped . I would like to get a refund on that. crew was not friendly
Flight was on time. Could have been a little more comfortable. Baby cried all night.
Flight was late and crew were unwilling to help with information on connections. Call light had been on for 61 minutes without tesponse.

Flight attendants on this flight were very lovely. Hot food was terrible. Canned wine felt elevated and was GOOD. The aircraft was overall not very clean. Although this one was much more cleanly than the flight from Pisa. Pilots were great & landings felt smooth and safe. As I mentioned in my last review, this was my first time flying aer Lingus in many years and I cannot say I will be rushing to book again. This airline needs a real facelift.
Everything went extremely smoothly! They boarded by groupings of seat numbers starting from back to front. All staff very helpful and accommodating. Food and beverage plentiful and good.
The plane from Venice to Dublin ran out of food. They did not restock the plane in Venice.
Most narrow seat of my life. Easyjet has larger seats. And as I just wrote in the last comment section - Seat 1A promises luxury after a great businessflight. Instead, it's narrow, the seatbelt is 20cm shorter than the one in 1B, it's just a joke.
