Overall it was good experience and it was my first trip with Aer Lingus. One thing I was embarrassed was that someone occupied my seat so I was asked to use another seat. Due to this unhappy happening I almost missed the connecting flight because the random seat was far from the flight door. Food was fine, I liked the macaroni and cheese with fresh bread.

I was very disappointed that the online sys allowed me to get the boarding pass for the second leg of the trip, when I clearly request it for both flights!

It was my first transatlantic flight with Aer Lingus. Very enjoyable. Thank you for making international travel enjoyable again.

The space between seats has reduced even further making it extremely uncomfortable. Couldn't even open the tray table properly or got compressed the moment the front guy reclined.

The seat pitch was a little tight for me, but I survived. There was a volatile, enraged passenger a couple of rows ahead of me and the cabin crew defused and resolved the situation calmly, quickly, and successfully.

My experience with Aer Lingus was nice, and I would be happy to fly with them again. However, my seat pocket had not been cleaned and had dirty wipes in it. I have flown with Aer Lingus before and do not recall anything like that happening, so presumably this was a one-off kind of thing. For the meal, I asked if there was possibly one without my allergens and the flight attendant gave me the one she thought would be fine. She did not know what allergens were in it, but when I received the meal the allergens were all listed right on the top of the package, so I was confused about why she didn’t know how to check what they were. In future, I will see if it’s possible to request an allergen-free meal ahead of time. But overall, I had a pleasant experience. My experience with Underpricer was very unenjoyable and because of them I do not plan to book through Kayak in the future. I have used Kayak numerous times, but this booking experience was so unpleasant. They called me numerous times and also emailed me to try to get me to select a seat. However, when I had a question later on, I was kept on hold for 20/30 minutes before I finally hung up. I also emailed them but never received a response, which I did not appreciate, especially given their previous frequent calls when they wanted something from me.

We booked a flight from FCO(Rome) with a stop over at DUB(Dublin) going to JFK. Boarding from Rome was kind of chaotic since the airport I guess is very small and we needed to shuttle to the airplane. The gate agent just let everyone and anyone go without using the sections so that took a lot longer than usual boarding. From drinking to JFk boarding was good and organized. Amazingly the flights was very smooth sailing and we’ve flown American big airplane to small companies before. The aircraft’s itself is on the older side, can’t complain tho because the plane ride wa smooth. For a 3 hour plane ride, nothing was complimentary. But for the longer leg of the plane complimentary snacks, meals and drinks were provided which was great. The food wasn’t bad either. I would fly with them again, great price and good service.

Comfortable trip , flight attendants professional as always. Only complaint was the food, We fly Aer Lingus frequently, this was the first time the quality of the meal was poor.

Everything went well. I made my connection which is always a concern.

I appteciate the very courteous staff. The flight was good. Something that wasn't good was that my bag was only checked as far as Dublin and I had a connecting flight to Vienna. (That was a mistake the ORD desk made.) Fortunately the desk at DUB was able to re-tag without me having to re-check in (which initially it seemed I might have to do.)

Could not understand what the attendant was saying during his announcements.

Terrible, it’s a mess with the strike. Couldn’t do the Smithers flight because my flight to Vanvouver was cancelled and there is no customer service help to get refund or help

It would have been better if it wasn’t cancelled

Economy seats always cramped, no meal on international flight, no plugs for electronics, but we got there and cabin crew was excellent.

I paid for comfort plus seats but did not get the extra leg room. When I told the stewardess, she just ignored me.

It would have been better if food is served on a 4 hours’ flight

Flight delayed by 90 min making for a 2 am check in at destination hotel.

I did not noticed baggage was separate - I had assumed international flights included luggage, so it surprised me I had to pay to check a bag.

No room when you sit. Fell very cramped. Food was only ok. Service was acceptable. Entertainment system was very buggy.

Bad service as well. Another 3hr delayed flight from chicago to Charlotte.

There was no lounge at Boston for us to use. Typically flying first class overseas comes with lounge privileges. The seats did not recline even a little. My headset only worked on one side. I felt like I was flying on Ryan Air, not Icelandic Air.

Boarded with no problems. Sat on the tarmac for an hour before taking off. We were the last ones on our connecting flight. Didn't think we were going to make it. Our flight to Iceland was similarly delayed. When we've flown other airlines, pilots have tried to make up time while in the air. This doesn't seem to be something that Icelandair does. We made all of our flights, but it was stressful and we didn't think it was going to happen based on the time we arrived.

The flight was delayed and as a consequence we missed our connecting flight. Were stuck for another 6h in Reykyavik. Appreciated that we got a generous food voucher at least. Would have liked to see more information upon arrival including a person waiting for connecting flight travellers and informing already that we will not catch the flight and directing us to the office dealing with the matter; unfortunately that didnt happen and we hence first needed to find out whether flight had indeed left already and then locate the adequate office to help us with booking us on the next connecting flight. Also my suitcase broke and it is not clear whether it is happened on the leg with Iceland Air from DC to Reykyavik or on the leg with Lufthansa from Reykyavik to Frankfurt. Finally, understood that it is a low cost company but at least provision of earplugs for free would have been nice, instead of making them buy.

Great experience on Icelandair flight from Newark to Amsterdam by way of Reykjavík. Courteous and professional staff. Food was solid. Service - outstanding. Cabin was a little warm.

Good service. No complementary food for international flight. WiFi kinda pricey. Got the job done for the right price.

The plane was very small and the aisle was so narrow that every time someone walked by they rubbed against me, so it was very uncomfortable.

Everything was good. Only issue comes from being vegan and flying. The food options are super limited.

Overall good for an economy fare. IMO the movie selection could be improved. Great that you can now connect bluetooth headphones to the entertainment system.

Comfort of seats is not good. Like sitting on a rock for 6 hours. Also no in flight food and limited beverages unless you pay is not nice. Need flight to be dark during the “night” but attendants don’t ask for shades to be lowered..

Seats in premier saga class were narrow and hard. Very uncomfortable for a 5-hour flight.

Flight was delayed for 2h. Announcements were poor and I was given 1 biscuit and a bottle of water as consolation. Not happy.

Yet again BA flight was delayed. Only one delayed. No updates from ground staff. Plane was dirty and staff were disinterested.

Dreadfully long wait for bags at Dublin coming off an already late flight.

Very bad experience they cancelled my ticket and no body bothered to even inform me, i was on the airport and it’s come to my knowledge that it was cancelled a week back,

The flight attendants were EXTREMELY personable and appreciated the service, lights going off after dinner (probably the norm, but I haven’t flown evening overnight flights in a while). Thank you!

Very quick boarding. I was surprised we only got a small water and small thing of cookies, everything else was for purchase. No entertainment. Crew was excellent though.

Flight was delayed and there was boarding pass and flight information errors resulting in confusion and stress

Boarding was efficient. Flight left on time. Wasn’t full so we could spread out a bit. Food was ok.

We had to pay extra for seats and bags (even for an international flight). I paid for extra comfort seats, but it was under an overhead bin that the crew used for supplies. I paid extra hoping to get sleep. We were constantly woken up by the crew opening and closing the bins. Our seat shouldn't be considered extra comfort. We paid significantly more than the rest of the cabin for these seats

I like Cityflyer as a semi-stand alone part of BA but I dislike mainstream BA thoroughly. A budget airline with budget service but with normal flag carrier prices.
