Cons: "The website. It kept going over the same thing and I couldn’t do what I wanted to."
Cons: "This is the terrible airlines that we have ever experienced. It’s not organized at all. After booking the ticket, I didn’t say we have to check in 2 hours prior to not to get charged at the airport. When we stand at the encounter, everyone in line didn’t know this and had to turn around to get in the different line to pay for checking in. After that, we had to get back in a long line and the lady didn’t mentioned that she can check in our luggage’s. With that being said, we had to go back to other encounter to pay for checked in luggage. We paid almost $200 for checking in and luggage. How stupid is that? We and other customers in line all said we felt it’s the rip off. We come to Ireland for vacation and expected it would be welcome and nice. This turned us off. Never fly with this airlines again. Thumbs down!!!"
Cons: "Had to stand outside in rain & wind while waiting to board. Took a very long time to board. Very loud people. Excessively loud engine noise. Attendant made me open my window shade. Small seat did not recline. No seat pocket for magazine."
Pros: "We got there."
Cons: "Service was not great. The baggage allowance was lower than other airlines, forcing us to repack before we checked our bags. Checking in online was mandatory-something that wasn’t very noticeable in the email when we had a million other trip details to attend to so we didn’t and ended up having to pay a fee to check in. Ridiculous. My wife and I were not seated together even though I booked both tickets together. The inexpensive upfront price of the flight is not worth it since they will trick you into paying in other ways."
Pros: "The trip was smooth once we got a plane. Everything else was as ecpected."
Cons: "Delayed multiple times and finally departed 2 hours late. Interrupted a full day’s worth of travel plans."
Pros: "There is nothing to like about an airline that appears to have low fares and then nickel & dimes you for everything, typical bait-and-switch style of doing business."
Cons: "First of all, this airline needs to train their staff better. The gate agent I dealt with on a flight has no business in any field where she would be required to work with people. Second, this airline needs to get their s*@t together when it comes to baggage. I was humiliated (by the creature they hired for a gate agent) when I was forced off the boarding line and then demanded to pay 200 euros (cash only and in euros only) for carry-on luggage that was under the size and weight requirements, and had already flown, without incident, on numerous flights during the same trip. I filed a complaint with Ryanair and weeks later received a very passive, useless, response from some brain-dead individual in corporate I suppose. No one at Ryanair cared about the mafioso-type treatment my family and I, including my 80-year-old mother, received. Avoid this airline at all costs (literally and figuratively)! It will not save you money, or anything else. It will only cost you more!"
Cons: "We attempted to cancel our reservations more than a week before our trip because my husband was hospitalized. Not with the flu or a broken arm, but a major and serious life threatening illness we are still dealing with. We provided numerous documents as proof of the absolute dire situation and they denied the request over and over again. I get that the tickets were "non-refundable" but at least offer vouchers, credit, or be totally a stand-up company and refund the tickets. It wasn't buyers remorse, trust me, we would have preferred to be in Portugal, rather than sitting in a hospital hoping and praying for his recovery."
Pros: "I got to my destination."
Cons: "We were charged almost 200 euros extra because we did not check in online (which we could not do because we had been traveling for 30 hours and did not have Wi-Fi in the air) and when we went to check in the receptionist was rude about the fact that we had not checked in, so we had to go across to a different counter to pay our fee, go back to check in at the first counter, and then was told we could not be seated together, when it turned out the flight was half empty. Besides all of this, the planes are not nice, you are only allowed one carry on (no personal item) and the seats are not comfortable. I thought we would save money but check in fees and ridiculous baggage fees made this flight cost more than a nicer airline."
Pros: "I like how inexpensive the flight was. This would make up for the other things had we not been seriously taken advantage when it came to our luggage!"
Cons: "We checked in online the night before our flight but didn't get a confirmation. We didn't think anything of it until we got to airport to find that we didn't show checked in, had to pay EXTRA to have our boarding passes printed off, and had to pay for EACH of our bags as well!! OH! And it's almost DOUBLE if you pay for it at the airport where you can weigh it then if you do it online! And take caution! Our bags that are considered carry on size are still too big for this airline do you will forced to check Them! This is obviously how they offset their inexpensive tickets! The cost of the ticket, once you add in all the other unexpected expenses in order to actually get on the flight, was NOT worth the "cheap" tickets we got! That's the only reason we decided to fly to Ireland while on our trip to the U.K. Had we known it would cost this much we never would have come to Ireland for two days!!"
Pros: "It was a quick flight"
Cons: "The employees were just as unhelpful flying to dublin as they were flying out of dublin. Simple questions were met with disdain and annoyance rather than polite answers. We went through 3 different people before finding out that we didn't need to go through any of them which the first person could have told us. By the way the first person was a customer service attendant and he swiftly moved us on to the next line to stand in which was completely unnecessary and a waste of everyone's time. I will never fly with ryanair again."
