I sat in row 38 seat D. The headphone jack was nearly broken. The charging port was completely broken. My under seat space was compromised by a little metal box not seen under all seats so there was less room for my bag (which ended up having to go under the empty middle seat). These things could have been better. One of the flight attendants walked by me while my eyes were closed but I was awake waiting for breakfast and didn’t try to wake me for meal- and then when I asked about it didn’t offer to give me a pack I loved the other flight attendant - he was very kind funny witty and made extra efforts my comfort Overall everyone was polite, flight was smooth Off boarding was a ridiculously long process and should have been avoided if possible

Cons: "Not making me sit on tarmac pretending you already don’t know the flight is canceled. Enough of the dog and pony shows."
Cons: "I did not understand special with covid why half the plane was empty they keep us all together. Would have been nice to be able to spread out and have more room. Seats and leg room are small."
Cons: "Not repairing the engine of the aircraft while I’m on it. Not having to deplane due to the fact I felt unsafe."

Pros: "The flight itself was about as average as any other flight. At least all our luggage made it from the incoming flight from Key West to join us in Charlotte. That was our final destination but most of the passengers were making additional connections."
Cons: "The boarding went like the plane was ready to leave on time, except it didn't. There was a delay because the flight crew came from another arriving flight, so they had to go through the full pre-flight checklist. Then there was a "minor maintenance issue" that couldn't be fixed right away because it was "shift change" for the maintenance crews. Eventually they arrived and fixed whatever, while everyone was getting texts and alerts that kept delaying the departure by 15-minute intervals. Over an hour (while sitting in a warm plane) after the original scheduled departure, we left the gate, sat on the taxiway a while, then took off. Cabin crew only had cookies and drinks, no other snacks or food. All anyone got was an apology for the extended delay."

Pros: "Flying internationally is civilized even in coach. There is more legroom, the food and drink carts come by several times, and there are blankets and pillows for everyone. I think all cross country non stop domestic US flights should have the same coach amenities as trans Atlantic flights."

Cons: "There wasn't a choice of movies and we all had to watch the same one with the screen in the middle of the aisle. I had to have my head at an angle and it got tired after a while..... We also had to pay an extra fee to choose seats that were together....that was a rip off!"

Cons: "The one calling out the group numbers was unnecessarily rude. Then when I couldn't pull up my boarding pass to see my seat number the woman at plane's door acted like they was nothing she could do to find out my seat. Luckily another flight attendant actually knew how to do something and cared about me getting to my seat. For the flight, the air quality in the plane wasn't good and they seats felt like small prisons."

Cons: "We had a snow storm I arrived at the counter 75 minutes early. The staff were rude and unhelpful. By the time I got assistance it was 9:01and my flight would leave at 10:00. They would not check my bags. I had to be rescheduled for another flight tonight at 7:00. I hope it goes better. I still have received NO confirmation for my flight tonight."

Cons: "The plane was old -6 seats across no leg room, seats narrow, packed in like sardines. Isle monitors for entertainment - everyone to watch selected old movies. Sound so garbled in our seats that we couldn't watch. Almost 8 hour international flight costing over $800 USD. Terrible."

Cons: "Could not bring a guest into the Admirals Club during the flight delay, although I was allowed to do so on the same outbound leg. There seems to be inconsistency in the way the guest policy is applied (e.g., flying first class international)."

Cons: "Comfort was compromised because we had to sit in chairs against back bulkhead and chairs did not properly recline. Headphonesfor movies were not offered. Even though I tried to reserve aseat 24 hours ahead of time, the computer system was impossible to navigate."

Cons: "Flight attendant with an attitude. He announced the dinner choices but turned around the moment he began speaking. When I asked what he had said, he rolled his eyes. That's pretty disgusting and takes a lot away from the overall experience. Sorry, that I'm a burden when I paid a ton of money for this flight. And I had no extra or special requests. I'm an easy passenger. I didn't ring for service outside the scheduled ones once... E.V.E.R. Food was the same sweet sour chicken that I had on every one of my flights with American Airlines in the last few years. Come on. Mix it up a little. The flight is expensive enough. A tiny bit more pampering would just make the difference. And flight attendants with a pleasant and patient attitude would make things a lot easier."

Cons: "The plane was not only too small for a 7 hour international flight but the sound didn't work for the only video screen in the cabin. Perhaps bigger planes can't fly from Shannon but it would make me think twice about either flying American or through Shannon again."
Pros: "Great aircraft and a very attentive cabin staff. Food and beverages were served by friendly and pleasant attendants despite a full economy section. It isn't easy to be pleasant in such circumstances, but our cabin staff were - and this on an American airline!"

They also didn't tell me baggage prices when I was there just swiped my card."

Cons: "I did not like the fact that American Airlines cancelled my 17 Yr old neice's flight from Dallas to Denver over a thing called "timed-out". And had her sleep in a room with a cott instead of a hotel room. And the fact that we as customers pay good money for tickets only to be subject to the airlines way of business. It is absolutely unacceptable!"

Cons: "A passenger seated next to me threw up all over me as we landed. We were seated towards the back, we should of been let out first because when I say threw up, I mean he THREW UP!! And the hosts looked less than pleased and just handed us paper towels to clean it up. Just not very friendly."
Pros: "I especially liked the flight attendants. Very friendly and polite and one in particular had a sense of humor and made everyone feel at ease. The whole process of our flight went smoothly with our flight so we were very pleased. There was a group of 10 of us on board. No one had any complaints. Thank you!!!"
