Coming back Dublin to SF-boarding was not announced by rows so everyone jumped into a line that extended halfway around the airport-took a lot longer than necessary.Flight was very comfortable-staff we’re great-thanks! SF to Dublin was very disappointing as we missed the flight even though we were there after a Bart delay an hour before departure-we were already checked in on line-no one at counters to direct us to just go and board the flight/instead a woman said the gate was already closed which was not true-we could have made that flight on the 23rd-instead we got only a robot on the line when we tried to contact aer lingus and then finally just gave us tickets for 2days later with an additional fee of $200.I know the flight finally only departed after 5:50 On the 23rd and we were there at 4:30-understandably late.Lines at security were not long we could have definitely made it on the 23rd flight instead of being put through the trouble of going back and taking a flight 2days later on the 25th.Our money for 2 nights of airb&b in Dublin went to waste too.So all in all a lot of money wasted because of wrong information.I would like that $200 retuned to me as my original flight was expensive enough at $1200 without being tacked on an additional $200.

From using an app that denied my negative covid test THREE times because they misread it and tried to mislead me about it ("Maybe the date isn't specified?" when it very much was and I'd drawn attention to its correct location); to the fact that my connecting flight wasn't even available in this app was supposed to determined whether I could fly to my final destination; ti the fact that a supposedly vital piece of documentation wasn't even mentioned in that app; to the unnecessary delaying of a connecting flight by several hours that was suddenly on time again upon landing minutes only late, which somehow required all passengers with ANY connecting flight to run to their gate regardless of destination; to the fact that the boarding passes didn't include my initial return flight and only the connecting, which was cause to be denied entry to the airport, to the apparenly unknown and much disputed location of the check-in where I would have to report to get said boarding pass; to the ONE HOUR WAIT behind maybe 20 people total in spite of having no bags to check because again, I had no boarding pass; to the app incorrectly stating that no additional covid test was needed only to find out after having been at the airport THREE HOURS; to the fact that my itinerary"couldn't" be changed because it was "in flight" while the "fare difference" I would be charged went up $100 every hour I was forced to wait because there were magically no notes regardingmy flight every time I called back as directed; this was a miserable experience all around. Never recommending aer lingus to anyone ever and certainly won't fly it again. Guess I won't ever find my long lost relatives...

Never understood going to the trouble of making announcements both pre-boarding & on-board pre-flight, that no one can even make out. That was not an issue here."

No seat on any flight should ever be even the slightest ill repaired. Again, this equipmemt all seemed great. Lastly, since I prefer to always have a water, coke or coffe and or snack in front of me during entire flight, a bit of self serve (grab a water, coffee or snack yourself without having to make staff work a simple task would be nice on every flight. The flight from SEA-DUB was basically great and equipment is always of the utmost importantance."

The lack of communication I received from Aer Lingus, and the length of time it took for me to get the luggage was a bit ridiculous. I was never told what happened to the luggage and I was given the timeline to receive my luggage within 24 hours. Well it took over 48 hours to get the luggage. I was given specific timeframes to call the Shannon Airport Aer Lingus luggage desk, which I followed. Had to leave a message every time, and not once was it returned. The only communication I did get was calling the Shannon Airport directly and working with their employees. I could tell they were frustrated with me, which is completely understandable, because they weren't the appropriate people to communicate with. I was just very disappointed in the customer service."

Don’t pay Justfly for seating choice as the operating airline can switch your seats. Online checkin was difficult as I tried Finnair first with no luck, then got somewhere with American. We chose to take our chances and were assigned seats at the gate 16 rows apart and both in the middle seat."

Cons: "I was lucky and got an emergency isle row. Even so, I am not a big person. I'm a 25 year old athlete. And I find the seats are getting tight. My shoulders are right at the edge. This isn't a condemnation of British Airways specifically, more a criticism of all airlines. This sardine style seating is a trend I'd like to roll back or at least halt."

The crew were nice enough but disinterested in serving us and were annoyed when I asked for a few crackers or bread to help with a stomach ache. Never got any. I had to get up several times to ask for water. Comfort was ok and plane was warm enough. There was several people who came and sat down next to me in the open seat, 6 or 7 different people who left their own seats elsewhere on the plane and came to sit next to me in the open seat. One woman brought her child over, asked me to love another seat over, so her child could lay down and put his feet in my lap. Then, when Inledt for the ladies room, she left him there to kick the seat in front of him and throw his tuna fish sandwich pieces on me and on the floor. I never agreed to play nanny to her child and after I'd paid $750 for a one way ticket from TPA to AMS, I didn't think I should have to. The mother gave me an earful of her bad language when I asked her to take care of her own child and take him and his fishy tuna sandwich back to his own designated seat. I had asked a male flight attendant to handle the situation, neither he nor the other staff, who stood by, cared that it was disturbing me, or that the other passengers were playing musical chairs with empty seats all night. I have flown British Air more than 100 times in my life. For 35 years it was my go to airline for step up in quality, service and class. This time I could have flown several other airlines that would have been $379, $400, 547, 650 for the same flight TPA to London Gatwick then AMS, instead I opted to pay a little more and thought I'd get a little more. Not any more on British Air. Other passengers on the flight were rested when they arrived. Not me, I was tired and disappointed and kicking myself for paying more to fly British Air. This is sadly understandable, as all quality is down with alot of airlines. But it's particularly disappointing that I'm saying that about British Air after all these years. I have only complained one time to an airline over 30 years. This will be my second time. I plan to send this complaint to British Air and ask for a refund."

Staff was snobbish and full of it. No on-board entertainment, no wifi, no reading material except the magazine. Oh they did try to sell me duty free. AVOID."

Late for 2:20 hours!!!!

Toronto Pearson is hands down the worst airport I have ever flown through in my life. The security and customs procedure slows everything down. If it wasn’t for our flight being delayed and running to our gate, we would have missed our flight. We are not using Air Canada for the foreseeable future and recommend others don’t as well. The flying experience of delayed flights, spending the night in Toronto, and inability for customer service to answer calls are strikes against this airline we will forever hold against them.

Easy Covid check in. Excellent onboard service.

Everything was fine when they checked the ETD. They arrived at YYZ at 1300 only to finally board 12 hours later. Totally unacceptable."

I had basic economy which means I can have only one personal bag (which I did, but it is lil bigger then regular women bags) I new it will fit cause I am flight with it all the time if I am going only for a few days and on those cheapest tickets. She gave me hard time telling me that my purse is to big to take on board and was making me to pay for that and the tone with wich she dpoke to me wasn't nice. When I told her that in Chicago they let me go with that bag, she said: "those united employees are not doing there job, if you want to go with it go, but I'll call too ur gates and they will charge you double for that bag" Which noone did, they did not even stoped me on gates, because my bag is perfectly fitting under the seat."

In light of what just happened where a parent paid $150 for the staff to watch his girl and she ended up getting molested by an older gentlemen, this is unacceptable. She was screaming and being a normal 7 year old, pushing the call button every 2 minutes, slamming her chair back and forth. I do not have kids for a reason. This should not be allowed. I was afraid if I said anything to her about her attitude that she could say I did something to her and My life would be ruined."
