Airline reviews

Pros: "Great to go through customs in Dublin so the landing at home is easy."
Cons: "The airline made people unnecessarily nervous by posting a very early boarding time so people thought they had to jump in line in customs when, in fact, we all had the same departure times and all had plenty of time."

Cons: "Not much legroom"

Cons: "Many people missed their connection at Dublin. I had a horrible ~6hr wait. Aer Lingus did nothing to help or compensate."

Cons: "Excellent airline. Always my first choice!"

Cons: "Lost my bags"

Cons: "The plane was delayed by 2 hours at Dublin but we didn’t find out until about 20 min before the original boarding time. It seems like there was a mistake if the plane couldn’t be confirmed until then."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "All food and beverages had to be bought"

Cons: "my seat wouldn't stay up, kept sliding back seat27a."

Pros: "Professionalism and kind , courteous people!!"

Cons: "It was very hard to hear the boarding announcements at the gate"

Cons: "Person in front kept seat reclined the entire time. Grrrrr"

Pros: "Checked in online. Got boarding pass. Dropped bag at Aer Lingus desk. All easy. Very cordial and helpful staff."
Cons: "Very uncomfortable plane. I’m small so usually I have some room to move in my seat. Not on this plane. Most uncomfortable ride ever. Once seat in front of me was back I could not retrieve anything stowed under my seat. No room to bend. Awful. Also plane seemed worn. The magazine rack in front of my seat was brokenness one side and kept falling forward on my knees. Had hoped to sleep during this redeye; not a chance."

Cons: "Didn’t serve wine"

Cons: "Entertainment devices were malfunctioning. This also meant we couldn’t control the overhead lights, and they remained on the entire flight."

Pros: "The employees were very nice and helpful."
Cons: "Our itinerary was a little confusing, because it said british airways, but we were flying on aer lingus. So we went to the wrong gate at first, luckily we had shown up early amd that gave us plenty of time to make it to the correct gate."

Cons: "More room for passengers in economy class. It is becoming utterly unpleasant. I would like not to be forced to check-in the carry-on when the plane is full. Make more room, sell less, or don't tell me I have right too a carry-on."

Pros: "Everything"

Pros: "Not a thing"
Cons: "Your company pulled a bait and switch. You stuck me with the most unprofessional and uncooperative packager in the industry. I wasn’t apprised by Kayak that you were pawning me off on a sleazy packager."

Cons: "Aer Lingus imposes a maximum limit of 10 kg on carry on bags. For checked bags, there is a minimum charge of 35 euros which seems very high for a suitcase of 15 kg or less. The charge increases by 5 euros for each additional five kilos. We had to pay an additional 70 euros over our air fares. In order not to have to pay any more, we spent a good amount of time shifting items from one suitcase to another to avoid exceeding any of these weight limitations. One more hassle which takes away from the pleasure of traveling!"

Cons: "90 minutes stranded on the tarmac with no explanation. Not the way you start a trip. While the fact of being stranded was out of the control of Aer Lingus, communication was not."

Pros: "Everything wa on time"

Pros: "Dublin airport easy to transfer Price was top I did not eat the lunch"

Pros: "Quiet, short"
Cons: "Nothing"

Pros: "Wonderful"

Pros: "Pleasant, courteous staff. Average room in economy. Less pressure and bustle at Dublin than bigger airports."

Pros: "Everyone was polite and helpful... and we were on time !"

Pros: "The fact I got hone"
Cons: "Didvto security breach and also an issue with ground staff not bringing a wheel chair for a passenger we were herded round for 3 hours . We were told we could keep our water but then going through security wevwetevtoldcwe couldn't and there was no offer of water. The captain did apologize. I have no issue with aer Lingus staff they did their job. It is Mabchester airport which is bad as they are the ones that were responsible for these two incidents happening"

Pros: "Nothing. I flew with West Jet. Their review shall be posted on their forum"
Cons: "The abrupt cancellation"

Cons: "Everything from start to finish incompetent."

Cons: "No snacks or water"

Cons: "No issues"

Pros: "The biz class seat was good."
Cons: "Disorganized / messy check-in."

Pros: "Clean plane & bathrooms"
Cons: "About 45 minute late in take off. The sound system for movie was very distorted almost not usable. I fly several times a year. My first time with Aer Lingus. This was not a good example of your profession"

Cons: "In the US we board by row numbers. With Aer Lingus, the boarding was weird & illogical."

Pros: "Sainsburys"
Cons: "Security. Large distances to walk. Poor signage. Poor processes re onboarding. Booked Aer Lingus. Was actually a shitty Stobard plane."

Pros: "On time and easy ride"
Cons: "Picking up a stroller is always a pain with Aer Lingus. When you gate check a stroller it should be returned at the gate when you deboard. Sometimes it's near the front of the gate and other times it's by oversized baggage claim which is really painful having to carry a little one through the airport. Plus, it takes a good 30-45 minutes for the stroller to appear if you're lucky. In Paris it took 70 minutes after we deboardes. Aer Lingus needs to follow other airlines by returning the stroller as you deboard."

Cons: "Sound was very poor on movies. Difficult to recline seat."

Pros: "NA"
Cons: "Other passengers didn't understand how pounding on the back of a seat affects the passenger in the seat"
