Cons: "The real reason for the negative review is a combination of the cost of this flight, loss of my baggage and poor service after the flight. I paid nearly $4,500 for an economy ticket from New York to New Delhi. The first leg of the flight, from New York to Zurich was delayed long enough that I made my connecting flight to Delhi within seconds of them closing the gate and as a result my baggage was lost. Once I got to Delhi I had to take a connecting flight to Goa and then drive an hour to my destination, where I was attending a good friend's wedding. All of my baggage was lost during transit by the airline, and unfortunately they never delivered by baggage to my hotel...so I was without formal clothes and normal clothes for the wedding for 4 days. The customer service line was no help, and the airline refused to deliver the baggage to me...the closest they would bring it was the Goa airport which was an hour and a half away."

We estimated that 20-25% of the people on that flight did not receive their luggage as they were in line with us for the same problem. Hard to understand how so many pieces of luggage could have been overlooked and not loaded on our flight. Obviously there is a huge gap in their quality system to ensure mistakes like this are prevented."

After waiting an additional 15 minutes for a wheelchair, I was deposited in a waiting area, where a second wheelchair arrived after another long wait. Told me I might not make the plan (I did). Overall a very unpleasant and nasty experience. With the exception of the very nice lady (Mrs. Ilser?? ) who checked in my luggage, none of the other 3 persons at the express and regular check-in spoke decent German or English, and none was helpful (Go there, wait!!!) Barely made the plane in MUC, Heathrow turned out much better than the touted German efficiency. Please forward to Lufthansa customer relations. Dr. W. Hartwig"

Good job that I did because with out their help we would never have made it in time for your flight to Denver. Between up and down in elevators, running along the corridors, in and out of a bus and I myself trying to catch up with those poor attendants. I was sorry that I did not get a second wheel chair for my self. Only for the flight was delayed by about 20 minutes we would have missed the flight. Who ever was responsible for making the arrangements of just allowing a time of 1 hour and 10 minutes between flights needs to figure out a better time schedule before people of our age ends up getting stressed out and end up with a heart attack. Cons: "My American partner's passport expires 2 months after our return to the US. Unfortunately, the French issued a year ago the following rule: to enter France, the foreign passport must not expire at least 3 months after the return date. British Airways let us fly to London, explaining this to us, how it would be on us if there were problems further down, and that we would have to get our luggage in London. We chose to fly thinking it would be OK, we had listened to an online person who had had the same problem and the French later told him they would have let him in, also I am myself a dual citizen of France and the US, plus I am autistic, an invisible disability (in my case) that makes it impossible for me to travel alone. I usually do not even say it since not much is understood -by those who do not have it- on how to accommodate it However in London BA did not allow my partner to go on. Due to the fact yesterday was Easter Monday, the American consulate in London was closed. We have spent the night in a nearby motel and now, the next day, I am waiting alone back at the airport with our 2 large suitcases while my partner is at the American consulate. We are poor, do not have phone, currency or charger for England, and I do not do well with stress, so it is difficult. Now we cannot easily reach one another. We hope to be able to fly on a standby basis (that's what BA told us we could hopefully do) later today. Sorry for this long letter, I hope it does not bore whoever reads it (if it is even read :). No thought to wipe bottom before handing it to me. Everything about them was a lack of attention and asking for assistance was a bother. Food so so. Not impressed. They sold me a legal connection but my bag missed it. Landing disorganized. Busses to terminal took to long given we were 10 minutes late."

Pros: "Because of a sudden mobility problem, for the first time ever I requested mobility assistance. I assume your personnel providing this assistance are some of your lower paid. Their assistance in Bangkok, London and Manchester was fantastic; I wish I had recorded the names of each helper so I could praise them individually. They smoothly got us through check-in procedures, delivered us to boarding gates. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble to them. They made what might have been an unbearable trip totally trouble free. Thank you all."
