Staff helped me with changing seat and took into account my claustrophobia. Made all the difference

Pros: "nice crew"
Cons: "Boarding a plane this size at gate c21 ridiculous due to lack of space. Business class cabin is dated and seats not so comfortable. Food was mediocre at best."
Cons: "The check in in the web site was not working the previous day. The check in at the airport in rome was hoorible... 1 hour and 20 minutes on line to be able to check in. Only two clercks workig in a very croded space ."
Pros: "nice airline clean"
Cons: "is really nice I will flay with them they are ok"
Cons: "The flight is advertise as a British airways flight which flies out of teminal E in Boston. In reality the flight is through aer lingus which flies through terminal C. This should be clarified upon booking...."
Pros: "When I finally settled into my seat on the British Airline and that Hostess came around and offered me a couple of free drinks that was the best thing that happened to me all day."
Cons: "For an older couple like us did not like having to climb the steps up into the Plane and being out in the rain did not help. However that was not the worst part of the arrangement between getting off the Aer Lingus plane and with so little time to reach the gate for our BA flight to Denver it was a total disaster. Due to a minor problem my wife had with her foot I had asked for a wheel-chair to be available when we got off the plane at Heatrow. Good job that I did because with out their help we would never have made it in time for your flight to Denver. Between up and down in elevators, running along the corridors, in and out of a bus and I myself trying to catch up with those poor attendants. I was sorry that I did not get a second wheel chair for my self. Only for the flight was delayed by about 20 minutes we would have missed the flight. Who ever was responsible for making the arrangements of just allowing a time of 1 hour and 10 minutes between flights needs to figure out a better time schedule before people of our age ends up getting stressed out and end up with a heart attack. Very stressful indeed, believe I will never let this happen to me again. Fly/Us you need to fix this."
Cons: "Supposed to leave Boston at 9:30 pm, instead 1:30 am. It was said they knew this the day before and sent emails to passengers. No one who I spoke to, including myself, got one. Aer Lingus hired another carrier to do this flight—plane, crew —no Aer Lingus personnel. Everyone was nice, but. Had made arrangement for early morning checkin. Got to the hotel SO late that they waved a fee and had our room ready. Was going to sightsee the first afternoon—basically lost a day of seeing Dublin."
Pros: "NO SECURITY CHECK FOR INBOUND FLIGHTS. What a relief!"
Cons: "Cramped rickety stairs, up & down to Passport control. In flight service non-existent. Tepid coffee at absurd $4.50!"
Pros: "very friendly staff"
Pros: "The plane was clean and comfortable, the crew was friendly"
Cons: "Having to pay for coffee and soda is something I would expect from a budget airline and not a major carrier"
Pros: "The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very punctual."
Pros: "Non stop service to Seattle; going through US Customs in Dublin."
Cons: "Mechanical issues"
Pros: "Cabin crew"
Cons: "Pilot failed to inform us why we were sitting on the tarmac for 40 mins before taking off."
Pros: "Flight attendants were nice"
Cons: "Not very happy with Aer Lingus’s ground crew or customer service or the way they run things. And Dublin airport is an unorganized mess. Probably will never fly with them again. Gave no concessions for canceling my flight out to Amsterdam."
Pros: "Aer lingus took good care of us, and put us up at a hotel."
Cons: "Could not get a replacement flight and had to book with another airline and different route. Hoping the refund process will go smoothly."
Pros: "Wheelchair assistance was very good"
Cons: "Long distance to boarding gate vis bus and walk. Late taking off so late arriving"
Pros: "Boarding was good....overhead room for carry-ons probably due to a less than full flight. The entertainment was varied, current movies, and wide selection of music. The crew was as efficient as possible and accommodating. However, we all have learned not to expect much."
Cons: "Comfort is lacking as is the case with jammed seating on all planes these days. It would be nice to be able to recline the seat, but since I resent it being done to me, I do not do it either out of respect for the passenger behind me."
Pros: "Boarding went quickly but there was no discomfort on the plane. Staff was friendly and efficient and they made an effort to take off and arrive early to our destination."
Cons: "Nothing, excellent trip"
Pros: "Fast. Not too much time wasted between connection. Dublin = small airport, it's really comfortable..."
Cons: "Not enough room for my legs Too close to the "babies rows" = difficult to sleep. It's a pity to pay now to change a seat in the same category"
Pros: "The service was wonderful ! I’m handicapped and I was treated very well!"
Pros: "Seating location was as expected and service was great. We enjoyed the overall flight experience."
Cons: "Check-in at Milan was quite slow and confusing. Would recommend opening earlier or having additional staff. Once you make it through the check-in process, you are stuck in an area of the airport with very little amenities."
Pros: "Not much paid for prority boarding but we were bussed to the flight in Faro and this made prority boarding nul and voidboarding"
Pros: "Departure on time, good crew service"
Cons: "On arrival - long wait at the gate"
Pros: "Plane was clean."
Cons: "Crowded and assigned to the back. Charge for a coffee and long bus wait."
Cons: "Seats cramped. Cabin crew in my section unhelpful and not particularly friendly. Was cold and asked for blankets and was told to go looking for one. Food service selection poorly planned: both main entries had dairy and no alternative was offered when I explained that I was lactose intolerant. Desert was dairy also. Snack had a lot of cheese. I later noticed one of the cabin crew eating a n apparently non-daily pasta dish. One toilet was also out of service."
Pros: "Overall very. I was there when the check station was down caused delays. But staff were very helpful."
Cons: "Getting through security check very slow. Not sure what the answer is but need to be looked urgently. Otherwise I enjoyed everything.. P.kehoe..sunnybank Farm.. Portersize.. Grange con.. Co. Kildare"
Pros: "They boarded us in a very timely, organized and quick manner. The food was delicious and the flight attendants were awesome."
Cons: "Sitting in the middle seats, the flight attendants missed us for water offers and our tv's seemed stopped having any sound. I believed they overheated. After a couple hours, they cooled down and went on again. It was a very cold flight. I was so thankful for the blanket and that I brought my own also."
Pros: "Friendly efficient Staff. On time baggage both in Zurich and in Dublin almost literally as I got through passport controls. So I could not have asked for better."
Cons: "No snacks nor drinks offered at night. Breakfast was meager."
Pros: "The crew tried to accommodate and offered food to everyone."
Cons: "I have not flown on a plane that old for 20 years. Absolutely no video or electronic facilities and seats that had long lost any cushioning, The decibel level in the plane was deafening.. Will I fly Aer Lingus again.....definitely not!!!!"
Pros: "see above"
Pros: "No one was assigned the seat next to me so I got to slide over from my leg limited seat."
Cons: "Sound quality on movies was terrible. My suitcase made it with me but my golf clubs did not. Still waiting on word about clibs"
Pros: "Seating"
Cons: "Booked for British airways flight that was changed to aer lingus Food was terrible, had to pay for drinks and snacks, 1 meal within the first 2 hours on a 12 hour flight, then nothing after, no water unless you went to galley and asked for some. If I wanted aer lingus I would have booked with them, not nearly the same quality as British airways. I won't use them for long haul flights again"
Pros: "Crews attention to sick passenger"
Cons: "Coffee 3 euros? Pay for everything?"
Pros: "Not much"
Pros: "Good ticket price."
Cons: "High priced sandwiches and beverages. Even coffee/tea is for additional charge."
Pros: "Lunch was actually ok!! Decent recognizeable tasty chicken is what I chose. Crew was ok, not so friendly, looked stressed actually."
Cons: "Flight was delayed- we left about 45 minutes late but landing in Toronto, it took about 2 hours. Luggage took forever. It took forever to disembark. Customs immigration was a walk through no lineup. Changing flights in Dublin was stressful too - having to line up for passport control when I only had 50 minutes for changing flights. Original flight was delayed, then it was a long walk from one end literally to the other end, then passport control!!!! Although flight was really cheap, I'm n sure I'll use them again. All the flights took forever to disembark, to take off. And the washrooms smelled!!!!"
Cons: "Very poor service at check-in not enough counter staff. One couple had some type of issue and the counter agent allowed the process to take 30 minutes to resolve leaving only one agent to process everyone else. Left the gate 50 minutes late."
Pros: "Due to the long flight we flew Business Class to Dublin. I think the service and amenities are the finest of any flight that I've had foreign or domestic. I wasn't that familiar with Aer LIngus before this flight but will definitely use them again."
Cons: "Crying baby"
Pros: "Temperature was good. Fortunately the seat next to me was empty which always makes it more comfortable if only the person in front of me did not move her seat back - that makes it difficult to get up. Movie choices were good and the individual screen was good for watching and could be paused."
Cons: "International flights usually include wine with their meal but this would have been an overpriced purchase. The selection of food was marginal and too spicy, only the dessert was edible. Not the quality of the last trip on aer Lingus. There was a second snack sandwich although soggy and unappealing with a minimal slice of chicken."
Pros: "staff on board aircraft were all very friendly"
Cons: "More check in staff. electronic check in quiosk. more organized way for check in bags. DON'T LOOSE LUGGAGE! Shorter wait times."
Cons: "They doesn't let me land and they doesn't give money back"
Pros: "I was nervous about an unknown, no-frills airline. The food was nothing special, but everything else was great. I would use them again."
Pros: "Air crew are very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of space available"
Cons: "No water is brought around after the first hour until the plane lands so you could go 8 hours without a drink. Drinks are available in the galley but it's difficult to reach through all the people"
Cons: "No online check in option and only one person working the counter to collect baggage and to check people in. The line was long and we almost missed or connecting flight."
Pros: "The crew is helpful and efficient. Not a whole lot of smiling. The food is good. Even though we ran out of the chicken choice for dinner ( which was my first choice), since I was sitting in the last row I was left with beef-chili. It was very good. For snack I had the chicken sandwich and that was excellent as well. The leg room is ok. My only problem is the entertainment. The selection is limited. Some of the movies are old ( Goodfellas, Godfather). Maybe 30 movies overall and that includes the animated ones and documentaries. The TV selection is ok. I usually use closed caption that was not available for most of the movies."
Pros: "The person next to me was pleasant to talk to."
Cons: "I tried to check in online three or four time and the web site would not work! I tried to purchase a seat that would allow me some leg room, but it did not happen! I'm 6'4" tall and placing me in a middle seat is almost a crime for me and the people around me. It was almost impossible to get out of the seat to use the restroom or to stretch and it was miserable. I fly all the time on long flights and this is in second place for my worst flight ever!!!Please call Tina at (208) 659-4799 To see the apartment."
Pros: "Lovely crew, comfortable seats and bang on time."
Cons: "Barely any covid measures. Brussels airlines uses staggered disembarking. Row per row. Ryanair still does the usual “every man for himself”."
Pros: "It was ahead of schedule"
Pros: "Crew were good. Boarding seemed to be good. When we eventually got going the flight was good and very quick (35mins)"
Cons: "We sat on the plane for 1 hour without moving anywhere as there was a discrepancy with the numbers they thought they had and the list (or something). When we were cleared for take off we then had to get in a massive queue before we could leave."
Pros: "Flight was on time."
Cons: "Pretty much everything. Another uncomfortable flying bus charging you for everything they can charge. Flying is absolutely awful these days."
Pros: "Very organized and very easy boarding experience."
Pros: "Pleasant cabin crew"
Cons: "Everything! A lot to improve"
Pros: "Treated us with respect and very helpful when we missed our flight and had to be bumped on to the next flight."
Cons: "Wish we didn’t have to pay so much to change the tickets. Significantly ate out of our holiday money"
Pros: "I liked when w landed in my destination."
Cons: "The flight attendants were very short and not helpful. I pumped breast milk and asked for a bit of ice and they gave me four cubes. When I asked for a bit more after first service they again gave me four cubes. Not very kind and treated me like I was bothering them."
Pros: "Priced right."
Cons: "All snacks, drinks are for sale. Could at least offer a complimentary bottle of water."
Pros: "It was a great flight staff A1 and beautiful flying from knock, hadn't done for years , hot paninis great food better than Emmirates I flew with over the Christmas"
Pros: "crew were cheerfull"
Cons: "Ryanair are fleecing customer regarding the wheelie carry on bag. Customers should be told about their new 'rules' and all the extra costs at the point of purchasing the the ticket as when you add the extra costs on the flight is no longer a bargain and flying with BA is a much better option."
Pros: "Friendly staff"
Cons: "Very noisy people, very drunk people and like in all Ryanair flights, the staff has to keep giving people alcohol, so they were getting even more drunk. Not a good experience when all of them starts standing like in a bar on top of your head and raise the volume of the voice for no reason. Also from the time we landed until the time we were allowed to leave the aircraft, 15 minutes passed. Without anyone telling us for what reason. Very annoying..."
Cons: "No vegan food."
Pros: "App is helpful. Email messages are helpful"
Cons: "Unclear that >100 ml not allowed in cabin size luggage that gets put in the hold. This caused unnecessary delay and extra work for staff at security"
Pros: "Staff where nice and flight was on time"
Cons: "I flu with my baby 18months and my partner, we were sat separately which didn’t help me at all as my child just kept asking and crying for her dad. No space to put her on my lap as she is a lap child."
Pros: "Keeps to schedule. A high performing low cost airline."
Cons: "Cost of the food and drinks but I’ll still fly with Ryanair again."
Pros: "Nothing -apart from the fact I eventually got to the destination I needed the same day!!"
Cons: "The delays. The lack of information. It became obvious we were not going to leave on time. But No announcement. nobody told us of the delay - or why. Then the conflicting information. Technical problems. Flight cancelled. Go to Ryan air deal to organise your own forward travel. Then - once back through Police & customs. No - flight going to happen!!! I have more to say about service & crew - but no space"
Pros: "V efficient airport. Got through quickly and no rushing due to size. V pleasant staff despite full plane. Nice flight path over by Ireland’s highest mountain range on the departure. Also nice sunset on right of plane. All on time"
Cons: "Maybe enough seats for everyone after security but obv right for space"
Pros: "It is a cheap flight. I don’t espect first class. The ride was smooth, the flight was cheap, the cabin crew were friendly and it wasn’t horrendously dirty."
Cons: "I had to print the boarding pass on my own, cannot get it at the airport. Also the fact that they delay in telling you where the gate is and then it is a 10 minutes stride to get there."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Boarding commenced after the given departure time with no sign of a delay on the departure boards. There was no clear guidance for queuing, so the speedy boarding we paid extra for was close to useless, staff then scanned boarding passes without a care for passports. Once on the plane the flight was delayed for 2 hours and only after 45 mins of sitting around waiting for an explanation were we given one by the captain."
Pros: "The efficiency of the staff, the cost of the flight, the food."
Cons: "The queue at the airport."
Pros: "Arrived on time"
Cons: "Screaming children and little food on offer. No tea...again"
Pros: "Efficient, good value and on time"
Cons: "Non priority Queue and the fact that my bags were put in the hold."
Pros: "Airport OK. Efficient service. On time arrival."
Cons: "Gate area bit narrow and clumsy. Walk to plane. Deposit your own bag on large trolley outside plane due to opportunistic charging policy of RyanAir. Seat basic no recline. No seat pockets. No wifi. Still paying £200 return.."
Pros: "On time departure and arrival"
Cons: "Access to airplane and egress via the aircraft own steps is an accident waiting to happen for those people with impaired mobility."
Pros: "Prompt departure and arrival in Belfast. Brand new aircraft was a bonus."
Cons: "The white wine I got was undrinkable. I told the strewart working at the back of the aircraft that ' the white wine is terrible, it's like drinking water and indrinkable'. His reply was ' well that's what you ordered'. I expected him to say; Sorry you found it like that and I will pass your comments to the catering company. this may sound like a trivial thing to comment on but I found his attitude very unprofessional. My wife and I also found the staircase from ground level to the corridor leading to passport control very demanding when carrying a 10 kilo roller case each. There is a lift somewhere but there are no directions to indicate where it is situated."
Pros: "Price"
Cons: "Check in, crowds, cramped seats"
Pros: "Ease of check in"
Cons: "Late notification of cancelled flights. Ryan airs disregard to the impact to people's lives"
Pros: "Comfortable seat"
Cons: "Flight delay and .no air bridge"
Pros: "The price of the ryanair flights are great, and will probably be the reason I continue to use them"
Cons: "I am not bothered that there was no in flight entertainment, or that everything cost extra, a lot extra, like drinks (2.5Euros for a can of cola). It’s what you’d expect from a trip that only cost £14.99 each way... But, the things that don’t cost anything, the things you’d expect from any big brand weren’t there at all. Zero communication from staff about why the fliight was delayed (until we landed at Frankfurt) Zero personality from the staff. They looked unhappy, or overworked, or bored... Lufthansa, British Airways, AA, etc... all happy staff. Staff weren’t even communicating verbally... they mimed a lot of stuff... The safety breif was disorganised and they had to repeat it as the pilot interrupted... and the pilots announcements were very unclear, due to a lack of pronunciation of the words he was saying. If I was to offer a suggestion as to how this could be fixed, Inwould suggest that it has something to do with poor recruiting, low staff morale, or something similar"
Pros: "Once boarded it was very smooth"
Cons: "Over 3&a half hours delay was sooooo painful"
Pros: "The flight was excellent all throughout, very kind Staff,Captain was brilliant"
Cons: "Wait to long from check in to board the Plaine"
Pros: "Cheap as chips and only took an hour instead of 90 mins; happy out!"
Pros: "Ryanair prices are good. You do have to keep in mind to pack light as they do charge for any bag that cannot be brought onto the plane."
Cons: "Would like to have one bag checked for free."
Cons: "Flight delayed, no baggage tags to put cabin cases in hold and ‘random allocation’ seats actively place people as far away from each other as possible"
Pros: "Crew was very friendly and helpful."
Cons: "Long wait before getting on the aircraft"
Pros: "Absolutely nothing! Horrible airline to say the least :("
Cons: "Very rude staff and overall poor service!"
Pros: "Everything was quick and efficient from check in to baggage pickup."
Cons: "Nothing"
Cons: "An obnoxious hen party disrupted our enjoyment of the flight. Cabin crew didn't try to control them"
Pros: "The plane itself was good. It left on time."
Cons: "Stood in a long line only to be told that we had to go to a different line. Not marked. Told to print boarding passes which is something a traveler cannot easily do. Not able to do that before leaving the United States."
Cons: "Uncomfortable seats"
Pros: "Crew was friendly and professional"
Cons: "Seats don't recline, no seat back pocket"
Pros: "Boarded on time"
Pros: "We got to our destination. Our bags arrived at our destination."
Cons: "1. Despite a delay of over 3 hours, RyanAir provided neither reimbursement nor meal vouchers, despite both being required by EU law. 2. Our boarding passes said, "if your flight is cancelled or delayed for at least two hours, ask at the ticket counter or boarding gate for the text stating your rights, particularly with regard to compensation and assistance." When we learned the flight would be delayed 2+ hours, we followed these directions; the gate agents told us, quite dismissively, that it applied only in case of a 3-hour delay. After wrestling with NAP's snail-pace wifi, I found the relevant text on the RyanAir website and showed it to a gate agent. She said her supervisor had told her that it had to be a delay of 3 hours but that she would check with her. I never heard from her again. It became a moot point when the flight was delayed more than 3 hours. Even then, the gate agents did none of the things the text said they were supposed to do. 3. The gate agents were not RyanAir employees, and it seemed RyanAir did not communicate with them in a helpful way. Independent of this, though, they were also just not competent. Here are some other things that happened: - About 2 hours after the scheduled departure, despite there being no plane at the gate, one of the gate agents started the boarding process. He let about 30-40 people into the holding pen; then a passenger pointed out that the delay had increased another hour. The passengers in the holding pen had to stay in there (one asked to leave to use the restroom and the gate agent told him he would have to surrender his passport while he was gone). - Once the 3-hour delay was posted, they started handing out gate check tags like candy. It was unclear why; perhaps they thought it would soothe the passengers' anger. We did not request one then. When we boarded, my wife asked for one. The gate agent did not even acknowledge her request (despite still having a good number left). - When the plane did arrive, the passengers in the holding pen rushed the door of the jetway. About 15 made it into the jetway (and, I guess, onto the plane) before a gate agent shouted at everyone to stop, ran over, and closed the jetway doors. 4. In other news... passengers were loud and rude. When the delay was first posted, they formed an angry mob around the gate agents and yelled questions that could have been answered by reading the monitor. Half of them had their seat belts off and were standing as soon as the plane landed. The whole row behind me was so loud I couldn't hear the music coming form my earbuds. The guy behind me pushed me as we were getting off the plane because he thought I wasn't going fast enough. Needless to say, no one should ever fly RyanAir."
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Tight seating"
Cons: "Still could do with just another couple of inches more space."
Pros: "Was what I expected."
Cons: "The number of people who choose to keep going up and down the aisles and not sit in their seat. Pay to sit next to your friend if you are that bothered. Made the hostesses job much harder to serve drinks quickly as had to keep moving back and forth to accommodate people walking by"
Pros: "Fast"
Cons: "Nothing"
Cons: "We waited for an hour on the tarmac. It's critical that if other passengers aren't on time we close the doors and go so we leave on states time. Otherwise we miss it as we did and had to wait an hour. I realise my flight was cheap however timings are global whether no frills or not!"
