Cons: "My 757 is among the oldest aircraft in service, and it shows. Noisy and every surface is well worn. Seats are substandard in the industry for a long flight. Granted the flight was lightly filled, so that made it a bit nicer."

But by time we walked out we all missed our flight and had to rebook. I’m sure the flight to Madrid could’ve waited for the 15 of us. But they didn’t."

Pros: "The service from the flight crew was excellent. On board meals were good, too. Although my luggage never made it on my flight to Chicago due to a delay arriving in Dublin, Aer Lingus provided me with tracking information, and I received my suitcase at my home within 48 hours."

Cons: "Flight was delayed, update from the gate was 10 minute delay, actually the delay was an hour. Paying for beer and wine on a national carrier - really. Service was one and done, if you missed the first pass the crew were not coming back...you can however walk to the galley."

The food and beverages were wonderful to have on the long flight in the intervals they were handed out. Had multiple flights with Aer Lingus on our trip and was delighted with all of the flights. We will definitely be flying on Aer Lingus again!"

My tray table was filthy. Had to ask the flight attendant for a wet napkin to clean the tray and my hands."

Cons: "Online seat assignment was unavailable. Once onboard, it felt like flight staff were reluctant to give water and keep passengers hydrated on the Air Lingus flight from SFO to DUB. They even offered my 11 and 14-yr olds coffee and tea over water! We had to ask 3 times every time we needed water. Both Aer Lingus flights to DUB and to MAD were delayed."

Paying for my baggage (under20kgs) with my flight then being forced into paying again at the airport because they said they did not have my details on their system. being forced to go to another line and que up to pay a second time for my baggage to be taken onto the airport. Going back to another line to put my baggage in and show the receipt for the baggage that had been paid for twice. Going to the next (another) line with one person serving - several Dublin passengers in the que and a line that as about 100mts long- yes about 100 metres long with one person serving without any Lingus staff coming to see if all was ok . No help no announcements nothing. sitting in a plane for an hour and a half with three children under the age of four crying, screaming and yelling all the way without a thing being said by any of the crew. A little is ok, but three families with young children with no support from the crew was not pleasant"

Cons: "The flight from Ireland to Spain was fine. The flight from Chicago to Ireland, absolutely horrible. I will never use Kayak again. My wife and I showed up to O'Hare in Chicago to be told that the flight is cancelled. There was no notification, absolutely nothing. I was on hold for nearly 2 hours with Kayak. Once finally connected, the customer service agent, argued with us for nearly an hour saying the flight was not cancelled!!!! We googled it! We told him to look up on google, and he kept on saying we were wrong! After 3 hours go by, he tells "oops, it's cancelled". We wasted nearly 5 hours with Kayak to try and get different seats, and then Kayak gave my wife and I seats that are not sitting together. If Kayak, looked on google, and actually tried to help I would've had seats with my wife. So disappointing. Worst experience I've had with customer service and with a company. I'll never use Kayak again."

Cons: "The tickets we were assigned were separate. I have no idea why you would assign a couple separate seats, but thankfully they were both window seats and excellent bargaining chips. They partnered with United to get us home and only booked out luggage to O'Hare, which was not our final destination. They lost two identical bags along the way from Barcelona to O'Hare. My bet is they're being rifled through in Dublin right now."

Cons: "Some of the flight crew. The arm rests don't go all the way up which makes it really hard when traveling with a toddler. This was the case on the short flight and the longer flight to LAX. Not a fan of the food. Most of the crew seemed preoccupied and grumpy."
