I didn't like their (Turkish Business lounge)policy for not letting me have the room to sleep as the layover was more than 7hrs. I was told to ask for a hotel at reception. When i did, they said that they dont have any hotel inside and cant take me to ourside hotel too. The staff at reception of lounge was not courteous either. I only needed the room to sleep for 3 or 4 hrs. Anyway, the flight itself was great, no complaints"
Cons: "Missed Flight: The flight from Istanbul to Athens was posted as delayed. We were a party of eight and arrived for boarding very close to deadline (minus posted delays) At the boarding gate we were met by six other passengers. The gate was vacant and closed. The real problem happened at the Turkish Airlines desk where we were treated with arrogance, disdain and absolutely no compassion. AS a matter of fact some of the Turkish Airlines staff smiled as they imposed an outrageous fine to purchase tickets to the next flight and continuation of our previous booking. We intend to protest the charges and contact thru many forms of media inform as many fellow travellers of the incident and subsequent treatment by Turkish Airlines. Social media is a powerful tool and although the cards were held in their favor the night of 9-21-17 our protest will not end here. We are fourteen wounded travellers that have agreed to use as many forms of social media as possible to get our message out."

Cons: "Passport Control at Ataturk International was a nightmare with hundreds of people ahead of us in the queue. No Police to secure the area, so people rushed the line pushing us aside and jumped the queue, this happened repeatedly. I would advise people NOT to fly into this airport and expect to make your connecting flight, because it doesn't play out well at all. We were in line for 2 hours and witnessed people pushing, shoving, yelling at strangers and generally acting like animals. I found the whole experience highly disturbing."

My bags were lost in Frankfurt and no one could help me. I filled out a report at the airport, but the office there said they were too busy to give me a reference number. They said they would send me an email but NEVER did! I tried contacting SunExpress, but it is just an automated system. I tried contacting the airport in Izmir, but they were no help either. United would not help me because they said it is the responsibility of their "partner airline", although I entrusted my luggage to United at DFW to take care of my personal property and it was United who had it last in Frankfurt. I got the run around from everyone.
One of us was moved to a middle seat, which we didn't expect. Not a big problem, but not the seat we had reserved. Intercom volume was low, making it hard for us Americans to understand the captain's announcements in English. Appreciate the captain announcing when we were flying over Lake Como.
I traveled Lufthansa many times in the past when they had Portland-Frankfurt direct flights. The service and food was superior on those flights compared to what I experienced on this recent flight. Food was terrible. Drink service came by once with no follow up. (would have like a second glass of wine). Entertainment selections were boring. (too much Tom Cruise!) Headphones did not work at all. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I question if I'd fly Lufthansa again.
The cabin was a bit warm, and I felt pretty cramped in my seat. The pilots did a fantastic job flying. Landing is my least favorite part of flying, but I didn’t clutch my husband or the seat in front of me when they landed at Dulles.

That was extremely inconvenient. Lufthansa was amazing at getting me a same day rebooking, but the UA plane I was booked on was a little older. I was already a bit sick with a head cold and the heating element was very dry heat.. it made everyone pretty miserable on the flight. I was a bit disappointed to have to be rescheduled off of Lufthansa."

Cons: "I was denied boarding on the Dublin to Munich leg of my connecting flight from Newark to Munich. My ticket was booked through Lufthansa, but the transatlantic leg of my trip was operated by United. When checking in with United in Newark, I received two boarding passes, one for each leg of the trip. I arrived on time in Dublin for my flight to Munich and tried to board the plane for Munich with the boarding pass I had printed in Newark. After scanning my ticket, the Lufthansa employees at the gate informed me that they had no record of me or my plane ticket in their system. I showed them the email confirmation for my ticket, but they still could not find any record of my ticket in their online system. The employees seemed more concerned with boarding all passengers as quickly as possible than assisting me. After being denied boarding, I had to go back through passport control to change my flight, and ended up getting to Munich nearly 6 hours behind schedule and missed an entire day of vacation. A Lufthansa employee told me that out of every partner in the STAR alliance, United is the ONLY airline they have had this problem with. I find this inexcusable, I will be AVOIDING ANY United/Lufthansa connecting flight from now on."

On disembarkation I saw the stewardess and reminded her of her promise of help . She sweetly wished me a "pleasant weekend". The cabin crew did not seem to care much over the discomfort of an elderly traveler in economy class."

Flight attendant said the plane had issues with the "control panel because it was an old plane". The worst part was when a female flight attendant wouldn't move her feet over a few inches while sitting in her chair, so that I (a pregnant woman) could use the closest bathroom to my seat in the back cabin. I had to ask her twice and both times she confirmed "She was on her break and would not move her feet" so that I could use the bathroom. Also note, the seatbelt sign was off but that wasn't even her excuse. The bathrooms were dirty and the toilet seats need to be replaced to be asked to sit on those is degrading!"

Having said that, this was a one time mediocre experience that I'm reviewing and hasn't put me off AL at all - it's a good airline and I will continue flying with them."

But he went away and never came back, no any response of YES or NO. 2.I don't know why the airline company still need 11 hours to rebook the tickets with all our flight information and our passport liscen numbers already , making us waiting till 3 am at the airport. 3. I asked my boyfriend to talk to the staff on phone, and the staff told my BF that he didn't know my English was not good. I said to him loudly that I had told him , but the manager besides said "don't shout at my staff"to me, even without asking me what happened . Cons: "Couldn't check in for the second leg of the flight to the US, neither on-line nor at the departing airport, had to go to connections in Dublin. I flew to the US many times and this is the first time an airline IT system does not allow to check in for the US destination. The food was very mediocre. Inflight entertainment didn't work properly."

Pros: "We were flying from Chicago to Paris and I choose a later connecting flight to make sure there were no issues. We arrived on time and asked to get on the earlier connection if there was room. Initially we were offered the change for a fee (those are the rules) but we were not willing to pay the extra expense and began to leave the counter. We were then offered the change at no charge. We were very thankful as this change/getting to Paris earlier allowed some sleep time to get over our jet lag faster. I flew Aer Lingus a few years before and was pleased so choose them again for this trip and they did not disappoint. I am a fan."
Cons: "I wrote to Aer Lingus many times to change my son's flight (I couldn't book him on the proper flight due to an issue on the Aer Lingus web site). I had to wait on hold for hours, and even though they admitted the mistake was theirs would not change his flight to match ours (which we booked via KAYAK)."
Long lines to check in at 5 am on October 22 and no nowhere to sit at Izmir airport waiting for the Munich bound flight ticket check in to open.
They literally destroyed our luggage, 3 out of 4 wheels broke, the luggage had some sort of oil (smelled like olive oil) all over the luggage and even damaged some of the items inside (as the luggage cracked everywhere this oily substance got in).
The WiFi didn’t work throughout the whole flight. So we couldn’t access the entertainment and we couldn’t even access the English food menu since the QR code only works if you’re on the plane’s WiFi.
Crew was helpful; food was horrible AND expensive; they had us wait on the tarmac on a bus for nearly 30 minutes; the flight departed more than 90 minutes late and weather was NOT an issue. Miserable really, but at least my luggage arrived and we didn’t die - could have been worse I guess.
The staff is super nice and happily works with everyone in need of something. Prepare to have cash in Euro on you to buy drinks and food.

Here’s the truth / I paid $29 for a flight that lasted 45 minutes - so the experience was short on the plane and the expectations I had, given the price tag, were humble. However the airline was comprised of professional and courteous people. Long on smiles, short on legroom on the Boeing 737-800 - but what else would one expect? Nicely done to the folks at SunExpress.
It was really hot whole the time during the flight
Ticketing was a nightmare! Did the online check in never to receive email tickets and upon arrival at the airport, long lines taking an hour to get your boarding passes then running though security to the gate. The web site was not working, overall We could have missed our flight.

The procedure didn't seem to delay the flight, but just seemed a little pointless and a waste of effort. Thankfully there wasn't anything found or any other cause for alarm, but it just seemed odd."

I flew out of Orly, which is a nice, small airport that looks like a ghost town on one half of the check-in terminal. There are electronic kiosks which look like check-in kiosks but they don't work, and a whole floor of empty check-in booths with NO SIGNS as to where to go. I had to go to the information desk to find out where your check-in staff was - which is quite frustrating for a person who travels as much as I do. This should be easy, right? The trains in Paris are under construction during the summer. The whole transport system is screwed up (also lack of signs as to where to actually catch your train). So you're ALREADY stressed about catching your flight, and when you show up at the airport the check-in terminal (where is appears Transavia is located) is EMPTY?! That is RIDICULOUS. I am NOT a tourist. I LIVE & WORK all over Europe as an artist. I don't appreciate this sick twisted pleasure that some Europeans have in seeing confused tourists rush around like chickens with their heads cut off when their own infrastructure breaks down...because it DOESN'T JUST AFFECT THE TOURISTS! It's not cool. It's sadistic & a really crappy way to treat people who are just trying to appreciate and learn about your culture while supporting your economy while they're at it. A little bit of consideration goes a LONG way. And when it's severely lacking, as it was in this case, it makes me want to take my business & creative projects elsewhere. You have a whole Transavian UTOPIA one floor down from the main level. How about a few big TRANSAVIA SIGNS saying "ONE LEVEL DOWN" that tell people where to go instead of making everyone confused and mad when they're already in a rush to catch their plane?! How about a little empathy - seeing travel from the perspective of the TRAVELER? Just saying."
