Airline missed my special meal order. Those planes are really old and have very less leg space. Choice of movies is very minimal.

My flight was canceled and rebooked which I understood. The second booking was also canceled with no notification. The customer service rep would not allow me to fly into another airport due to a hurricane in my destination city and he hung up the phone on me.

Pros: "A340-600 is a wonderful plane, but economy is too cramped. The stewards do their job of feeding the "cattle", which lacks any personal service."

Honestly, the seat DID NOT EVEN RECLINE, NOR DID IT FEEL VERY SPACIOUS! I felt very taken advantage of to only have access to that part of the plane giving us more leg room for $200 upgrade for each seat. When does a Business Class seat NOT recline??? At least my flight attendant was kind enough suggesting that I let the airline know about my unhappy experience."

Pros: "Flight Delayed from EWR. But the connecting flight to mumbai was not allowed to boarded. Since the gate closed even though the flight was still there. On top of it, the flight that was provided as an alternative was again with a stopover, so now, we had two stop over and extra 14 hours of layover time. Did not offer hotel stay or transit visa. was stuck in airport. Very much disappointed with Lufthansa. Will never take this flight nor will allow my friends and family to take one ever again."

Cons: "Long wait time to board, delay of approx 40 min without any update on what was happening. I believe however that is not the fault of Lufthansa crew but rather the SJJ airport staff. I also have one star for entertainment bc there is no option for “not applicable”- this airbus was not equipped with a television or other entertainment options as the flight length is merely an hour."

Pros: "1. The crew was very pleasant and responsive. 2. The entertainment selections were plenty, recent and without extra cost. 3. The food was nice (if you weren't having meat options). My travel companion was a bit disgusted by the meat. I enjoyed the pasta!"
Cons: "1. The seats were extremely uncomfortable without sufficient cushioning. It felt like sitting on a plank. My back still hurts. We also had to straighten up the seats during meals because it was so bad for the person behind. 2. Boarding is a bit disorganized. Perhaps try splitting the boarding process into zones so it isn't a mad house free for all after the initial boarders. 3. On my flight to Frankfurt, the plane was half empty, yet my seat was changed from row 8 where I would have had almost no one near me back to row 23 where they had cramped all the passesngers into one area of the plane. This was done without request or explanation."

Pros: "I called Lufthansa customer service on 8/10/16 the day before our flight because I wasn't feeling well and was concerned that I might feel worse the next day and have to cancel our flight. The lovely Customer Service rep was so sweet and concerned about my health, answered all my questions about what to do if I needed to cancel, and told me to call back anytime for more help. Also the flight attendants remembered my food allergies and were very attentive on the flights."
