I actually rented at the wrong location. I reserved a car at the train station rathe then the airport. When I did get to the airport they couldn’t transfer the reservation so I had to trek to the train station and once there was greeted by Juan Pablo, who was above and beyond amazing. Got me into my car, changed the drop off/return to the airport and made sure my phone was working with CarPlay. The car I chose was nice, even if a bit lager for the roads of the small towns I visited, but it worked out well.

Easy pickup and drop off. Unfortunate that the car had so many undocumented dings and marks that I had to ensure became documented as I was afraid I would be blamed. In the end everything was ok and nothing came back on me. Overtime would be comfortable renting again.

They canceled my appointment an hour before arriving so they could rent the car to someone else for 4 times as much. What's the point of a reservation that they don't honer? It's not a reservation, it's a complicated and dumb ticket system that is premptable based on their greed.

A little expensive. The attendant at pickup was extremely friendly and spoke English very well. However, he assured me twice that the car I ordered was available. When I arrived for pickup, He hit me with the ol’ switcharoo. I either had to wait 25 minutes for my car to arrive, or pay 10€ per day for another car.

Worst ever customer service. Stupid processes. It all started w not being forewarned about needing an international drivers license! This cost us over €100 and we’ve not needed one anywhere in Europe in 5 years of travelling. Things did not get better after that. You get what you pay for.

First, shuttle service was slow! Which is surprising for such a large airport. Second, the card that was assigned was dirty and had some damage. Third and the worst, they charged me an extra $18 for "Fuel Service" even though I filled up and brought back full. The return receipt even noted it was brought back full! Still haven't been refunded after multiple calls. May have to end up disputing thru my credit cards company.

I could not rent a car, because I was told that I rented a car via US site and it did not include car insurance, so they either wanted my credit card (which I did not have) to proceed with renting or pay 2 times more that I initially paid for reservation for the insurance, which is totally unacceptable. As a result I had to refuse, but I was not returned full money, europcar charged me for 3 days, though I tried very hard to cancel the reservation before the deadline, but was unable to do it because the mobile website did not work properly and did not display "cancel" button (I have a screenshot proof of that), so when I got home, I did not have an option to cancel the reservation and had to resolve the situation by calling to support, which helped to return the money for 11 days of 14, but still I had to pay 3 days and that is not even my fault! that is awful. The worst renting experience I've had so far.

There was no ACE Rental Car in the Valencia Airport and the company did not provide any solutions to me. I had to rent a car at the airport counter at a much higher price.

Awful. Placed a booking for a car and the price was 52$ . When I collected the car I was told to pay 69.99 for insurance. So in my mind this is 69.99 plus 52$ which is around 46€ . So 46 + 69.99 is 115.99 I got charged 142€. But of a difference in price. Not at all impressed. Just feel like I’ve been ripped off.
