Being threatened by the desk guyPros: I did like the price and the Ford Fiesta.Cons: When we picked up the car it took us 40 min. I did book the cars in Kayak.com. They have the the chance of having insurance for 9€/day. And I booked the 2 cars with the Kayak,s Insurance. When we wanted to get theses cars, there was a blond woman that insisted in havin to pay 27€ a car in terms of getting the insurance... otherwise we had to pay over 2000€. She took over 2000€ from my credit card to book 2 Ford Fiesta, but before she had been so rude to me. Telling that I might be robbed, or that she has noting to do with Kayak. She made me feel quite miserable, and she got my nerves. My escursion to Kokenhauf with my family... ruined. After that his partner took like 8 min reviewed each car to see if there was something wrong to charge me when we were back. Like 5h later and 84kms. I really though she was going to come up with something to screw me... because I didn't want to pay daily insurance twice.

Long Line + BS EZ Fuel ChargePros: Nice new car.Cons: Waited 60 minutes in line to receive the car. Yes, they had 3 agents working there, but everyone showed up at once and they new it was the case as they now how many cars they release in a day. No line or queue setup either so it was a bit of a free for all in getting up to the front. Finally when returning the car to this location you just have to park it in the neighborhood. Which, leaves you liable for the cars damage, parking charges, and so on until they are open again and receive the car in. Then, to top it all off because I returned the car after hours and was unable to show a gas receipt (when I filled it all the way up) I was charged a flat rate EZ Fuel charge.

Wrong Car, Wrong Insurance, Big HeadacheCons: When I arrived, the car I booked wasn't available. The car they replaced it with was too small for our group, so we were stuck cramped in a tight space and having to shuttle back and forth for our whole trip. I asked for full insurance coverage and only received basic coverage. Now they say there is a small scratch on the bumper and have charged 850 euros to my credit card for the damage. This has been an absolute nightmare.

Pros: The automobile was great -- Volvo xc60, almost new.Cons: The rental pickup and return was terrible. I tried to change the location for the pickup and return, and spent hours on the phone trying to contact the locations themselves, without success. I first called from the U.S. to try to pick up the car in the city of Amsterdam instead of Schipol airport -- I was told this would cost me an additional $900! Attempts to reach the rental locations in Amsterdam to confirm this were impossible - on hold for more than an hour. When I went to Schipol airport to pick up the car, they told me that I could have picked up the car in the city center at no extra charge! Similar situation on the dropoff -- I was unable to reach any location to see if I could drop the car closer to my hotel in Paris. Finally, I left a pair of sunglasses in the car. I spent three days trying to call the bureau to see if they were found, and also emailed the customer service departments in Paris and Amsterdam. No response

Got charged for an extra day for nothingPros: Car in good condition, no issues.Cons: Rented for one day, got charged for two :-( Booked from 9am till 9am; got the keys at around 9:40 (line + preparing the car), ***asked by a staff member to return between 9 and 10am***, returned at 9:55. Time in the receipt — 9:20 to 10:02. Support doesn't care and claims I was late according to the contract. After the second email they explicitly said, "we are unable to comment on the remark our staff member may have made", but did refund me the insurance for that extra day! I don't get the logic at all, and even more I don't get the attitude. Extremely upset.
