What made the trip terrible, is the fact that we were delayed in Chicago that caused us to miss our flight from Frankfurt to Nuremberg. we ended at the airport for an extra 8-9 hours. The only thing Lufthansa did, was gave us a 15 euro voucher for food. That is an insult, plus two people for almost 9 hour? 15 euro does not cover anything for two people for two meals.

Stuck in Chicago O'hare overnight, had to sleep in terminal until flight in the morning. Gate changed three times.

I was sent to the Lufthansa counter, which didn’t open until 11:30, when I should have gone to the United counter. An hour of my time was wasted, which almost resulted in my missing the one-hour before take-off check-in deadline. The only reason I didn’t miss the deadline was because the flight was late taking off."

Pros: "The fact that the Crew was kind n helpful and we landed safely and on time. Like the security was great. Overall it was good!"
Cons: "The boarding Crew treated the passengers unfairly...your staff should learn how to board a plain...by starting: women with children n handicapped people first, the business/first class, the economy passengers...that's how you do it...there was no organization to board the plane and the ticket agent was wrong on the advertisements instructions. Get rid of cheap wine, our tickets are very expensive..you can afford good wine. I got a headache with your cheap wine... Your also not allowed to do early check in...with your system."

Pros: "Flight was on time. We boarded and left on time. Flight attendants were friendly and courteous. I was happy to get a complementary sandwich and drink on such a short flight. We arrived at our destination earlier than expected. Seats were no frills, but decent. Overall good experience."

Cons: "I was denied boarding on the Dublin to Munich leg of my connecting flight from Newark to Munich. My ticket was booked through Lufthansa, but the transatlantic leg of my trip was operated by United. When checking in with United in Newark, I received two boarding passes, one for each leg of the trip. I arrived on time in Dublin for my flight to Munich and tried to board the plane for Munich with the boarding pass I had printed in Newark. After scanning my ticket, the Lufthansa employees at the gate informed me that they had no record of me or my plane ticket in their system. I showed them the email confirmation for my ticket, but they still could not find any record of my ticket in their online system. The employees seemed more concerned with boarding all passengers as quickly as possible than assisting me. After being denied boarding, I had to go back through passport control to change my flight, and ended up getting to Munich nearly 6 hours behind schedule and missed an entire day of vacation. A Lufthansa employee told me that out of every partner in the STAR alliance, United is the ONLY airline they have had this problem with. I find this inexcusable, I will be AVOIDING ANY United/Lufthansa connecting flight from now on."

Cons: "I paid for a reserved window seat so I could sleep. The passenger next to me was such a large man his arms and shoulder came way over into my seat space and I had to sit in an awkward and very uncomfortable position twisting my back for the entire flight. I cannot believe I paid extra to be in this position. My back still hurts from being in that position for 9 hours. I was miserable the entire way. And I paid extra for this discomfort. The big guy was plenty comfortable as he took up my seat space and slept well. Not happy at all with the flight and how Lufthansa crams people into seats."

Cons: "I wasn't even on this airline my booking reference said that I was. I had this airlines flight number I go to the gate to check in, and then for me I'm on Air Canada. This was a mass from the start I will never use this airline or Air Canada again they ruin my login and told me it's still usable we had a delayed for three hours on the plane. Never never again!"

What's wrong with vanilla or chocolate, a more neutral, well-liked flavor? The dinner was over spiced and looked unappetizing. The breakfast look like someone threw up. I hate to sound so negative, but it was really awful. The flight, itself, was fine. Nice crew and smooth trip."
