Cons: They didnt tell me that the car company is "goldcar", no body know what or who is Ace company in airport. Ace company rent from another car companies cars- they never mantion that! And also they didnt tell me that i supposed to go to Gold car or something familear and they didnt answer me when i was calling.
The car i ordered was talken by other customer and i paid 60 Earo extra!!! to rent another car i wasnt ask.

Pros: By far the lowest price I could find. The car was fine except for the fact that the low tire pressure light was on when I picked it up.
Cons: Published rate is great but it does not include any insurance. When picking the car they tell you that you will need to pay a large sum as deposit (1,100 euros in my case) if you do not get insurance (which is offered at about the same as the basic rate, doubling the cost). Also, service is limited if you do not get it, you are on your own if you have a problem with the car outside of regular business hours.
I got the deposit back after the rental but exchange rate spreads in paying for it and getting it back cost me around 50% of the rental price (still very competitive, but hey!).
Ace does not exist as a brand in Spain, they operate as GoldCar. It took me 30 minutes at the airport to figure this out.
Low tire pressure light was on when I picked it up. The person that gave me the car said that most likely the light had not been reset by the maintenance people, but later I confirmed that the pressure on one of the tires was really low so I had to pump it up. Not impressed...

Many hidden fees
Pros: Overall the rental process was smooth and the car decent.
Cons: After pre-purchasing coverage, at the counter the agent tried to pressure me into buying even more coverage and then when I declined, they placed an $1100 hold on my credit card for any possible scratches or damage. There were also several small fees that were not included in the original quote.

Pros: When I got to the airport I asked for ACE and no one knew anything about it or where it was. So, I had to rent elsewhere. I am still not sure it even exists there! It is a terrible way to arrive in a country and find out my reservation was on another country ending doing a diffrent reservation with a diffrent company
Cons: Could have been less in cost ...why is it never what they quote you?

Cons: I purchased the rental through Kayak in advance with insurance and expecting a luxury car... When I arrived at Barcelona they claimed I sill needed their insurance, which was more expensive than the actual rental with original insurance combined. I received the car dirty. The car wifi did not work anywhere. My car window was broken in during my trip and wifi device stolen. Filed police report. They claimed even with not one but two insurances I was responsible. Original charge from Kayak was under $400. Total bill for some cheap car rental was over $1700. I saw similar reviews in other AVIS locations in Europe and was told by friends who had traveled and rented that they do these scams but didn't believe them. I would def not recommend this company and really is making Kayak look bad
Pros: Picking up the car was ok, and the service as well, aside from the fact I mentioned for ordering from an external website.
Cons: Apparently, when you order from Kayak or other sites, it doesn't include any insurance. So they had to cancel the order and make a whole new one, which was about 65 Euros more!
Also, the car had many dents and scratches, and when we returned it they said we caused some of the scratches on one of the wheel plates ! They really annoyed us with this.

Cons: The car was offered with a ficticus lower price, dirty a, with smoke smell and with a Maxycosy chair for my 7 months baby that was broken! 1 hour waiting to pick up the car and all this? Unceptable! Indeed I had to put a complaint and will never use europcar! Terrible / stressful experience !

Pros: Rental is easy. Staff very friendly. Car was clean.
Cons: Findibg the car at the lot was hard. There are multiple zones with same set of parking spot number. Took us a half hour to find our car. Staff only mentioned parking spit number - did not say anything about zones. Also the car had tires with low pressure.

Good rental, small hickups
Pros: Helpful people on car pickup, good offers for upgrade, etc.
Cons: Getting the car out of the parking lot was hard (it was Van). And certain things in the car were not ok: 12V power outlet, broken and Fuel Additive almost depleted and we were not told about them.
Cons: It doesn't specify the rental is inside the building behind the train station. Google Takes you across to some other streets. Very vague location. Also when you get inside there's no Dollar sign. Only after I called I realized it's inside the Hertz office. There you can see 2 tiny Dollar signs.

Don't be more than 2 hours late
Cons: They gave away my reservation for an automatic car in Europe because I was more than 2 hours late, something they did NOT MENTION IN ANY COMMUNICATIONS.

Cons: They will look at your car with magnifying glasses when returning the car. So report every dent and scratch no mater how small is it when picking the car. In my case thy charge me $90 for a missing radio antenna. I didn't even think cars even has one in modern times.
Cons: I HAVE NOT FINALLY RENTED MY CAR DESPITE THE CHARGE THE FULL AMOUNT. WHEN I SHOWED UP ON THE COUNTER (2 HOURS BEFORE IN ORDER TO DO THE PAPERWORK AND MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS FINE), THEY WANTED ME TO LEAVE 1.1000 EUROS AS DEPOSIT FOR 1 DAY RENTAL, OR PAY 70 EUROS FOR AN INSURANCE THAT I DID NOT WANT TO. AS A RESULT I DECIDED NOT TO RENT THE CAR AND WHEN I ASKED FOR A REIUMBURSEMENT OF THE RENTAL THAT I JUST RESERVED FEW HOURS AGO THEY TOLD THEIR POLICY IS NOT TO REFUND ANYTHING IF YOU CANCEL THE RESERVATION WITHIN 24 HOURS PRIOR OF YOUR RENTAL... VERY DISSAPOINTED AND WONT RECOMMEND THIS CAR RENTAL TO ANYONE. VERY BAD. I AM STILL THINKING IF SCALATE THIS ISSUE TO THE SPANISH CUSTOMER SERVICE IN ORDER TO GET MY REFUND OF THE RENTAL THAT I DID NOT ACCOMPLISH BUT I WAS CHARGED FOR.
Pros: When I bought this offer at Kayak it was after the credit card purchase where a special message appears saying extra fees may apply. Well you should better say your price will get increase over 500% due to extra fees. I ask for small economy car that's it. First catch, I was charge with full tank service. I thought ok it's nice. But when I returned the car they charge me for another managing fee. I paid over 120 full tank and when I returned the car with tank in 6/8 they refund only 30 euros. Most expensive gass ever! Then I paid for full insurance and because the car.was fully covered they.just don't care.about the car and gave me a car with bumps everywhere.
Finally they took 300 euros from my credit card as deposit. In summary they own me 350 euros that I haven't received yet one week after service.
