Also... there was a meal on the flight but not option was given to those who are vegetarians to request a special meal at time of booking or later on while managing the booking... this was a bit unfair in my mind that my only option was a pasta and meat sauce meal so I did not get to eat... also... within my Star Alliance menber account I am listed as a vegetarian meal... so it should have been automatic just as it is on Swiss, Lufthansa, Etc... when I fly with them."

Flight attendants could have been courteous by asking them to keep the noise low. My baggage did not arrive for 4 days in Cairo and no one was responding to calls and even went to airport twice . offices were closed during day time . Last day before leaving with the help of a travel agent I was lucky to get my luggage. There was almost a brawl at airport as people were unhappy because their baggage did not come from tel aviv to cairo. Very poor handling of delayed baggage. Not even a call from the airline. Not sure if it was offloaded in Tel Aviv or Athens."
Cons: "With Kayak I booked Tel Aviv to Malta with 1 hour stop in Athens. The first flight was delayed by an hour hence making me lose my second flight. Aegean then booked me on a flight to Catania (Italy) for a different connection to Malta. Only that this Aegean flight was also delayed by an hour making me miss the second connection. Eventually I arrived in Malta 15 hours later than scheduled. Aegean customer service reps were extremely unhelpful and made this 10 times more difficult. I missed a whole vacation day, amassed roaming telephone charges and on top of that missed a reservation for Dinner in the Sky Malta."
Cons: "The flight was delayed 3 hours and there was very little information offered as to what to expect. I was grateful I did not have a connecting flight as surely I would have missed it. The gate agent seemed to be completely lost and at one point started boarding and then had to ask those that had boarded to deplane. The seats were rather uncomfortable to begin with but then add to that being in the last row next to the toilets and the galley AND with crew members stepping on the side of my seat to reach supplies in the overhead bin without warning."

Cons: "The flight kept being delayed and they jerked us around for several hours, updating the departure time three or four different times and changing the gate but not updating the board or consistently making announcements. They should have just made a decision and stuck with it and better communicated what was going on. My poor friend was waiting for me in Larnaca so she stayed at the airport each time thinking I would soon arrive."

Economy seating was very comfortable, the aircraft were attractive and immaculate, the crews were lovely and quick, and the food on both flights was shockingly good."

We had to exit the security area and walk over to Aegean Air desk in order to find out what was going on. This lack of information caused us additional delays as we sat in the airport waiting for an update. Aegean Air handed us a sheet saying that their service fell below the standard and that we were entitled to free flights, but we won't be able to use them as we were only in Greece for a limited time (on our honeymoon). It would be terrific if Kayak could get our flights refunded by Aegean Air. Thank you."

Food could be better for an 8 hour flight. Dry pasta with a splash of tomato sauce was our only Option. I did appreciate the nice blanket! And the seats had a nice recline. Nice plane and nice crew

Pros: "The crew did a good job dealing with so many customers and in one instance was able to resolve a minor conflict with seat way backs."
Cons: "The seats should be fixed to prevent them from going back as far as they do. With space so small as it is, it is unnecessary to have them go back so far if at all. The food was poor, especially the cold egg and pepper sandwich at the end. My guess is that they were suppose to be heated which would have made them much better but the crew decided to give them out cold."

Received headphones, a pillow and a blanket for the flight. Legroom was good, but probably cramped for people over 6'0" tall. 24 hour online check-in was smooth an trouble free. I like having the boarding pass on my phone. No paper to carry around."

Cons: "I was denied boarding on the Dublin to Munich leg of my connecting flight from Newark to Munich. My ticket was booked through Lufthansa, but the transatlantic leg of my trip was operated by United. When checking in with United in Newark, I received two boarding passes, one for each leg of the trip. I arrived on time in Dublin for my flight to Munich and tried to board the plane for Munich with the boarding pass I had printed in Newark. After scanning my ticket, the Lufthansa employees at the gate informed me that they had no record of me or my plane ticket in their system. I showed them the email confirmation for my ticket, but they still could not find any record of my ticket in their online system. The employees seemed more concerned with boarding all passengers as quickly as possible than assisting me. After being denied boarding, I had to go back through passport control to change my flight, and ended up getting to Munich nearly 6 hours behind schedule and missed an entire day of vacation. A Lufthansa employee told me that out of every partner in the STAR alliance, United is the ONLY airline they have had this problem with. I find this inexcusable, I will be AVOIDING ANY United/Lufthansa connecting flight from now on."

I literally spent the entire flight with my arms crossed to avoid pressing into him. That seat is meant for kids or very thin people. There should be a warning."

Cons: "It was a short flight, but we had to walk literally a mile (I measured it with my fitbit) to get to the gate to board. Manchester security is frustrating...they follow different rules. Turns out you DO have to have your camera and ANY electronics (European converter, batteries, charging stations) placed outside your carry on. Only place that did it. And then they kept me in security for over an hour to have 3 different levels of security ask me the same questions over and over again. Don't know why they flagged me...maybe a false positive...as usual they won't tell you a damn thing. But the security guys weren't bad people..just been given their orders."

By accident we found out the gate was closed from someone who happened to hear word that we were looking for the gate to JFK. Almost didn’t get on the flight. If we didn’t run who knows if we would have made it. If you are only giving people an hour to get to their connection, then don’t let them get held up for 40 minutes. It’s idiotic."

I later noticed one of the cabin crew eating a n apparently non-daily pasta dish. One toilet was also out of service."

When we landed we couldn't go anywhere because it took 20 minutes to get a paramedic on board for another traveler."

There were only about 10 people in front of us in this line, but the guy working the counter had no urgency and would frequently stop to make jokes and chat with his coworkers beside him. There was another woman in tears because she was about to miss her flight. Then, once we waited in another insanely long, slow line to board, our flight was delayed over an hour with us sitting on the plane, which caused about half the plane to miss their connecting flights (including us) in London. This then caused us to miss our final connection in the states, which happened to be a standby flight. When trying to rebook a flight to the states from London, we explained how difficult it would be to get another flight out of our original airport in the states since it was now the weekend. The customer service rep informed us that as long as British Airways 'fulfilled their contract' to get us back to the one destination, it wasn't their issue how we got another flight back home."

No boarding pass kiosks and unclear why they would not provide a digital one upon online check-in. Or rather it became clear as I handed over my debit card. Seats are intentionally designated apart from your travel companions so you'll pay more to have them switched to sit next your friend. Cabin is extra cramped. Ryannair is all-around terrible by budget airline standards."

By the time we paid for all our bags and did the whole dance of moving items from bag to bag to meet limits, we could have probably picked a better airline and had more comfort. They have a policy to charge for musical instruments, and even though there was space, on our return flight we were forced to check it, which we mostly try to avoid for safety of instrument...the way out no issue, the way back we got a stickler. Overall, for single travelers who don't care where you sit and just have a small bag, go for it. Trying to shoehorn a family of four plus instrument led to several up charges and annoying encounters at airport. I'll avoid next time."
