Nice easy flight. Crew was very nice and of all the times I have bought a seat for my guitar - this was the easiest. They were prepared and no problems at all.
Pros: "Best flight in a long time - comfortable seats, good food and service, good entertainment."
Cons: "Can’t think of anything"
Cons: "Flight was delayed once we had boarded, so we had to sit at the gate for about 2 hours, which was not the crew's fault of course, however, they could have offered drinks. Once we finally got in the air, they only offered purchasable snacks in a way that was confusing--and did not even come through the cabin with complimentary drinks. Given the circumstances, and the fact the time in our seats was extended by over two hours, there could have been some better service from the actual flight attendants. It should have been clearly stated at the beginning of the flight, and once more when we were in the air, that no complimentary drinks were going to be handed out, and if we wanted anything, we would need to purchase it. I wouldn't have minded purchasing if I had known that was my only option."
Pros: "Out of my four flights with Aer LIngus, this leg of my trip that both left and arrived on time. It is sad, that when landing they had to say thank you for flying another on time Aer LIngus flight. Makes me wonder how often are you not on time? My experience says 75% of the time your late."
Cons: "First off, don't try charging me 150 euros to check my bags when I already paid for it at booking. Then who charges for 2,50 for a can soda on an air plane? Lastly, I'm 6'4" and the seats were so close there was no way to sit without my knees pressed into the seat in front of me."
Pros: "Hostess were helpful and friendly"
Cons: "Middle seat in first row and my bag half way down the plane so although I could’ve been first off I was in actual effect the very last."
Cons: "Dublin airport No suitcase when we arrived No food. No inflight entertainment"
Cons: "No TV on board and you had to pay for a glass of water"
Pros: "When I finally settled into my seat on the British Airline and that Hostess came around and offered me a couple of free drinks that was the best thing that happened to me all day."
Cons: "For an older couple like us did not like having to climb the steps up into the Plane and being out in the rain did not help. However that was not the worst part of the arrangement between getting off the Aer Lingus plane and with so little time to reach the gate for our BA flight to Denver it was a total disaster. Due to a minor problem my wife had with her foot I had asked for a wheel-chair to be available when we got off the plane at Heatrow. Good job that I did because with out their help we would never have made it in time for your flight to Denver. Between up and down in elevators, running along the corridors, in and out of a bus and I myself trying to catch up with those poor attendants. I was sorry that I did not get a second wheel chair for my self. Only for the flight was delayed by about 20 minutes we would have missed the flight. Who ever was responsible for making the arrangements of just allowing a time of 1 hour and 10 minutes between flights needs to figure out a better time schedule before people of our age ends up getting stressed out and end up with a heart attack. Very stressful indeed, believe I will never let this happen to me again. Fly/Us you need to fix this."
Pros: "NO SECURITY CHECK FOR INBOUND FLIGHTS. What a relief!"
Cons: "Cramped rickety stairs, up & down to Passport control. In flight service non-existent. Tepid coffee at absurd $4.50!"
Pros: "I love Aer Lingus, they appear to be always on time and nice comfy seats. No problem boarding, was nice and quick."
Cons: "Nothing to not like at mo."
Cons: "I needed wheelchair assistance due to a back injury. The person that picked me up at the aircraft from London was terrific, l was taken to the terminal and told that another team member would take me to the aircraft. No one showed up until the aircraft was fully boarded, then he left me at the beginning of the ramp instead of wheeling me to the aircraft. I was very disappointed! I was so disappointed I didn’t wait for a pickup at the airport in Amsterdam. I regret it, because I’m in so much pain!"
Cons: "Wow! BA has managed to finally match Ryan Air and Easy Jet for tight seat pitch and charging for soft drinks but at thrice the price!!!"
Cons: "They charge for coffee and soft drinks and have no snacks complimentry"
Pros: "The flight crew"
Cons: "Never board check in luggage at lcy, they don't know what to do with it"
Pros: "Crew very professional and staff well informed."
Cons: "Feels like a bus in the sky. Same device as Ryanair but not on time."
Pros: "Planes are well maintained"
Cons: "Rigid attitude of the staff that goes the extra mile to find ways to irritate and upset clients"
Pros: "Crew were friendly"
Cons: "Poor entertainment - no individual TV screen or choice of entertainment. Food was very poor. We were 9 min late due to crew shortages."
Cons: "Tight squeeze. No leg room. No complimentary snacks or drinks. Plane was slow to leave and take off."
Pros: "The crew did their best. They were efficient and polite, no complaints"
Cons: "First of all, it wasn’t British Airways, it was operated by American Airlines. The seats were cramped; just barely enough kneeroom and I’m only 5’10”. There were no monitors on the seat backs and no choice of entertainment, only monitors hanging from the ceiling. I suppose the airline assumes, probably correctly, that these days everybody has their own entertainment on laptop or tablet. The problem here, though, was that there were no charging plugs at the seats, so you’d better have a full battery when you get on and hope it lasts. Of course, I could have just read the inflight magazine, except that my reading light was broken. Food was decent for airline food."
Pros: "Gatwick is very well organized, making the boarding process very smooth. The flight to Amsterdam is short - only an hour. And the crew was friendly and efficient."
