Pros: "nothing"

Pros: "nothing"
Cons: "The website. It kept going over the same thing and I couldn’t do what I wanted to."
Cons: "This is the terrible airlines that we have ever experienced. It’s not organized at all. After booking the ticket, I didn’t say we have to check in 2 hours prior to not to get charged at the airport. When we stand at the encounter, everyone in line didn’t know this and had to turn around to get in the different line to pay for checking in. After that, we had to get back in a long line and the lady didn’t mentioned that she can check in our luggage’s. With that being said, we had to go back to other encounter to pay for checked in luggage. We paid almost $200 for checking in and luggage. How stupid is that? We and other customers in line all said we felt it’s the rip off. We come to Ireland for vacation and expected it would be welcome and nice. This turned us off. Never fly with this airlines again. Thumbs down!!!"
Cons: "Had to stand outside in rain & wind while waiting to board. Took a very long time to board. Very loud people. Excessively loud engine noise. Attendant made me open my window shade. Small seat did not recline. No seat pocket for magazine."
Pros: "We got there."
Cons: "Service was not great. The baggage allowance was lower than other airlines, forcing us to repack before we checked our bags. Checking in online was mandatory-something that wasn’t very noticeable in the email when we had a million other trip details to attend to so we didn’t and ended up having to pay a fee to check in. Ridiculous. My wife and I were not seated together even though I booked both tickets together. The inexpensive upfront price of the flight is not worth it since they will trick you into paying in other ways."
Pros: "The trip was smooth once we got a plane. Everything else was as ecpected."
Cons: "Delayed multiple times and finally departed 2 hours late. Interrupted a full day’s worth of travel plans."
Pros: "There is nothing to like about an airline that appears to have low fares and then nickel & dimes you for everything, typical bait-and-switch style of doing business."
Cons: "First of all, this airline needs to train their staff better. The gate agent I dealt with on a flight has no business in any field where she would be required to work with people. Second, this airline needs to get their s*@t together when it comes to baggage. I was humiliated (by the creature they hired for a gate agent) when I was forced off the boarding line and then demanded to pay 200 euros (cash only and in euros only) for carry-on luggage that was under the size and weight requirements, and had already flown, without incident, on numerous flights during the same trip. I filed a complaint with Ryanair and weeks later received a very passive, useless, response from some brain-dead individual in corporate I suppose. No one at Ryanair cared about the mafioso-type treatment my family and I, including my 80-year-old mother, received. Avoid this airline at all costs (literally and figuratively)! It will not save you money, or anything else. It will only cost you more!"
Cons: "We attempted to cancel our reservations more than a week before our trip because my husband was hospitalized. Not with the flu or a broken arm, but a major and serious life threatening illness we are still dealing with. We provided numerous documents as proof of the absolute dire situation and they denied the request over and over again. I get that the tickets were "non-refundable" but at least offer vouchers, credit, or be totally a stand-up company and refund the tickets. It wasn't buyers remorse, trust me, we would have preferred to be in Portugal, rather than sitting in a hospital hoping and praying for his recovery."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Treatment!"
Pros: "Price"
Cons: "Baggage policy"
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "How rude the crew members were and unhelpful."
Pros: "I got to my destination."
Cons: "We were charged almost 200 euros extra because we did not check in online (which we could not do because we had been traveling for 30 hours and did not have Wi-Fi in the air) and when we went to check in the receptionist was rude about the fact that we had not checked in, so we had to go across to a different counter to pay our fee, go back to check in at the first counter, and then was told we could not be seated together, when it turned out the flight was half empty. Besides all of this, the planes are not nice, you are only allowed one carry on (no personal item) and the seats are not comfortable. I thought we would save money but check in fees and ridiculous baggage fees made this flight cost more than a nicer airline."
Pros: "Customer service was horrifying"
Cons: "Staff"
Pros: "Great service, friendly crew. Smooth flight"
Pros: "On time and friendly service"
Cons: "Hard landing was a bit worrisome"
Cons: "Flight cancelled just a day before departure."
Pros: "I like how inexpensive the flight was. This would make up for the other things had we not been seriously taken advantage when it came to our luggage!"
Cons: "We checked in online the night before our flight but didn't get a confirmation. We didn't think anything of it until we got to airport to find that we didn't show checked in, had to pay EXTRA to have our boarding passes printed off, and had to pay for EACH of our bags as well!! OH! And it's almost DOUBLE if you pay for it at the airport where you can weigh it then if you do it online! And take caution! Our bags that are considered carry on size are still too big for this airline do you will forced to check Them! This is obviously how they offset their inexpensive tickets! The cost of the ticket, once you add in all the other unexpected expenses in order to actually get on the flight, was NOT worth the "cheap" tickets we got! That's the only reason we decided to fly to Ireland while on our trip to the U.K. Had we known it would cost this much we never would have come to Ireland for two days!!"
Cons: "Delayed a bit."
Pros: "It was a quick flight"
Cons: "The employees were just as unhelpful flying to dublin as they were flying out of dublin. Simple questions were met with disdain and annoyance rather than polite answers. We went through 3 different people before finding out that we didn't need to go through any of them which the first person could have told us. By the way the first person was a customer service attendant and he swiftly moved us on to the next line to stand in which was completely unnecessary and a waste of everyone's time. I will never fly with ryanair again."
Pros: "Nothing."
Cons: "This is the worst airline I have ever flown and I have been flying a long time. It was hot, cramped, both flights were late and they had us sitting on the plane. And, it really is not as cheap as it first appears with all the extra feeds."
Pros: "The fact that it got me to Dublin."
Cons: "After having all my liquids taken at security from my carry-on (which had been just fine on all other legs of my trip over) Ryanair decides that they are too full for me to take my bag on board, so they made me check it. When I requested that I get the bag back at the gate, they said no. It had to be checked through to baggage claim. This meant that in Dublin I had to go back to get my bag downstairs and go through security twice more. Exactly what I wanted to avoid. I had a very tight connection to the US. It was horrible! I purposely packed light for a 16 day trip!! It would've been helpful if they had let me gate check it. I won't fly them again."
Cons: "self service kiosks were not working in airport and we were told it would cost 50 pounds each to print boarding pass. We followed directions to try to print on our own by paying for expensive internet service at the airport but still were unable to view & print boarding passes. After talking to several rather unhelpful reps, someone at the Sky Desk made an exception to allow us "free" boarding passes. This was just after 2 people were charge full price (50L each for passes & full price to check luggage, after they didn't get promised email to check bags online) Cheap fares doesn't make up for frustration"
Cons: "Chaotic boarding"
Cons: "Seats are too small and don't recline. There's no entertainment. We sat on the aircraft for a hour without any explanation on why we were waiting."
Pros: "I liked getting off the plane."
Cons: "Hidden fees after hidden fees... The lady at the check in counter said my bag was fine... At the gate they said it was to big and weighed too much. £50 Extra. I bought an exit row seat because I'm big guy. The seat belt didn't fit so I asked for an extension and the flight attendant got very snippy with me and said she would not give me an extension because of "safety reasons". (This has never been the case on any other airline I have flown.) She then very rudely said because of your rather large size we are going to have to move you to another seat where we can give you an extension. Like I said I know I'm a big guy but you don't have to so loud and rude about it. At least say it with a smile and some kindness... Wow. It was just uncomfortable and not a good feeling. Later when I got to sitting in my new seat, they came through with the convince cart (no free snacks or drinks, you pay for everything.) She nor the other attendent with her asked if we wanted and thing, if we were doing alright, nothing. Thank God it was only a 1.5 hour flight. So glad that experience is over."
Pros: "the flight crew was nice and friendly when they werent trying to sell you something."
Cons: "Ryanair is a bunch of criminals that prey on the Americans traveling abroad. Yes its a discount airline but my $18 flight turned into $150 after all the hidden fees were paid for. To charge a passenger 15 pounds each to print a boarding pass is absolutely ridiculous. Everyone else around us could use their phones as a boarding pass except for the traveling Americans who did not have access to a printer while on vacation is criminal. Lesson learned, I will never fly Ryanair again and will tell every American I know not to be blinded by their discount fare."
Cons: "We departed an hour late. The crew was very unprofessional. The landing wasn't good. Kept the light on."
Pros: "The efficiency of the crew"
Cons: "The flight was almost an hour late"
Pros: "The price is great. Friendly crew."
Cons: "Delayed with no explanation. Chaotic boarding. Super cramped seats."
Cons: "four hour delay--missed my appointment"
Pros: "Cheap flight Pleasant flight attendants"
Cons: "Ended up missing flight because they said I didn't check in online. I did everything I was prompted to do (passport number, add a bag, etc), but apparently there was another button on the bottom of the webpage I had to scroll down and click. They wanted to charge us 45 euros each to check in onsite. The first person also said we didn't pay our baggage fee, which we did. Once we got things situated the doors were closed (even though the plane wasn't leaving for another 45 minutes) and they wouldn't let us through. They wanted to charge us 100 euros each to change to another flight, when the flight itself cost 39 euros. They wouldn't refund the baggage fee either! Apparently they can charge such a low ticket price because they get their money by scamming people out of it. When we finally DID get on a flight the next day, it was like an infomercial the whole way there...trying to sell people everything from water to watches. I would never suggest Ryanair to anyone."
Pros: "Really enjoyed my flight to London & back to Dublin with my Nieces"
Cons: "Would have loved it if there were some Irish stewards or stewardesses on board as it would have been easier to understand their accents and they tend to warmer & friendlier in their dealings with passengers"
Pros: "Quick trip from London to Dublin. Clean, new aircraft. Safe flight from start to finish."
Cons: "No complimentary water!"
Pros: "Friendly crew"
Cons: "The seats are to close to one another and gets unconfortable fast"
Pros: "No frills cheep short flight. Good enough"
Cons: "The comfort"
Cons: "No one knew where the boarding gate was."
Cons: "slow, disorganized check in. Boarding is hideous, I'd rather wait in a DMV line. Airline run as if consumer, and luggage, are to be avoided. I cannot understand why Anyone would fly them routinely."
Pros: "Cheap"
Cons: "Flight was delayed and no on was told"
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Did not know there was a 45 euro check in fee per person...never was advertised!"
Cons: "Delay is annoying!"
Pros: "Cheap flight!"
Cons: "Tried to charge us for everything, including 15 pounds for printing a boarding pass. WiFi was only free for an hour at the airport, flight was delayed by two hours, plane lacked AC and was super cramped and hot. Boarding was also a mess."
Pros: "Cost Convenience"
Cons: "Walking across tarmac to board No music or anything"
Cons: "Problems with securing printed boarding passes (non EU) as could not print them ourselves at motel. Finally able to get them without charge after protest. Problem paying for checked bag online (did not go thru) so had to pay higher fee at airport. All this caused delay and rush to not miss flight. Not familiar with Ryan Air M.O. Not informed till 2 days before flight of online check in requirements. Not told could check in 30 days ahead-so could not print passes at home in US before travel. Did not know would have to enter and exit plane via stairs with large carry-on. Ryan Air should be more up front about extra charges incurred if you don't follow their protocol-esp. for first time users. Now know and will not fly with them again. Ended up costing as much or more than flying Aer Lingus Bristol to Dublin would have."
Cons: "The crew said there would not be drinks because of anticipated turbulence for the entire flight. There was NO turbulence."
Cons: "Boarding was delayed and took forever"
Pros: "We had been scared by other reviews, but this was not as bad as we'd read. There is no entertainment onboard, no food except for sale, and some luggage restrictions you need to take note of before you check in. Otherwise, quick smooth flight, friendly staff, luggage arrived, so overall fine experience."
Pros: "Friendly crew"
Cons: "Boarding was chaotic"
Pros: "If you are flying without luggage or carry-on, Ryan Air might be fore you."
Cons: "The airline charges a ridiculous amount for EVERYTHING! We bought our tickets and realized almost immediately that bags were not included. We tried to upgrade our ticket type to be inclusive of a bag, but took two hours to navigate their automated "customer service". Finally got through to a live person (which they charge for), they will allow you to upgrade the ticket if you bought through KAYAK. You have to purchase your bags separately, and 1 bag was significantly more than what our ticket costs. I contacted KAYAK roughly 5 hours after the original purchase, and they could do nothing because Ryan Air is a low cost carrier. It was cheaper buy Aer Lingus seats inclusive of luggage than to add luggage on Ryan Air. I will never fly Ryan Air again, and caution anyone trying to buy Ryan Air through KAYAK"
Pros: "We were unable to check bags in advance. Staff handled at bag drop."
Pros: "Love the crews of Ryan Air!"
Cons: "I wish that there was at least water for free."
