Cons: "Getting to our connection was awful. Prescreening getting into the US was terrible. Got selected for special screening and the officers said the gate knew we were held up there. Only had one hour to reach connection. Lost an immense amount of time getting swabbed and patted down. The gate was closed when we arrived. Had to run to the gate. By accident we found out the gate was closed from someone who happened to hear word that we were looking for the gate to JFK. Almost didn’t get on the flight. If we didn’t run who knows if we would have made it. If you are only giving people an hour to get to their connection, then don’t let them get held up for 40 minutes. It’s idiotic."
Cons: "Paying for inflight drinks. All US airlines provide FREE complimentary drinks and snacks. Seemed in poor taste to charge for such things made the airlines appear cheap."

Cons: "We upgraded 7 travelers for priority boarding. However as we got through check in, 2 of us were told we had to check our carry on. Mind you our carry on was the same size (exact same suitcase) as 2 others in our party who did not have to check in their bags? "Priority Boarding is now only €4.99. Be the first on board to store your cabin bag and relax in your seat before take-off." I believe I am entitled to a refund based on the info on above taken directly from the Aer Lingus website."

When I called for an update after 2 days (the promised notification from you was not made) I was told it was found and would be brought by courier to my Airbnb. When I called again, I found out it had arrived in Frankfurt but I'd have to come back to the airport to retrieve it. I had to cancel some plans and inconvenience my family because of your inept handling of my personal property. Other people were in line at the service desk to report their luggage lost. I'm VERY upset. I will avoid Are Lingus and BA in the future. NO LEG ROOM! (Crying, wailing infants the whole 7 hour flight--not your fault, but no sleep for any of us unfortunate passengers)"

Cons: "1. BA said I couldn't get a seat before 24 hrs before. Then when I tried to get a seat assignment I was told (by email) to contact Aer Lingus. Aer Lingus said that I should have called before 24 hrs before, and that seats were now in control of the gate (this still 22 hrs before flight time). Total lack of coordination. 2. At check-in I was first told that my bag was too big for carry-on, although BA had accepted it. I shrunk it down. Then I was told it weighed too much at 15 kg. When I asked why BA accepted the weight I was told BA's weight limit was different. 3. Net net, if BA is "arranging" the flight through a code-share it should have responsibility for insuring I am treated like a BA customer. Aer Lingus' customer treatment leads much to be desired."
Cons: "I'm soooo upset about the service after my flight canceled. 1.the staff ignored me when I asked if I could have a VIP to rebook my tickets earlier because my mom got cancel and was going to do the surge . But he went away and never came back, no any response of YES or NO. 2.I don't know why the airline company still need 11 hours to rebook the tickets with all our flight information and our passport liscen numbers already , making us waiting till 3 am at the airport. 3. I asked my boyfriend to talk to the staff on phone, and the staff told my BF that he didn't know my English was not good. I said to him loudly that I had told him , but the manager besides said "don't shout at my staff"to me, even without asking me what happened . Cons: "It was only an hour flight which needed no meal, but a cold drink (not water), free of charge, would have come in appreciated. This comes in very useful (and even necessary) when it is remembered that it was a morning flight which made passengers to leave their houses very early without having time to take breakfast before leaving home. And those who needed assistance with a wheel chair were left at the last point to the boarding of flight as early as 7:00 AM with no opportunity to look around for food."

Cons: "They managed to mangle the queuing in the terminal, getting everybody on theit feet and I need the queue 20 minutes before boarding started and then have us standing in a queue on the stairs for ten minutes. The flight was delayed an hour or so, and pass Nebraska then asked to take their seats quickly as if they had caused the delay. The crew were tired but polite. Standard Ryanair fight, really, run for the airline’s convenience rather than the passengers’ comfort."
Cons: "When check in took place we were kept in a dark,cold,wet & windy covered area for about 10/15 minutes before being allowed to board the plane. This is really unacceptable in this day & age."

Cons: "They make you measure your bag about three different times and charge a lot to check. They also do not post this anywhere but the airport. THEY WILL NOT TRANSFER YOUR BAGS FROM ONE FLIGHT TO THE NEXT. You have to go out, collect the bags at baggage claim and repay for your bag to check it onto your next flight. They call this "point to point" I call it an annoying scam for more $$. They also don't let you sit down in the waiting area without measuring your carry on bags. So my husband went out to get the checked luggage and then recheck it, I took his carry on luggage so it would be easier for him to go through security. Ryan air would not allow me to sit down until he came back."

We had very poor internetc and could not check in on line. The ticket agent for Ryan Air was rude, and uncooperative. The flight charged for everything including water. The seats could not recline. This was the worst flight wee have ever experienced. If you are going to continue booking flights on the horrible airline you need to warn them they need to check in early or pay a large fee. We will be contacting you for a refund of this fee."

Cons: "I flew from Cork Ireland to PMI and unfortunately a large group of young adults boarded as well. They were drunk, obnoxious, adding around a bottle of alcohol singing loud songs over the announcements. The crew did not control them properly and even had to call the police upon landing. Poorly handled situation that made the rest of the passengers suffer through the appalling behavior."
