Cons: "I buzzed the light for service 3 times and not once did the attendant come and check on my needs. Our attendant was not customer friendly- infact I don’t recall her smiling once throughout the 13 hour journey. Overheard her being stern and rude with other passengers. I specifically asked the crew to deliver my stroller in AUD for transit since we were flying the next day and they didn’t fulfill our request. Luckily AUD airport has strollers so we used one and took it to our hotel. The fact that Etihad doesn’t provide hotel accommodation for 14 hour transits is beyond ridiculous. Really disappointed in this lack of arrangement for long haul flights."

Cons: "Etihad has gone downhill over the past few years and please consider this carrier as your last option for travel. They are simply not worth the money you save, considering the pain they make you sit through. Extremely poor service from the staff and they offer little to no option to you if the flight gets cancelled. They were not willing to accommodate my request to reroute to a new destination (which actually is cheaper than my original destination) as i was about to miss my consular appointment due to the flight cancellation and this was the only way I could make it. They outright said it's not possible, didn't even check if the flight to the new destination has availability or not. The staff especially at Heathrow is a joke, don't even bother reasoning with them."

Cons: "The upkeep of the airline, some of the airline staff to treat all passengers as one as I noticed more than an unusual amount of passengers were favoured over one another. A minimum flight of 5 hours was served with just the one meal. We were served lunch at 930 am on one flight. The observations in economy aren't as important as business class. Only if we could all afford to travel on business class."

Seriously lacking in entertainment options inflight and food is mediocre. Etihad is seriously lagging other competitors from same region like Enirates. This would effect my choice airline for my future travels."

They didn't allow me to do that, made me to pay 200 $. didn't worth it . The Abu Dhabi lounge was large and looked very beautiful with it's appointments, but it was also packed with people (late time of day, I know), noisy with men pacing around shouting on their cell phone headsets, and I wasn't aware of the many services they had like the spa, no one informed me when I checked in. I understand this airport has a lot of business and first class travelers from all countries, but they need to better organize the lounge into designated "quiet areas" for people like me where cell phone use isn't permitted, family areas, where the kids can run around screaming unimpeded like they were, and also direct newcomers into areas where there are less passengers so you can find a place to sit & grab food without wandering around this cavernous place looking for a place of respite"
Cons: "The experience of transferring through the Abu Dhabi airport was a little hellish--very hot (I know it's the ME in summer), long lines, I was patted down in a cabin by a security office because of the underwires in my bra, which I was cool with, but my carry on luggage was kept outside the cabin area with my passport and money with people swarming through in lines. Not cool. I've probably never had an international transport experience like this, outside of Cuba where they pulled me aside and interrogated me by agents even though I had a visa and had documentation I was presenting at an education conference at the government state hotel, (and I'm Panamanian American, I speak Spanish, maybe that's why they though I was a scientist/spy). This airport definitely needs more basic staff and better organization. But I'd have to say this wasn't any worse-- other than the heat--- of any US or European transfer experience I've had in the last 10 years. Lounge staff in Abu Dhabi were kind of jerks compared to other airports, they were very stand offish (like they couldn't be bothered to help you, or maybe it was my Canadian/American accent)."

Food was awful - boiled chicken taste While handing out sandwiches and drinks stewardess just gave my husband whatever I asked for without checking with him. Many times he was overlooked by the stewardesses on either side as he was in a middle seat. I did not see a single onboard crew crack a smile, robotic service. Not impressed with my first Etihad experience."

Cons: "The website does not describe baggage allowance clearly as compared to other airlines. It lists “excess baggage weight” but not the 15kg limit. The choice of 15kg as the limit is a BIG problem for international travelers who may be coming for longer stays. Air India has a much friendlier policy for checked and carryon baggage and I would choose it by far. We were charged for every kilo even though prepay options online were not user friendly. 4 thumbs down, way down."

There were many passengers who were not carrying case in Qatar Riyal and their cards work not successfully swipe,therefore they remained hungry. This is in human and no airline on international route is allowed to do so"
