You can. Owing to the strong cultural ties between Ireland and the United States, both Aer Lingus, Ireland’s national airline, and Delta fly regularly between Dublin Airport (DUB) and New York’s John F Kennedy International Airport in the borough of Queens. If you’re looking for a one-stop solution because you love flying or would like to find a bargain flight, options to consider include any major European city, since most of them are connected to New York. Examples are flying with Air France via Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), with KLM via Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam (AMS), with Lufthansa via Frankfurt Airport (FRA), with British Airways, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines or Virgin Atlantic via London Heathrow (LHR), and with Icelandair via Reykjavik Keflavik (KEF).
There are a number of ways to get to Manhattan from JFK. A reliable way to get to the downtown area of the Big Apple is to take the AirTrain JFK, which connects all terminals to the New York City Subway (Howard Beach–JFK Airport or Jamaica stations), which will take you across the East River to Manhattan. The trip costs around $8.50 (€7) (about $6 (€5) to enter the AirTrain and about $2.50 (€2) to ride the subway) and takes 1h, more or less. Buses, taxis, and e-hailing services are available, but New York traffic often has snarl-ups so the subway is a wise choice.

I would have liked an aisle seat but because the flight was full I couldn’t be accommodated. All in all it was fine.
At the gate I got bumped from my reserved aisle seat to a window. Not a huge deal for a one-hour flight, but the "free seat reservations" are indeed "free" but not "reservations".
Alt vel, det ar jo en enkel flytur på 2,5 timer
More water delivery and less time between meals. Good food and staff
