Pros: "Nothing!!!"
Cons: "Loud men in lifeguard uniforms were allowed to blow whistles, yell, run around, and make everyone miserable by attendants. When I commented she said ,"oh well, that's the kind of flight it is,". junior high school lunchroom Nightmare!!"
Pros: "For once the flight took off on time!"
Cons: "Seating was passable for a short flight. Seat allocation was random especially as the booking confirmation was done at the same time. Presumably this is now intentional so as to encourage you to pay the extra fee?"
Pros: "Crew was professional and well organised."
Cons: "N/A"
Pros: "There is nothing to like about an airline that appears to have low fares and then nickel & dimes you for everything, typical bait-and-switch style of doing business."
Cons: "First of all, this airline needs to train their staff better. The gate agent I dealt with on a flight has no business in any field where she would be required to work with people. Second, this airline needs to get their s*@t together when it comes to baggage. I was humiliated (by the creature they hired for a gate agent) when I was forced off the boarding line and then demanded to pay 200 euros (cash only and in euros only) for carry-on luggage that was under the size and weight requirements, and had already flown, without incident, on numerous flights during the same trip. I filed a complaint with Ryanair and weeks later received a very passive, useless, response from some brain-dead individual in corporate I suppose. No one at Ryanair cared about the mafioso-type treatment my family and I, including my 80-year-old mother, received. Avoid this airline at all costs (literally and figuratively)! It will not save you money, or anything else. It will only cost you more!"
Pros: "Early arrival."
Cons: "Waiting in hallway and then tarmac to board."
Cons: "A small delay but not the airline’s fault"
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Everything"
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Horrible boarding. Horrible seats. Garbage sandwiches for a fee. Zero entertainment. Not even a seat pocket. Toilet was disgusting, no wipers. Hyper stressed. Glad it's over, baby! Never ever, again."
Cons: "Issues getting checked in. Multiple lines which we were ushered from and to only to be told to go back to self check kiosk. By the time we get to self check kiosk for the 2nd time our gate is closed and we’ve missed our flight. Not sure why the person at the check in counter couldn’t check our bags for us and get us moving through security??? No offer of any reimbursement and additionall cost for new flight later in the day at more than twice the cost of the flight we missed. Lack of clear direction or any semblance of customer service. I guess you get what you pay for..."
Pros: "Pilot not very well"
Cons: "My flight was missed from Stanstead to Dublin and RyanAir employees did not help me, they only wanted to sell me another expensive ticket."
Pros: "Good legroom"
Cons: "No pockets in seats Crew training appears inadequate"
Cons: "Too many lines and standing. Security, especially, took forever."
Pros: "Price"
Cons: "Check in, crowds, cramped seats"
Pros: "Announcements for closing flights at checkin counter area."
Cons: "We were in the line which went along smoothly until we were just a few people before being served. There was a couple that had issues and the entire line of people including me had to wait in a standstill for 30 minutes. It made me run to my closed gate but did get on. The solution is to have a counter they could have moved to just for big issues rather than hold up 50 people. So sort of plan B for big problem flyers. It was lame. All else was fine and will fly again. Thanks, Chris G. San Francisco California"
Pros: "Good leg space."
Cons: "Charging processing fee if checking in is not done online before you arrive at the airport."
Pros: "On time."
Cons: "Can't choose seats without a fee"
Pros: "The price of the flight and convenient travel times kept making their flights more attractive. The flight itself was very nice and comparable to any other airline despite comments I had read about steep lift offs and advertisements blaring the whole time. None of that happened."
Cons: "Of course the price of the Ryanair flights is what lures you in., but just about EVERYTHING else after that is stressful with this airline. All their rules must be followed precisely or you'll pay through the nose. After painstaking finding the right sized roller bags and under seat sack and making sure I was well within the weight limit, they never measured or weighed either of them. I also saw plenty of carry-on luggage way bigger than mine come on board and go into the overhead bins just fine. Kind of pissed me off. The price to check bags is SO SO high, but with the limited weight you can take in the carry-on, you almost have to check a bag unless you're doing a short 3-5 day trip."
Pros: "Nice crew and good informations flow"
Cons: "Had to wait outside for boarding. No pocket on seats."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Delayed, no info, bad service on board"
Pros: "The one flight attendant was nice and apologized for the behavior of others."
Cons: "The check in crew forced me to check a bag that I was able to put under my seat on a previous Ryan air flight two days before this trip. They would not even let me talk to cabin crew to see if there was room. I eventually took out all my valuable belongings and brought them with me onto the plane. After having a very rude interaction with two different people. One even said "don't tell me how to do my job." Then when I got on the plane there was plenty of room for my backpack. The floor was incredibly dirty with chips on all over the ground. We then sat on the tarmac for half an hour. I could not believe how rude the check in crew was, they would not even listen to me explain that I had put the exact same backpack under my seat two days ago. Completely absurd."
Pros: "Still have not left London"
Pros: "It was a quick flight"
Cons: "The employees were just as unhelpful flying to dublin as they were flying out of dublin. Simple questions were met with disdain and annoyance rather than polite answers. We went through 3 different people before finding out that we didn't need to go through any of them which the first person could have told us. By the way the first person was a customer service attendant and he swiftly moved us on to the next line to stand in which was completely unnecessary and a waste of everyone's time. I will never fly with ryanair again."
Pros: "Check in online"
Cons: "Seat comfort was not good. No recline and no seat pocket. No frills I guess"
Pros: "Quick to unload."
Cons: "In flight costs"
Pros: "Nothing. Utterly horrible experience."
Cons: "I checked in two days in advance, had to pay for the check-in and baggage fee. There was no link sent to me to print out my boarding pass When we got to Stansted, there were no working kiosks. We went to the check-in desk, where apparently many people were having the same problem we were. My wife and I were told by a very rude Ryanair employee we hadn't checked in. I showed the woman my email receipt and she refused to honor it. We are challenging the charge on our credit card. She lectured us on showing up to the airport two hours in advance. We told her we had, but had been in line for 50 minutes. My wife paid 50 pounds each to check us in, even then the security set up was... labyrinthine. And mind you, I say that knowing full well how long an airport security line can be. When we got to the point where we were supposed to hand our boarding passes over to be scanned and verified, mine wouldn't work. I waited there while the security officer called the desk we'd just come from to verify I was allowed to fly. Mind you, we were being told the gate was about to close, so time was precious. After getting through that and security, we encountered another problem. If you don't know, Stansted airport is actually a mall with an airport somewhere inside. We ran through a long, snaking corridor of shops, following signs saying "all gates." It was an absurdly long run. I don't think I've seen any other airport laid out so poorly, most have shops mixed in with gates, but not Stansted. The gates are all at the end of this silly commercial strip. But not really, you see... when we got to the end, there were no gates, but trams to another terminal. We boarded the tram, got to our terminal and ran even faster to make our flight. Luckily, Ryanair is so disgustingly disorganized that the flight was delayed. Amazingly that which caused us so much stress ended up saving us. I will never fly on this pathetic, god-forsaken airline again. It is a scam designed to filch people who are in a desperate position out of money. Also, I would advise anyone to stay away from Stansted airport. Seriously, I've flown extensively in the Americas and have encountered some pretty chaotic facilities, but Stansted was utterly soviet in its disorganization. I'd rather wait for a bus at New York City's Port Authority bus station, navigating vomiting hobos, than deal with Ryanair, or Stansted airport, ever again."
Pros: "Good flight, friendly crew."
Cons: "Flight taxied from gate more than 40 minutes late. We stood in line to board for well over an hour."
Pros: "The ride wasn't bumpy, The pilot was careful and the weather was nice."
Cons: "Not enough leg room."
Pros: "Price was great, crew friendly and professional."
Cons: "Flight boarded late. Very bumpy ride."
Cons: "seats are too crammed and uncomfortable"
Pros: "I do not like the idea not able to take my hand luggage on the plane"
Cons: "Timing"
Pros: "Cheap flight Pleasant flight attendants"
Cons: "Ended up missing flight because they said I didn't check in online. I did everything I was prompted to do (passport number, add a bag, etc), but apparently there was another button on the bottom of the webpage I had to scroll down and click. They wanted to charge us 45 euros each to check in onsite. The first person also said we didn't pay our baggage fee, which we did. Once we got things situated the doors were closed (even though the plane wasn't leaving for another 45 minutes) and they wouldn't let us through. They wanted to charge us 100 euros each to change to another flight, when the flight itself cost 39 euros. They wouldn't refund the baggage fee either! Apparently they can charge such a low ticket price because they get their money by scamming people out of it. When we finally DID get on a flight the next day, it was like an infomercial the whole way there...trying to sell people everything from water to watches. I would never suggest Ryanair to anyone."
Pros: "not much"
Cons: "boarding, bag check"
Pros: "Really enjoyed my flight to London & back to Dublin with my Nieces"
Cons: "Would have loved it if there were some Irish stewards or stewardesses on board as it would have been easier to understand their accents and they tend to warmer & friendlier in their dealings with passengers"
Pros: "Friendly crew"
Cons: "The seats are to close to one another and gets unconfortable fast"
Pros: "The crew"
Cons: "Free snack and 1 water could have been nice"
Cons: "The price is extremely misleading as they charge almost as much a ticket per luggage."
Pros: "Cheap travel"
Cons: "We were delayed two hours, with no announcements of changes. You needed to watch the boards and if you missed it, you missed the flight even after you had sat there for two hours."
Cons: "slow, disorganized check in. Boarding is hideous, I'd rather wait in a DMV line. Airline run as if consumer, and luggage, are to be avoided. I cannot understand why Anyone would fly them routinely."
Pros: "The plane was clean, the crew was polite and helpful"
Cons: "it's not worth it, i chose it as it was the cheapest flight available, what u discover later is that u pay 2 times as much in transportation because the airports are further off than the main ones, I ended up paying 140 pounds for my luggage, it was 8kg over weight but that price is unreasonable. I ended up checking in and baggage drop in nearly 2hrs, they were so slow And I could have missed my flight if I wasn't there extra early. I might as well have used some other airlines with alliance and even got miles"
Pros: "Extremely friendly in-flight crew; one of the best I've seen in my frequent travels."
Cons: "Hidden fees (£15 to reprint a boarding pass is outrageous). Half of the kiosks were not functional. After standing in the Customer Service line for assistance because the kiosks kept charging our credit cards and not printing anything, the Customer Service agent told us we had not paid despite our receipts showing we had. Wasted another 30 mins going through that process. Hidden Fees galore. Thankfully I had read through all the emails from Ryanair, both marketing emails and flight related, to have noticed all the additional fees. This meant my friends ended up paying double what I did for their flights after all the additional fees. The boarding process out of STN was incredibly inefficient, but that has little to do with Ryanair. The gem in this whole experience was the in-flight crew- kind, calm, and incredibly pleasant."
Pros: "Cost Convenience"
Cons: "Walking across tarmac to board No music or anything"
Cons: "The most horrbile airline with the most unprofessional staff and employees I have ever seen in any business including airlines. Due to their technical issues with their computer systems and staff who were being trained on the spot, we ended up missing our flight and they were not accomodating in any form to help us with getting on the flight when they really could have. they were rude, unprofessionla, and did not care. our experience with them was like a bad dream."
Pros: "If you are flying without luggage or carry-on, Ryan Air might be fore you."
Cons: "The airline charges a ridiculous amount for EVERYTHING! We bought our tickets and realized almost immediately that bags were not included. We tried to upgrade our ticket type to be inclusive of a bag, but took two hours to navigate their automated "customer service". Finally got through to a live person (which they charge for), they will allow you to upgrade the ticket if you bought through KAYAK. You have to purchase your bags separately, and 1 bag was significantly more than what our ticket costs. I contacted KAYAK roughly 5 hours after the original purchase, and they could do nothing because Ryan Air is a low cost carrier. It was cheaper buy Aer Lingus seats inclusive of luggage than to add luggage on Ryan Air. I will never fly Ryan Air again, and caution anyone trying to buy Ryan Air through KAYAK"
Cons: "Extra charge to print boarding passes, costs of luggage. Flight was delayed."
