Pros: "Nothing. The fact that I booked my ticket via British Airways, but operated by Iberia made my situation very confusing. Iberia didn't offer me a connection flight from MAD to VLC when there was a 6 hours delay from JFK to MAD."

There was neither ownership nor responsibility held accountable by Iberia to help me find a connection flight between MAD to VLC. I had to pay for a Renfe ticket on my own to get to VLC - Nightmare!"

Cons: "Boarding at venice was a disaster. they changed gate without annoncing it in english. I am sure they did it in Italian but not every travel speaks italian. getting on bus to airplane was not organized at all. staff let people ahead of me taking their carry on bags larger than my normal size bag but asked me to check in mine. i thought perhaps i am amoung the last and there is no room left. how ever while i was waiting they let many others take their carry on with them. i explained them that i have expensive Murrano glass in my carry on and prefer not to check in or at least provide a tag to mark it fragile. response was that we are out of tag! and i have no choioce. i was very upset theway they trreated me and told them i will file a complain and took their picture. almost by the time i was getting on bus one of crew approached me with at Fragile tag to add to my bag. after all when i received my carry on bag in LAX many of my gifts were smashed and broken."
Cons: "Plane was making strange noise Way too cold on the plane . When I asked for blanket they gave me one that wasn’t wrapped. I didn’t like that they didn’t even offer anything to drink for free."
Cons: "Virtually impossible to feel comfortable that I had successfully checked in. The app kept telling Facebook me I wasn't checked in. AND when I went to review the checked baggage policy to make sure I didn't have to pay for my first checked bag (there was a "YES" notice on a prior screen that made me wonder), the app didn't give me a way to "return to finish check in". Quite unsatisfactory in this day and age. Otherwise, the flight was lovely."

Pros: "Very smooth security and boarding process at Gatwick. It was worth the extra $11 to have pre-selected my seat, 9C, in the second row of Coach on the aisle. The seating was a bit cramped, and the flight was full, but being up front made everything more pleasant. The landing process in Valencia went very well, and the metro to the town center was very efficient."

I didn't realize that any transatlantic airline still ran films on common screens, 1970s-style. Just how old were our planes?"

Pros: "I liked how the Spanish Police Woman at the Passport station left her post at 6:50 am, with hundreds of people still on line for 0710 flights, knowing that her shift change came at 0700, to go "help" a pregnant woman who had fainted behind us! She did absolutely nothing to help out-but then conveniently was "replaced" by the next shift guy at 0700! What a farce!"
Cons: "Okay. We arrived at 0500 for our 0710 flight. British Airways had 3 or 4 stations open to process about 120 passengers-and the lines were painfully slow and inefficient. It was horrible. Finally, at 0630 we finished and then had to deal with the fiasco at passport control which was likely worse. You need to have more agents or kiosks so that people can print their own damn boarding passes. Get modernized! Stop being deliberately obstinate! Further, to charge passengers for coffee and poor snacks is abominable! No frills? Yeah, you can take that to the bank!!"

Cons: "People like old when it comes to history, traditions, restaurants etc. But when it comes to travel and technology people don't. Two of my friend's entertainment monitors were broken, bugs with the program all the time, no wifi on board. Compared to other airlines BA was quite disappointing."

Cons: "Going through TSA in Newark Airport was HORRENDOUS. A TSA agent grabbed my things out of my hand and threw it on the belt without any consent from me. I was still unpacking my carry on, to abide to the rules and no she just wouldn't have it and was very rude."
Pros: "Nobody bugged me about plugging my laptop and cellphone into the wall for charging. I wanted to check out the spice shops in the airport but they were closed both times I was there. That would have been something I might have liked."
Cons: "Customs in Trinidad, even for transit is a pain. You go through customs, get dumped outside, have to recheck your luggage whenever the counter decides its going to open. 11 hour layover on the way down, 6 hour layover on the way up. Food options were fried chicken (KFC), fried chicken (Churches), fried chicken (the local franchise), and Subway. Since the layover was late at night and I was a woman traveling alone, I did not want to leave the airport (and still drag my luggage because the airline counter was not open yet to check in to my connecting flight)."

Cons: "After the entire flight was boarded & ready to go the plane had a mechanical issue before take off. Had to sit on the plan for 90 minutes before we were allowed to exit the plane. No other flights available For family of three until 3 days later! Had to demand to be transferred to another airline so my family & I can go home the next morning. Overall stuck in SNA airport for 8 hours. Didn’t get a refund for baggage, instead was given meal vouchers for the airport in the morning. United did provide hotel for the night but nothing special. United staff where nice to make the best of the situation."

No wonder there were lines wrapping around terminal 3/4 times. I know this is not directly related to airline but since u insist on flying out of newark it is indirectly. They say la guardia is third world well then newark is fourth/fifth world. Chaos absolute chaos. Please god i will never have to fly united /Lufthansa out of newark again."
