  • Can I access Wi-Fi in Havana Airport?

In Cuba, to access the internet you need a prepaid internet card from a state-owned internet provider, which lets you log in and connect to a hotspot to use the internet on your device. There's a place to buy these cards in the airport; we recommend that you buy them in bulk at the start of your trip so you're never left without internet if you need it. You can buy cards for 1h or 5h durations for under €2 per hour, and you'll need your passport to make the purchase.

  • How can I get from Havana Airport into Havana?

Most European airlines land at Terminal 3, which is a 1.5 km walk away from the airport's bus stops. If the weather is ok and you feel up to the walk, you can take the P12 bus from near Terminal 2 for under €0.05. You could also take a shared taxi for around €0.85; they're taxis that look like U.S. cars from the '50s and '60s, and take 4-5 passengers at a time, although they rarely have more than 1-2 spare seats at a time. This option can take anywhere from 45min-1h 30min. Alternatively, you could get a state-owned cab; the official price is around €20 and it only takes 30min.

  • Can I get currency in Havana Airport?

Yes! Havana Airport has a government-run Currency Exchange Office, which is the most reasonably priced and reliable place to exchange your currency in Cuba. Despite being located in the airport, prices will be the same as around the rest of Cuba. There's also an ATM where you can withdraw some local currency, the Cuban peso. The Currency Exchange Office and ATM are both located in Terminal 3.
