Pros: "The crew was fantastic! Our needs were constantly being met and just about the time you thought you might want a snack or a meal, the attendants were already heading down the aisle. Because of an allergic reaction, I asked for ice a number of times and the attendants were more than happy to meet my needs."

Cons: "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

Cons: "Without any explanation the plane I was due to go to Istanbul on at 11.30 was not available. I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

I was td I would have to pay another €25 to take it on board. I just refused and left my bag there with them. Tired of Ryanair deliberately screwing people fo add ons especially when there is no deliberate intention involved in the action. No empathy or understanding just screw the Customer at every opportunity. No longer a Ryanair Customer, its Service and Respect that I prefer,,,"

Cons: "I got to the airport with plenty of time to make my 1:30pm flight. However the flight ended up being initially delayed for roughly 90 minutes according to the airport, while many passengers received notifications that it was closer to 2 and a half hours. When asked, the Ryanair deask said that they did not know anything and basically told us it was not their problem. We did not take off until after 5pm. However, it did not end there. Having never been told what the problem was, we finally boarded the plane and found that it was filthy. There were bread crumbs all over my seat and a candy bar wrapper underneath. I would have thought that with an extra 4 hours the plane could have at least been cleaned. Other than that, it was typical Ryanair, the seats do not recline, the staff is indifferent, and boarding was done via a bus to the tarmac."

Cons: "Cattle call. Couldn’t check in early. No gate announcement until 15 minutes before boarding closed, so had to wait in central area then rush to gate. No policing of unruly gate area. Seated in middle seat that didn’t recline. Had to check in via app prearrival at airport to avoid £55 fee per person. Basically the UK version of Spirit Airlines, but worse."

Cons: "They managed to mangle the queuing in the terminal, getting everybody on theit feet and I need the queue 20 minutes before boarding started and then have us standing in a queue on the stairs for ten minutes. The flight was delayed an hour or so, and pass Nebraska then asked to take their seats quickly as if they had caused the delay. The crew were tired but polite. Standard Ryanair fight, really, run for the airline’s convenience rather than the passengers’ comfort."

Cons: "Flight was delayed 3 times, no information given why. We were in priority and allowed down the stairs then kept there for 10-15 minutes. Boarded a bus to the plane then we couldn't get on as there was an issue with the steps. Took off after the final delayed time. On landing, we were told the airport was short of ground crew so we had to wait to steps and once off had to wait for 15-20 minutes for the baggage lane to be announced."

Cons: "The plane arrived in Palma late, the gate was changed twice, we were told before boarding that there are no drinks on board and that we should buy drinks before boarding in the nearby shops. The plane took of with more than 70min delay. Announcements from the crew were not understandable, After landing in Stansted, the gate was not ready (due to the ground crew again) and we had to wait 10min before the gate. Luggage took forever."

They: - Stood next to me and bitched about their job and people on board the flight - Laughed about a girl in front of me and her weight - Yelled at me for having my laptop open at the start of our decent (rather than ask me to close it) - Did not apologies once for the delay (which meant I missed a family members birthday) A formal complaint will be written."

This was a 45min trip and this attitude costed us another 1h wait time in the airport because we had to move and wait for the bags at the baggage claim area etc... total waste of time"
Cons: "I tried to check in on line but because of their website was unable to. So we were charged 45 euro each for a boarding pass. That is unacceptable. I would not recommend this airline."

Cons: "Terrible experience getting help, unable to print boarding pass and the lady at the front refused to help us. We got there 2 1/2 hours early and she sent us in circles trying to get our passes that we almost missed our flight because of her refusals to help us print the boarding pass."

Cons: "They have fees for absolutely everything. They don't transfer checked luggage, so basically just don't check luggage if you're using Ryanair. Also be sure to print off your tickets, otherwise you get charged a lot extra. And they can't do any of the billing at the bag check desk - you have to go to a separate line for a separate desk. In summary, RyanAir is okay IF you print off your tickets and IF you don't have any checked bags and IF you have zero questions or concerns for them and IF you don't want anything from them at any point. Their tickets aren't cheap enough to warrant such terrible service."
