Cons: "I booked flight for my parents from Kayak for the first time. The confirmation number was: KAYAK Booking Reference KE40651 British Airways Record Locator 3IMN38 Booking Date Jan 24, 2021 So British airways cancelled the flight may days before the flight date and they notified Kayak but Kayak sent me no notification. At the time of check in we found that the flight was cancelled. It was such a hassle. I called kayak to rebook frantically since it was very important to travel right away. Your customer service was pathetic. I was told to cancel my british airways reservation and then I have to wait 24 hours for another department to call me to talk to me about rebooking choices. There was no concern from your customer service that since u are at fault so make correction for it right away by rebooking it. You guys didnt inform us for cancellation of the flight that happened days before the flight. I didnt like what Kayak rep was telling me and called British airways again to see if they would do something. They then were able to rebook me the following day with 2 stops instead of one stop which I had booked. So my parents took the flight with one day delay with extra stops. I had such a horrible experience with Kayak. I will never rebook from Kayak again."

Pros: "I’ve been very disappointed with the lack of cleanliness of the aircraft and the disregard of the aircraft overall. It was quite old, fair enough, but there where some missing pieces here and there that didn’t make me feel safe. The flight overall was good, British Airways crew are always very competent and professional, which is the reason why I mainly fly with BA. But this is the first time I had some concerns on the lack of safety checks especially because I travelled with my 2 years old son."

The music and video selection also made for a much more pleasant flight. The plane was newer and offered features like USB charging ports. Would definitely fly British Airways again!"

BA needs to solve these problems fast if they want my service in the future."

Pros: "The cabin crew was nice. The main dish was good. The entertainment choices were decent and the system worked fine. I don't sleep in planes so it's important to me. I got a forward facing seat so at least I didn't have to deal with the alternative."
Cons: "Not being able to make seat assignment earlier (i.e. 24h) was lame for a business flight. The second meal was mediocre, as was coffee. The screen of my entertainment system was scratched and cracked, but it didn't disturb me too much."

This flight was intense. It was overcrowded, people weren’t following Covid guidelines. And in general, was a mess due to young kids causing a lot of noise and disturbance. I ended up with a headache the entire flight because of it.
Pros: "Despite the poor rating because of the mechanical issue, I will say the pilots did a fantastic job with some pretty choppy air conditions."

Don’t pay Justfly for seating choice as the operating airline can switch your seats. Online checkin was difficult as I tried Finnair first with no luck, then got somewhere with American. Seats were not very comfortable but I guess that’s what you get in economy."

We were informed thatcher would have to wait 24hours (after an already 7 hour layover) to catch another flight to Los Angeles. After debating with customer servinge several times and being forced to wait in line after being told things were fixed several time we had to threaten to record conversations and had someone call American Airlines headquarters and finally was able to get in the flight the same night. We at work be point were laughed at by an American Airlines customer service professional. I had purchased upgraded seats since I’m over 6 feet tall and they were not able to accommodate on the new flight, the flight was horrible and I had ton stand up every hour to make I the whole 12 hours."

Cons: "Since check in in São Paulo was a complete chaos. There were only 2 people helping on check in (in machines) and these people were still not helping people (like me) with questions about on how to do check in in those machines. On the other hand to dispatch the bags there were almost 8 attendants to receive the bags. Ridiculous! I’ve tried calling American Airlines and Latam several times to assign a seat for me and they swore there were only middle seats but I know how airlines work to make extra money on these seats. At the end, they only gave me a middle seat option and I had to take I.t of course. On the plane I realized there were dozens of empty seats and yet they made sure not give them to me or anyone else. Unbelievable! Unfortunately I still have to use AA on my way back to Brazil. After this, I’ll chose another airlines for sure. Also, the 3,4,3 arrangement is ridiculous: there’s no corridor space making people touching you everything someone passes by your seat. And boy! Those seats are so uncomfortable and there’s no way to incline the chair so you can even have a little rest (because it’s impossible to even sleep on those seats). The crew were simply doing their jobs! No pleasure! No smile! No engaging with anyone unfortunately! They looked miserable and I asked for water and the flight attendant NEVER brought me anything. Seriously! Water is free!"

Flight crew repeated all instructions at least 3 times including video interruptions. What is the point of having in flight entertainment if crew will interrupt said entertainment at least once every 10 min to remind you you are still in turbulent air? Do they honestly think the passengers forgot? We are in the plane too! I understand they have to be careful due to liability but this airline is ridiculous. Believe it or not customers do not like being treated like children. Would not recommend to others or fly this airline again. Also, the lunch was awful even by airline standards. Btw the airline was avianca not AA. kayak must have messed up or they are owned by AA. AA is great and I recommend them wholeheartedly but Avianca is awful. Stay away if you can afford to do so."

Also they lost my luggage. LATAM and American Air Lines doesnt know where my luggage is. I arrived at my LAX 12 hours after. They still dont know where my luggage is"

The flight was operated by AA, and they told me I wasn't on the flight, but after many phone calls LATAN assured me I was booked on the flight. When I got to the airport, I was not allowed to board my direct flight from GRU to LAX, instead I was sent to Miami then Charlestown , I took me an extra 12 hours to get home. I lost a day of work. Who's going to reimburse me for that ???"

Cons: "How does American think it can get away with a mediocre business class fitting and charge the same as Lufthansa and United? In this flight, the did recline 170º but formed a ramp that did slowly slide the passenger under the set in front of him. I'd recommend someone from AA should fly Lufthansa Business Class or Singapore Airlines Business to check out how it should be done! ANd then, flying a beaten up 777-200er while its competitors fly 787 is nonhing but a shame!"

Cons: "The flight was delayed 30 minutes causing me to lose the connecting flight home by about 5 minutes There was no effort from United to help me to get the second flight on time or from the crew on that one to delay it enough for me to arrive. They suggested I waited 9 hours for the next available flight or to get one by AA in Reagan Airport in 3 hours. They told me that transportation to that airport would not be reimbursed and would cost between 20 and 40 dollars. I didn't know the airports were that far apart and the one-hour taxi drive cost me 80 dollars. From Sao Paulo to Washington, things went as well as expected. Once landed everything was horrible."

Cons: "Delay in connecting flight from Seattle to Denver caused us to board our plane to Grand Rapids moments before the doors closed. Had we missed our flight, an unpaid work day would have incurred as we would not have arrived in Grand Rapids until the following afternoon."
Cons: "It was so freezing we had down jackets on None of the sound on the screens worked. Disaster"

Cons: "Terrible. Flight was delayed by an hour. Gate was changed. Only reason I found out was because of email updates. It wasn't announced over the speaker. Although "comping" a film was a nice gesture, it would have been nice if the films started from the beginning. So it was basically pointless. Woman who sat next to me was a train wreck. When the snack/drink carts came around, I asked for a drink it was completely flat and disgusting. Just an overall terrible experience."

Cons: "Flight was originally for 2:58pm. When I got to the airport it was delayed until 4:15pm. This wasn't ideal but I would still make my connecting flight in EWR at 6:20. I got to my gate to find a sign saying "most on time arrivals in our history" followed by my flight now delayed until 5:00pm. It was once again delayed into 5:20pm and so I had to be transferred to an American flight or else I would not have left the day scheduled."
Cons: "I had to changes terminals 2x and flight was delayed 2x."
Cons: "The return flight took about over 4 hrs of delay."
Pros: "There were maybe two of the flight attendants. Who weren't rude. The rest well, I guess didn't like there jobs? I lost all my money for my first flight, because i was over 4 hours late. When i purchased a ticket from cheapo air, the person helping me was so nice. Unlike United airlines, or Viama. When i missed my flight that i paid $1,300.00, United said they'd give me another ticket for $4,000? This was a one time offer to redeem my $1,300 Viama said $10,500? I will only buy my tickets from cheapo air from now on."
Cons: "The flight attendants are very snotty, 2 out of the 18 I encountered were polite. The rest acted like they hated their jobs, and all the passengers. When you travel to another country they should have at least one person who speaks English. Can't really say much for the food, essentially requesting a vegetarian meal was out of the question, so i just starve. Drink some watered down booze, take a few dramamine and sleep. The layovers are ridiculous. 14 hours, 8 hours 4 hours? Good thing God made Beer and pizza."

Cons: "After sitting on the tarmac for over an hour we were told by the pilot that we had to go back to the gate to get more fuel! All this because the plane's computer did not agree with the central computer. So: 1) Why didn't the pilot check and fix this discrepancy at the gate? 2) Why did it take more than hour for them to decide what to do? 3) Why did the pilot and cabin crew take over an hour to inform us what was going on? There were many angry people on this flight, including me."

Cons: "Once we arrived Ohara airport this went from bad to worse. The plane arrived late and the we sat in the airplane for over 2hours because of repairs being made. I feel like the crew cold have been more forthcoming about what was happening it took at least .30min before we were told anything. After sitting on the plane for over 1 hours they finally move us to a new plane to board all over again it was very unorganized ."

Needless to say, the flight was over an hour late, many of us missed our connections and had to spend the night,"
